Having had a fabulous stay at the hotel and having paid everything requested when we stayed, including clearly stating we had two small dogs and clearly stating we would pay for everything - and thinking all was in order - two months later with no warning, no message, no courtesy whatsoever, the hotel charged 100€ from my credit card. I assumed it was fraud as I couldn't imagine a 5 star hotel not having the common decency to let me know they had made an error on front desk when I paid my bill and had forgotten to charge me for something at the time which I would have course paid for gladly. I clearly referred to the dogs repeatedly and clearly offered to pay all costs at all times. Having had a great stay and even considering planning a 50th birthday party in the location I have just lost 2 working hours, had to cancel my bank card and order a new one - all because Cabodegata beach hotel slyly took money from my credit card like a credit card fraud without informing me. I genuinely assumed it was a fraudulent transaction. I am beyong disappointed and dismayed and it has left a very sour taste in my mouth. I will sadly never return. This i not even the behaviour of an inexperienced one star hotel.
