I had a terrible experience in this hotel at the end of August. Someone(s) broke into my room for 2 consecutive days with my door confirmed locked. The hotel didn't treat me seriously, they couldn't provide any convincing explanation or compensation. I went there for a business trip and had booked this hotel for 10 nights. The break in incident happened in the early morning 5:30am after my first sleep. I heard someone tried to open my door, but because I had locked it, so the intruder shaked the handle a few times, and eventually it did open!!! I went down and reported to the reception directly and asked if there was any CCTV. The staff said she didn't know...had to wait for her colleague to come back to answer me in the evening....by then i was told that there was no CCTV in this hotel...and they admitted it was one of their staff who broke into my room!!! I requested an explanation, the front desk only said it would not happen again. I requested to meet the duty manager, she said the manager would talk to me tomorrow....this is how they treated this security issue and code of conduct ”seriously”. Totally unacceptable. I could only go back to my room for the 2nd night. But then at 7:15am in the next morning, there was someone broke into my room again!! With a loud door closing sound, which i even more confirmed then the first time. The intruder went out as well before showing his/her face. It was unbelievable!!! I reported to the front desk again but they seemed not believe in me. Said it was not their staff this time and it was impossible to unlock the door with other cards. Long story short, it took me a whole day again in order to talk to the duty manager. And i personally showed her how to unlock my door using her card. She was finally speechless and arranged a new room for me. She said would investigate But I still could not receive a solid explanation in the next day and really felt unsafe. I was not able to sleep well and was super alert to different sounds. The next day the GM finally met me, but then still no compensation or with any gesture of apology. Didn't feel i was treated seriously so I decided to change the hotel for personal safety. They still charged me the fee for the 3 days. This was my worst hotel experience ever. The hotel is set in a nice location in the country and a 20 minute walk from the train station which was ok for me, even if it was uphill which is weird in NL ! Check-in was weird, for some reason the two people were talking about us in Dutch and laughing at us, nice welcome. There were three of us arriving at 14:30 but our room wouldn’t be ready until 15:00 so the individually stored our bags, which was weird. My colleagues wanted to use the gym, but despite the fact we were there for almost a week there were no slots…..weird, later found out the hotel had leased the gym to a fitness trainer - why not be honest about it! Rooms have almost no sound deadening, TV didn’t work, no hand soap in the room and piece of foam for a bed wasn’t the best, I guess from that perspective you get what you pay for. Most of the bar staff and waiter staff were brilliant, great personalities and wanted to do their best for you which was nice. The food was a bit patchy and got the impression they were struggling in the kitchen, no different to many hotels and mostly ok, my group had to reject a couple of steaks, but was dealt with reasonable professionally. The meeting room was tight and a bit dangerous from the perspective the laptop power points were on the wall and created quite some trip hazard and the overhead projector build had seen better days and made the colours wishy washy. And now for the downright ugly, now I do get that hotels are struggling to recruit in current climate, but why would you put your worst employee on reception! We had an American VIP join out meeting, he only drinks Coke, as there was no one in the bar area I asked if reception could help. He said he could, promptly brought two bottles of Coke but then told me that I wasn’t “authorised” to put this on my room and I needed to pay cash. I tried to reason with this person that I didn’t have cash on me and as we were spending in the region of 15,000€ with the hotel perhaps he could either add it to the meeting room cost, or food and beverage cost. He told me that he was not prepared to do so! He summoned a colleague from back office and she agreed the only option as I had no cash on me was to leave with the Coke. I was rather upset by this treatment and to my discredit I raised my voice, and despite a colleague was on the phone to potentially another guest and there was a queue behind me, they simply didn’t care and it was more important to them that they didn’t release the Coke with payment ! I left shocked, then entered the kitchen to find the bar staff cleaning dishes as they we short staffed, which I understand, and her comment was “ I don’t know how to charge you for the Coke, but you take it and I’ll figure it out”. Give this lady a promotion and send the clowns on reception to wash the dishes.

Soggiornato per pochi giorni e purtroppo avendo già pagato ci siamo adeguati. Nel complesso la camera e ambienti comuni sono grandi come deve essere un 4 stelle ma trascurati. Poca cura in tutto sopratutto nella pulizia della camera, trovata sporca piena di polvere all'arrivo con sanitari indecenti. Ci siamo lamentati mostrando alla receptionist lo sporco , risposta è dovuto al calcare e ferro, premetto che con detergenti appositi il problema si risolve ma purtroppo lo sporco non era determinato solo da quello. Il materasso era sprovvisto di protezione (solo lenzuolo) con macchie evidenti , uno schifo. Ci siamo fatti dare un lenzuolo e fodere per cuscino, anch'essi sprovvisti di copri cuscino, per garantire un minimo di igiene. Nei giorni successivi veniva solo fatto il letto, niente pulizia sia nella camera dove svolazzavano gattini di polvere e sopratutto nel bagno che utilizzavamo con dovute precauzioni. La colazione era molto varia e soddisfacente , il ristorante gestito bene con piatti buoni. L'opinione generale comunque non è positiva, l'igiene e la pulizia devono essere garantiti su qualsiasi altro servizio.

Op de site gemakkelijk gereserveerd,  je moest wel 100% vooruit betalen. (Inplaats je creditcard als zekerheid te geven) (Later zag ik dat sommige gewoon achteraf konden betalen)  De balie werd bemand door een jongedame. Die blinkt niet uit in welkome vriendelijkheid. Later vroeg ik of ze eurobriefje in munt geld kon wisselen omdat hun hotel automaat alleen muntgeld accepteren. Dat heb ik niet,  was het antwoord. Inplaats van zelf aanbieden vroeg ik of ik wat uit de bar mocht. Dat kon uiteindelijk,  pff. Het hotel is recent geopend. Kamer 239 oogt nieuw. Toilet was niet 100% schoon.  Restaurant,  de jongens die er rond liepen hebben geen horeca ervaring, of moet KFC zijn. Had een goulash soepje vooraf, was niet lang genoeg in de magnetron geweest. Daarna had is spare ribs, die hadden wat langer voorgegaard moeten worden. Kreeg geen extra servetten of een citroen doekje. Mocht je je handen gebruiken om te eten. Maar ook geen bakje of extra bord voor de botjes. En tempo is ook niet erg hoog. Locatie is buiten Amersfoort, maar je zit zo in de stad. Bedden prima. Overal door het hotel hangen oude foto's van Amersfoort, erg leuk Wifi is in mijn kamer zeer instabiel, labtop deed het zelfs niet. tv ned 3 en sbs6 worden op de tv gescrambled. Nog navraag naar gedaan maar ze wisten niet waarom.  Ontbijt goed compleet,  zelfs met een egg-station station. Wel is het in deze tijd dat het ontbijt ”maar” tot 9 uur is. Ipv je nu veel ziet in hotels to 10 of 11 uur.

Il personale è incredibile amichevole, cortese e gentile. Da la facilità del check-in per aiutare ogni volta della notte o del giorno, consiglio fortemente questa proprietà. Certamente un soggiorno di cinque stelle. Se siete nella zona, consiglio di provarlo. Il cibo nel ristorante è anche fantastico.

Dopo una piccola battaglia con la porta girante all'arrivo (molto imbarazzante), il personale si era tanto attento a assicurarmi che io fossi in ordine. Prosecco, come un gesto complimentare dell'hotel, è stata portata in camera, una sorpresa meravigliosa. Un pasto eccezionale nel ristorante, come vergogna era così tranquillo, se si va al ristorante, supportare l'hotel. La stanza era grande. L'intera esperienza era meravigliosa non può aspettare di tornare. Amore la gamma NH.
