Hotel in zona Almeerderstrand, Almere

Hotel moderno fuori dal centro ma comodissimo per visitare la città. In 5 minuti a piedi si arriva alla fermata del tram 26 che in 15 minuti porta direttamente al capolinea alla stazione centrale. L'hotel è in una zona residenziale molto tranquilla direttamente sul mare. I prezzi sono più contenuti rispetto al centro e sicuramente il livello della camera è più alto rispetto allo stesso prezzo di un hotel in città. La nostra camera era dotata di bollitore per il thè e macchinetta del caffè con cialde. Vicino all'hotel, a poco più di 300 metri ci sono tre ristoranti. Noi ne abbiamo provati due molto buoni : KOH (Kitchen Of Happiness) che fa cucina asiatica e il DOK48 che invece fa da birreria e ristorante (hamburger ,piatti di carne e qualche piatto anche vegetariano). La colazione in hotel costa 17 euro a persona ,abbiamo deciso quindi di non acquistarla. In centro è possibile fare colazione in tantissimi posti ma se la si vuole fare in zona hotel c'è un forno che fa anche caffetteria e ha dei tavolini a 950 metri a piedi dall'hotel (De bakkersfiets) - un the + un cappuccino+ 3 fette di pane burro e marmellata+2 brioches 14 euro scarsi. Oltre l'hotel a poco più di 200 metri (proseguendo la strada e tenendo il mare sulla destra) c'è un supermercato che abbiamo scoperto l'ultimo giorno per cui non siamo entrati ma da fuori sembrebbe grande. Riassumendo,hotel è strategico per visitare la città e godersi anche un po' di pace lontano dal centro .

La Stanza: abbastanza grande e pulita, il letto è abbastanza comodo ma migliorabile. Vista 5 stelle ! Nella stanza è presente macchina da caffè Nespresso e bollitore più una serie di tisane qualora servissero sono a disposizione. Ottima la colazione. Il personale professionale e disponibile. Ottima posizione tranquilla la sera si dorme bene. Doccia fantastica, shampoo e bagno doccia sono forniti. Connettività WiFi stabile e veloce. Alcune info utili: - Per andare in centro ci vogliono 10/15 minuti di tram N.24. Comodissimo, la fermata è a pochi passi da Hotel. - Nel caso in cui serva il parcheggio a bordo strada è gratuito dalle 19 alle 9, poi è parecchio costoso. ottima alternativa è il parcheggio proprio dietro l'albergo costo massimo 7.5€/giorno. - Per cena non ci sono molte soluzioni, solo ristorante di fronte all'albergo (non proprio a buon mercato) la cui cucina chiude alle 22. dopo le 18.30 è difficile cenare. - Reception aperta fino alle 23 in settimana ed h.24 il venerdì e nel week end.

Tutto perfetto. Hotel nuovo e molto pulito, situato davanti alla metro Arena, in 15/20 minuti si arriva in centro ad Amsterdam, ed in 15 min si arriva direttamente in aereoporto. Belle camere molto pulite, staff sempre gentile e disponibile. Colazione continentale, manca forse per il gusto di noi italiani l espresso vero e qualche torta. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo, consigliato.

I had to say for a month stay at the Yays Docklands in March 2024. There were some positives and not so positives about my stay, so let's get started: Positives Apartments are spacious (I stayed in a 2 bedroom one), you'll find kitchen utensils, microwave, fridge, coffee maker (Nespresso) so this will help save on restaurant bills. Rooms are comfy enough with a full bathroom and you'll find shampoo and shower gel upon arrival so no need to bring along unless your skin type requires a specific one. I found the shower temperature to be fine yet it would suddenly get slightly colder during the course of a shower for no particular reason. Wifi does work (my Zoom calls went uninterrupted except for a day where wifi did not work for over 24 hours, no apologies nor previous advice from Yays), you can connect your phone to the TV, which you'll find one wall-mounted one in the main bedroom in addition to the living room. Yays is mostly used by tourists or, as me, people staying for weeks at a time, so it's very quiet during the day, I worked from the apartment a few days and I was perfectly able to enjoy the silence. There's a nearby street (Borneostraat) which is multiethnic and where you'll find great Turkish coffee, authentic baklava and many interesting restaurants. I encourage you to explore this street. Not so positives Location is a bit removed from downtown, however that's a matter of perspective. You can get to Central Amsterdam in about 15 to 20 minutes so it all depends on your particular preference. You can go there by tram, bus or even train (this one I'd discourage as it takes some walking or bus/tram). If you need some grocery shopping done, your closest supermarket is about 1 km away so be prepared to walk and carry your groceries with you. Staff at Yays is not responsive, cleaning arrangements are modified which is rather inconvenient and the cleaning crew don't bother to check if you're running low on gel or shampoo. All in all, I think the positives outweigh the not so positives, mostly if you're only staying for a few days as you'll most surely spend most of the time exploring Amsterdam and surrouding areas. Would I stay at the Yays again?: if I can find a better located alternative then no, I would not just for the convenience factor. Tip: Ask for a room located on a high floor, views will be better and you'll be more removed from the street noise (nothing to be concerned about, just one club located next to the Yays which operates Friday and Saturday evenings but the noise coming from it is very light). La posizione, ideale per raggiungere il centro di Amsterdam: tram numero 26 che in 3 fermate collega con la Central Station e tram numero 7 che in dieci/quindici minuti porta verso del Rijkmuseum e del quartiere Jordan. Camere confortevole, di buone dimensioni, molto silenziosa e con ottima qualità dei materassi. Staff molto cortese, sia alla reception che gli addetti alla colazione. Colazione completa sia per quanto riguarda il salato che per dolci/frutta (unica cosa da migliorare la qualità del caffè).

La stanza stessa è mal isolata, le utenze nella stanza fanno molto rumore, specialmente l'idromassaggio. La funzione di pulizia automatica è iniziata nel cuore della notte provocando un piccolo infarto. Oltre a ciò non c'erano capsule di caffè nella stanza all'ingresso. Ho anche notato un capello nella vasca idromassaggio (immagine fornita come prova), l'ho pulito da solo. La sauna è ok ma molto rumorosa. Il software TV è obsoleto e non fornisce app. Non lo consiglierei per il prezzo in tutta onestà.

We enjoyed our stay in this charming hotel in picturesque Edam. The rooms are quite small but clean and cosy. The only downside is that the walls are thin so you might hear your neighbours. Luckily our neighbours weren't party people so it didn't bother us. The restaurant served good food and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The local rooster greeted each morning with a serenade and the ducks in the canal loved to be treated with seeds and some bread. It was all very idyllic and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
