If you have choicest boxes to tick for a hotel stay, Hotel Urban Galaxy ticks them all. Super location, superlative service, clean and fresh rooms, friendly staff and excellent food. The hotel is very close to all the points of interest in Amritsar. Should you need an expansive view of the Har***dir Sahib premises, just press Floor 4 of the elevator and you get an excellent view which is defintely an extra bonus. The rooms are clean, spacious and beautifully furnished. Icing on the cake is the friendly staff, courteous, laborious and ever smiling. Special mention to Raj at the reception, Vardhan , the ***ager and Heera who went out of the way to get us medicine at midnight. 5 stars to Saaba, our *** Friday. If you're in Amritsar, don't miss the stay here.

Basic hotel with minimal amenities, but clean. Excellent location: only a few minutes to the Golden Temple and its surrounding shopping district.

Best part of this hotel is location, just behind the golden temple launger hall as well as very close to Jalianwala bagh. Just 2 minutes walking distance from golden temple gate. Room was good but bed sheet was not proper clean. Bathroom was okay. Free wifi facility available. They have restaurant benefit in terrace. Food quality was good except tea. Staff's are professional and cordial.

The hotel is in a great location and in close walking distance to the town center, attractions and Golden Temple. The negative is the hotel staff lacks professional training in dealing with guests. The communication is not very good but the rooms were adequate and clean.

This is an average hotel with few pros and cons Pros: 1. Proximity to langar hall golden temple, barely 2mins walk away 2. Rooms were clean 3. Has 24*7 roof top resturant which also has golden temple view 4. We asked to keep our luggage post checkout till evening and luggage was sound and safe. Cons: 1. Rooms are very small 2. Ground floor room 001 smelled like urinal. 3. There were mosquitos in the room 4. There is no kettle, room tolitaries available in the room. 4. Ground floor room was noisy since reception was near ( we insisted that we have small kid please give us noiseless room but they said no other room was available) 5. Taps of the bathroom was not working properly and wetting us all around anytime we were trying to wash our hands. Lastly, hotel reception called us at 11:40pm before 1day of checking to confirm that we are coming or dropping. My husband even said this is very odd time to call but they ignored.

Have been with my family , in March. The hotel is decent. Its close to the Golden Temple , Langar Hall , walking distance . Its 8 min walk to Heritage Walk, where all the shopping area is there. The rooms are not too big , but ok for 2 people . Windows open to the ducts. Their suite rooms are better and big, with windows. Food is good , they have a small terrace , where one can have food, and it one can see Golden temple from terrace itself. Staff is courteous . Must mention Vardaan, very helpful, although they charged me extra for extension for couple of hrs. Thanks for services .
