Antika Amman Hotel

Excellent value. Stayed 7 nights and loved the way the setup facilitated community. AC was perfect and much needed in the 100 degree heat. It was a short walk to excellent shawarma as well as to downtown shopping district. Much to see and do nearby. The staff(and owners) were very willing to help. If you love antiques and buying the real middle eastern stuff (lamps, rings, mother of pearl and much much more) they are very much worth buying it there rather the Shops that sell cheap imitations. In fact go just to see the real stuff !

From the outside main street side it is unassuming. However from their main entrance it is well decorated. The rooms are nice in size, with an home atmosphere with rooms grouped together to have family and friends in close proximity. The staff, Fady and Mousan,(forgive me if it's mispelled) were very personal and kind in making sure we were well taken care of. We will stay here again. We loved it!

Located just beside The Bank of Jordan This is a small simple comfortable family run hotel that provides all the basic needs for a stay to discover the main sites downtown. Located at a stone's throw away from rainbow street there are plenty of places to eat and drink and a small convinence store meters away. Very safe location for wondering around to and back at night. DownTown is a steep energetic but interesting walk that can be done in 20 mins. I had a room on the 1st Circle side of the hotel of which the noise wise level was acceptable. The room was a very good size, clean with comfortable bed, the bathrooms though small and basic provided a well preassured hot shower each day. Only "issue" was the sound proving between my room that had adjoining door to the next room as you could hear everything from the resudents in that room (ear plugs worked for me though so getting to sleep was fine) Wifi is fast and free The common room is clean and quaintly furnished in old oriental style which is quirky and provides a cozy charm to the hotel. Hot water coffee/tea is available in the common area throughout the day which is nice addition especially on one cold evening. The breakfast was simple though it provided enough nutrition for a morning of walking and provided cooked omelette as well as boiled eggs. What made the hotel was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff from pre-booking conversations via whatsapp with Hiba and face to face enquires with Mary who was a delight to deal with at reception Pre-arrival communication including arranging a private driver for airport pickup. A special mention to Richard my driver and a warm personality who I continued to be in contact with throughout my trip to arrange a Taxi service with during my stay. It was a pleasure to meet and chat with him hearing his many stories from past and amusing stories from present. Meeting someone who is so dedicated to providing a service to traveler’s not for personal profit but for satisfaction and integrity to their job is rare. He is definitely one to reach out to for your driving and tour needs. I stayed 3 nights and returned for a 4th night after a tour (I was able to store my luggage safely for a day and a half too!) This room was again sufficient in size comfort and facilities but located opposite the kitchen so arriving after dinner time the food smells (not unpleasant) had seeped into the room - rectified by opening the window so not a big issue.

a small boutique hotel with nice rooms, very clean honestly. drycleaned sheets which is something you don't see often in the small hotels in Amman. we tried their tours first through Richard their driver and the experience was outstanding so we booked all our tours with them and they spared us a lot of time and their driver provided much information along the way so actually, we didn't need to add guides in the sites. their breakfast buffet is fresh and with a lot of varieties and their wifi is super fast. We will definitely come back and recommend this place to our friends.

Hôtel au cœeur d'Amman ,à deux pas de rainbow street, nombreux restaurants, commerces, transports. l'hôtel est situé dans un immeuble ou il ccupe la totalité du 2ème étage l'implantation est assez original, tout se trouve sur le meme niveau, réception, salon, salle du petit- déjeuner, et l'ensemble des chambre... la décoration est vraiment sympa, le personnels accueillant et réactifs, chambre de bonne dimension, bien équipée. Le petit-déjeuner type local est très bon.

Grosse déception ! Nous y avons passer notre première nuit arrivés tard à Amman nous sommes arrivés nous avons dormi et au réveil après le petit déjeuner nous avons abrégé notre séjour et avons annulé notre deuxième nuit qui y été prévue à la base ! 176 pour 2 nuit pour un « hôtel » aux prestations très sommaires non merci ! On ne s’y est pas senti bien du tout dès notre arrivée dans la chambre. Chambre étroite pour une famille de 2 adultes et 2 enfants… un cafard dans la salle de bain qui se baladait à été catégorique dans notre décision. Le petit déjeuner c’est un peu le premier arrivé premier servi … si t’arrive tard tampis pour toi tu fais avec ce qu’il reste ( sauf pour les omelettes heureusement sinon il ne restait plus grand chose )… mais bon ça ne donnait vraiment pas envie et très peu de choix.. dommage. C’est mon premier commentaire négatif nous ne somme pas difficiles mais là ça ne valait pas le prix du tout… on a trouvé un autre hôtel légèrement moins cher et beaucoup mieux avec suite petit salon ect .. un soulagement ! Bref Je ne recommande absolument pas cet hôtel … inutile de vous dire qu’il est bruyant ça a déjà été dit dans les précédents avis… je m’arrête là c’est mieux ! Les goûts et les couleurs… certains y trouvent leur comptes tant mieux pour eux mais pour nous ça n’a malheureusement pas été une belle expérience.
