This is a rather elegant Pousada which is managed by the Pestana Hotel chain. Checking in at Reception was painless and swift. The staff generally were pleasant and friendly. Our bedroom was on the ground floor overlooking the car park. We needed to keep the windows closed for security and the curtains closed for privacy. The bedroom was pleasantly furnished and in good condition. The bed was king size and very comfy. There was plenty of hanging space for clothing The size of the room left very little space to conveniently store suitcases. The room was equipped with a refrigerator but no mini bar. There was also a television which as far as I could tell only had Portuguese programs. I could not find any English language programs. This did not really a problem because I was staying at this hotel for a limited time and did not want to watch TV. The bathroom was en suite with both a bath and a shower. The bath was useless because it did not have a bath plug and the hotel staff were unable to find a bath plug for me. There was plenty of tepid warm water for washing. However you need to have patience to have hot water. Hot water took a lifetime before it reached our room Our bedroom must have been some distance from the boiler because other guests did not suffer the same problem. A lot of water was wasted while waiting for the hot water. This was not a good way to “Save the Planet” as instructed by a sign / notice on display in the bathroom from the hotel management. The plug in the wash hand basin did not work properly. As you will realise having a wash in this hotel was a bit of an ordeal. Buffet breakfast had lots to chose from with a choice hot and cold dishes. The Lounge bar is comfortable and pleasantly furnished. Apart from the lack of bath plugs, the hotel is in good condition and decorative order.

A very nice hotel at an affordable price. Although it seems far from the action it is actually located at a very convenient locale. Avoiding the city center traffic jams, offers fast access to and from the airport and it is within walking distance (10-15') from the Lisbon Zoo, the metro station and the train station. And if you do not like public transport, a taxi ramp is conveniently situated right outside the hotel's front door. The staff is really cheerful and professional and always eager to help and offer advise. The premises are clean and well kept and the food is excellent. Prices are reasonable and affordable by the average traveler. We are a family of four and the hotel does not offer family rooms, however they did their best to secure that we get 2 adjacent rooms and provided room keys for everyone to come and go as they please. Overall a great experience and a highly recommended place to stay

ENG: Summary: Somehow, *********** permits this barely-2-stars hotel to be verified with 4. The only thing good here are the surprisingly large rooms and the swimming pool. Possible one the most peculiar hotel I have been to in my life. Firstly, it is almost impossible to get there with a GPS. The only sign is a tiny one saying ”Local Hotel” in the front door. Secondly, the hotel is somehow 4 stars, when in reality it doesn't go over 2 stars. Some examples of this: horribly low maintenance the walls haven't been cleaned probably since it was constructed. Moreover, there is humidity problems in the hotel. The breakfast, is terribly bad. Resembling the breakfast of a backpacking hostel. Moreover, the ”room service” is basically non-existent, in which they give you ”clean” towels (not enough for everyone, we were 4, they gave us 2.) The only good thing I can think about in this hotel is probably the surprisingly large rooms and the swimming pool. Questo è stato un posto brillante per stare che ha grande valore per soldi, confortevole e in una posizione davvero grande proprio fuori dal centro di Lisbona. I collegamenti di trasporto erano abbondanti e devo dare 5 stelle al nostro ospite (scusate, non sono riuscito a catturare il suo nome - credo che potrebbe essere Pedro??) che era incredibilmente amichevole, professionale e ci ha fatto sentire molto benvenuti nell'edificio. Il nostro unico problema era quello di lasciare le tasche al mattino, mentre il check-in non si apriva fino alle 15:00. Ci è stato detto che potevamo fare questo a partire dalle 10:00, perché ci sarebbe stato il personale di pulizia, ma quando usiamo il buzzer alla porta anteriore non abbiamo avuto risposta. Fortunatamente siamo riusciti a entrare attraverso un altro paio di soggiorni nell'edificio. Da qui un membro del personale di pulizia era felice di bloccare i bagagli in ricezione fino a che non si apriva il check-in. Solo una cosa minore in generale, ma questo processo potrebbe essere un po' meglio :) grazie per averci avuto!

Hotel con molto gusto in decorazione, piacevole,con personale molto amabile e simpatico. Camera molto buona e pulita con letti confortevoli e bella bagno con doccia impeccabile. Mi piace la zona della camera con un giardino esterno splendente . Caffè macchina e altre bevande molto in considerazione.Raccomando .

Room is good, breakfast is okay, nice area and service was really good thanks to Frederico and Marco for always being there and very helpful. The area is next to a really great park and if you work through you'll will find the Oeiras shopping mall. Lots of shops and eating opportunities

Abbiamo soggiornato tre notti nell'hotel, comodo da raggiungere in auto e con parcheggio sottostante la struttura. Ambienti puliti, camera spaziosa e funzionale. Ottima e varia la colazione a buffet. Devo fare comunque un appunto: arrivati in camera il primo giorno abbiamo trovato la cassafortina non funzionante perché senza pile; chiamiamo la reception e viene da noi una ragazza che ci informa che, mancando l'addetto alla manutenzione, non erano in grado di fornirci pile nuove e di aspettare il suo ritorno la mattina successiva. Di conseguenza, siamo stati costretti a girare il primo giorno per Lisbona portandoci dietro chiavi, soldi, documenti ecc. perché in hotel non si sono trovate delle pile o non si è trovata una soluzione per gestire il disguido. Pazzesco per un hotel a 4 stelle.

Eravamo molto a nostro agio. Il personale è molto cordiale e attento. La colazione è molto buona e completa. Vicino al centro e alla spiaggia. È possibile parcheggiare nelle vicinanze. Letti molto comodi.

Struttura a pochi chilometri da Lisbona ed a pochi passi dal lungomare di Carcavellos,edificio imponente camere ampie e con tutti i servizi degni di 4 stelle,personale gentile,ottima la cucina anche se servita esclusivamente a buffet,posizione strategica per visitare la vicinissima cascais e le altre belle località della costa di Lisbona.ottimi i collegamenti grazie ad un efficiente servizio taxi locale ed alla vicina stazione dei treni e dei pulman.
