We went 4 nights in this hotel. Here are the pros and things to be aware of since I cannot think of true cons. Pros: -Pick up from the airport was very nice and super helpful. -The hotel is in a good location. Most sites are within walking distance. -We stayed in a Royal Suite. The room is huge, comfortable, has a kitchenette, is updated, and has a working air conditioner! The views of the canal are superb. -WiFi is good. -The breakfast is tasty and perfect to get you going for the day. -Staff is very friendly and helpful. They try to get to know you a little bit, which adds to a nice personal touch. Things to be aware of: -The hotel is small. Do not expect a large chain hotel. -Meal are not available after breakfast. -Air conditioning is not central. There are individual units in the room which can be noisy. We kept it on during the day. We did not need it at night. Overall, we had a great experience at this hotel. We will not hesitate to return. I don't know everyone's name (sorry), as I would like to say a more personal thank you to many people, but thank you to Emma. Also, thank you very much to Peter the Concierge, who helped us prior to our arrival, and during our stay. He has a ton of knowledge and a lot of helpful tips.

Ero una persona e mi hanno chiesto di pagare la tassa di soggiorno 2 volte perché hanno detto che è una camera doppia ed è così che dovrebbe essere - 30 euro invece di 15. Hanno detto ”è sul sistema e che non può essere cambiato anche se sono solo una persona”. In quell'albergo non permettono a nessuno di aprire le finestre, il che è molto stressante anche per chi non soffre di claustrofobia. Nessuna finestra aperta - ovviamente in tutte le stanze chiuse a chiave - ma anche in tutto l'hotel. Era una sensazione molto strana non poter respirare aria fresca ed essere chiusi in tutto quel grande edificio. Personalmente non consiglierò questo hotel a nessuno e anche se pagassi 0 euro non tornerei.

Friendly, kind, beyond helpful and attentive all without being aloof. The staff at this hotel are so outstanding. When a mini hurricane cancelled a morning tour, Fabiene (concierge) reorganized our day within minutes while also handling a tour group and a myriad of airline and train cancellations. She saved our trip here. While I may not get the chance to return, I will always remember this hotel for its service and friendliness. Highly recommend!

La posizione dell'hotel era buona. È a pochi passi dalla stazione centrale ed è circondato da molti negozi e ristoranti. Il personale è stato cordiale e l'addetto alla reception mi ha persino accompagnato all'ascensore. Tuttavia, la disposizione dell'hotel era un po' strana perché l'ascensore per la mia camera era piccolo in un angolo vicino all'ingresso del parcheggio. Non è stata una buona impressione visto l'importo pagato per il soggiorno. La camera era piccola ma l'arredamento era gradevole e molto confortevole. Il gabinetto era di buone dimensioni e la doccia era relativamente ampia. La colazione fornita in hotel era buona.

L'hotel è abbastanza vicino alla stazione ferroviaria centrale. È anche vicino alla Chinatown, al museo Rembrandt, ai ristoranti e ad altri luoghi turistici. Il personale è cordiale e disponibile. C'è un piccolo ristorante al primo piano. Ci sono anche piccoli scaffali con snack e bevande dietro l'addetto alla reception, quindi è abbastanza comodo prendere degli spuntini di mezzanotte. La camera è di buone dimensioni ed è molto pulita. L'arredamento è abbastanza giocoso e moderno, simile a quello di altri hotel Ibis. Il prezzo è buono per la posizione e le dimensioni della stanza. Tuttavia, la stanza non è molto insonorizzata. È facile sentire il suono proveniente da altre stanze e formare il corridoio. In questo momento, l'Olanda non ha più bisogno della mascherina all'interno dell'hotel, quindi è bello tornare a come era prima della pandemia.

Ho pernottato una notte in questo hotel del centro di Amsterdam e devo dire che è stata una esperienza discreta perché l’albergo è sì nel posto nel posto più centrale di Amsterdam ma è difficilissimo se non impossibile arrivarci con l’automobile e l’eventuale deposito dell’auto in garage o in parcheggio e costosissimo (superiore ai 50 €). Il personale è gentile e attento alle esigenze del cliente. La colazione è discreta e i servizi offerti dall'hotel sono buoni. Purtroppo, le difficoltà a raggiungere questo hotel in auto, le camere assolutamente non moderne e la location centrale, ma non delle migliori non lo rende un posto perfetto dove alloggiare.

Abbiamo trascorso 1 notte in questo hotel in attesa di un volo aereo. Posizione eccellente: pochi passi dalla stazione centrale (frequentissimi e puntuali i treni dall’aeroporto alla stazione centrale) e da piazza Dam, praticamente in centro. Hotel molto carino, arredato con buon gusto e uno stile decisamente piacevole. Personale davvero gentilissimo e solare. Camera un po’ piccola e, la nostra, con vista su altra camera…una cosa un po’ inquietante! Bagno carino ma l’assenza della porta (hanno porta con vetri smerigliati sia la doccia che il wc ma non ha porta l’intera stanza da bagno che quindi affaccia direttamente sulla camera da letto) proprio a me non piace. Due brick di acqua gratuiti, bollitore, macchina Nespresso con cialde a disposizione. L’acqua del rubinetto è potabile. Amenities non male. Letto comodissimo. Pulizia: si potrebbe fare di più sia nelle camere che nelle aree comuni. Il bar e il ristorante piacevoli. Colazione buona: buffet con dolci, uova, bacon, piatti caldi (tipo verdure in padella), formaggi, un paio di salumi e pesci affumicati. Yogurt (anche di soia), cereali, verdure crude, macedonia e frutta fresca. Confetture, spremute varie, pane e diversi tipi di frutta secca e semi. Caffè americano buono. Hanno anche menu alla carta da cui poter ordinare. Quando tornerò ad Amsterdam penso che sceglierò nuovamente questo hotel.

Situazione a 7 minuti a piedi dalla stazione Pulizia, ma un po'piccola.Specialmente un bagno molto stretto. Purtroppo, era in costruzione sulla strada, quindi il riscaldamento e l'acqua calda non uscirono fino alle 5 del giorno dopo alle 10 della notte ....

Basta, la prima volta sulla roccia dura Amsterdam ma non sarà l'ultima.Grande parte della città molti ristoranti e bar e facile passeggiata al centro.La camera è lussuosa e credo che tutti siano diversi.Il personale è così amichevole. Pulizia buono valore e un colazione fantastico.

We really enjoyed our stay. It is close to a lot of shops and restaurants. The Rijksmuseum is a short walk away. There is a tram stop also within walking distance. If you want to do a canal cruise, there are several that board across the street from the Rijksmuseum. There is a bus that goes right from the airport and stops across the street from the hotel. The bus stop to catch the bus back to the airport is just down the next block. Our room was pretty spacious for a European hotel. As a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum member, my suite night awards didn’t get approved (likely because the hotel was full) but I did get upgraded to an executive room. I enjoyed the personal welcome note and treats from the staff. They also dropped off a thank you note and a small gift of stroopwafels on our last night! The only issue we had with the room was that we couldn’t get the temperature as cool as we wanted but that wasn’t a dealbreaker. The room had a coffee maker and a small mini-fridge to keep water and drinks cool. The M Club Lounge at the hotel was great. My only complaint is that I do wish they’d vary their breakfast items each day. Five days of the exact same items got to be a little tiresome. We only made it to the club in the afternoon/evening twice during our stay. On Friday night, it was jam packed. People were circling like sharks. I really loved the coffee machine in the M Club and liked that they had bottled drinks we could take back to the room.

Siamo appena tornati da un weekend ad Amsterdam ed abbiamo soggiorno all’hotel Library. Hotel molto carino e ubicato in una posizione molto comoda sia con la stazione (a qualche centinaia di metri) sia con il centro storico (raggiungibile in pochi minuti a piedi) . Dalla stazione partono numerosi tram per raggiungere tutte le attrazioni delle città. Le camere dell’hotel non sono molto spaziose ma pulite e ordinate. Il bagno pulito con una bella doccia grande. La colazione (non compresa nel prezzo ma accessibile visti i costi della città) buona e varia. All’ingresso c’è questa bella libreria con salottino soppalcato dove ci si può rilassare ammirando il canale e sorseggiare un caffè o un tè (gratuiti). Ci ha accolti Ayube che per tutto il soggiorno ci ha assistiti e ben consigliato. Se dovessi ritornare ad Amsterdam sicuramente ritornerei al Lybrary hotel.

The entrance to the hotel was very welcoming with friendly concierge’s at reception , the lift was close by and also our room was. The actual room was small and so it meant we couldn’t open the patio doors without wedging them open with shoes, the weather was absolutely gorgeous and did sleep with the doors open , fortunately it was a very quiet area as well. The steam from shower did not clear very quickly and we noticed the extractor fan was blocked with fluff and debris, so the mirrors took a while to clear in the shower room. We chose not to have the breakfast ( we were given a choice which was good) we found the breakfast area was not very inviting and the food was expensive for what was there. The area was perfect for our short break in Amsterdam , thanks

L'hotel è pulito, il personale molto gentile, ottimo hotel anche come posizione. Vicino a fermate dell'autobus, metropolitana (5 minuti a piedi) e dal traghetto gratuito per arrivare sull'altra sponda del canale. Inoltre, sotto l'hotel c'è un supermercato ricchissimo di prodotti, molto rifornito oltre che bello a vedersi. Tanta varietà di cibo take away, sia cucinato dalla gastronomia che confezionato (il sushi era buonissimo). Comodo per qualsiasi necessità. Unica nota meno positiva, la colazione. A buffet ma purtroppo i prodotti sono quasi tutti scongelati e non buonissimi. L'omelette e la macedonia assolutamente bocciati. Ma già che sia inclusa nel prezzo della camera è una buona cosa. In ogni caso, l'hotel è consigliato.

Quando in un viaggio d'affari a Amsterdam ho soggiornato solo una notte a ”Rosalia's Menagerie Inn Upstairs” e l'ho amato ... Ha solo 6 camere boutique con stile individuale e la mia (un letto doppio King) è stata comoda e ha fornito tutto quello che mi serve per il mio soggiorno. La proprietaria Rachel Bonnewell era bella e mi trattava con caldezza e gentilezza da check-in a check-out, lei era l'ospite perfetto. Adoro la decorazione unica e ricco, e il colazione personalmente preparato è stato delizioso e un grande inizio per la mia giornata di camminare ad Amsterdam. La mia camera era di 150 € per notte con colazione. L'Hotel è, come nel nome, 'sullo alto' e le scale sono tipiche di vecchie case olandesi in quanto li salgono non è per chi ha problemi di salute o di mobilità ... Nota, non c'è ascensore e le scale sono strette, rigide e torciate. Sono certo che rimarrò ancora e spero di farlo nell'estate del 2024.
