Ristrutturata da poco nello stile locale questa bianca "Hospederia" country shic ha in Raul un padrone di casa attento ai bisogni dell'ospite. Stanza nuovissima con letto comodo, aria condizionata e asciugamani di qualità. Colazione con mix di succhi di frutta freschi e ogni mattina differenti, dolci tipici gustosi e la giusta spiegazione delle specialità locali quali formaggi, pane fatto in casa, olio (strepitoso). Il dehor è caratterizzato da una piscina rotonda di buona dimensione, sdraio e ombrelloni sempre a disposizione. Alle pareti esterne attrezzi agricoli restaurati in modo artistico ed originale. Gli interni ospitano invece opere in metallo in mostra create da un artista locale per me di grande pregio al punto che, una volta conosciuto personalmente, ne ho acquistate ben due. La struttura si trova a pochi chilometri da Priego de Cordoba e Acala La Real ed a un'ora e venti da Cordoba, tutte mete da visitare. Esperienza assolutamente positiva. La consiglio vivamente. This small hotel is superb. The host is very helpful; he tries to ensure we see everything one should see in the area. He serves the best breakfast we have had in Spain. All food is eco friendly and ecologically sourced and grown. The selection of olive oils is carefully chosen from the best in the region. The hotel is filled with old rural artifacts used by farmers and is wonderful to explore. Rooms were spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Ten out of ten for this very special host and his hospederia. Diana W.

La Era is an elegant hotel in lovely Almedinilla. My husband and I stayed for a few nights during a recent walk/hike in Andalucia. Our room provided the comforts of home and a place to rest - it was extremely clean and well appointed. The bed and pillows very comfy. Bottles of water and glasses. A view of the city below and the surrounding hills. La Era's ambience reflects a love of beauty, of family with a style of understated luxury. A peaceful environment. The food was absolutely fantastic! Simple but flavorful and very fresh, served with style, made with love. It is obvious that Raul loves to prepare food. Raul was a gracious host and made sure we had everything we needed.

Wonderful! La Era is a unique and lovely place to stay in Almedinilla, Spain. Perfect for getting away from it all, hiking and exploring the hill towns nearby. Raul is an impeccable host. He was very helpful in planning our stay and responsive to any needs. We had a lovely breakfast each morning and a delicious dinner at the hotel on the last night of our stay (by prior arrangement). I highly recommend La Era if you are looking to experience the Andalusia region.

What a wonderful B&B this is! Let me start with the whole premises, which is fantastic. It's a beautiful old house, large hallways and rooms, a nice cellar where breakfast and diner are served and brings on an amazing atmosphere! The host Raul is a very kind and generous person and a wonderful chef also! A few times a week you can join for dinner, which was a feast and a must do! Breakfast same story, lovely organic food, what more can you wish for! A very large pool, totally clean accommodation complemented our truly lovely stay at Raul! Fantastic stay at Hospederia la Era. Food was amazing, some of the best we have had in Spain (goats cheese and honey cheesecake, the best we have ever had anywhere in the world). Raul also one of the best hosts. Room was spotless. A lovey rural Spanish hotel.

What a fabulous find - Almedinilla is a lovely small village off the beaten track and Hospederia La Era was such a great venue to base ourselves from - spacious rooms, Raul is an incredible host and breakfasts were divine. Lovely pool area for relaxing and in walking distance to a few of the local restaurants - highly recommended.

Visiting Almedinilla was the perfect escape from city tourism. Our hosts were so welcoming and helped us with everything from a local olive oil tour to biking around the area on their own bikes. With more time we would have taken the suggestion to enjoy breakfast among the olive groves with the vibrant owner of Knolive olive oil. Don’t miss their fresh made breakfast and multi course dinners. Clearly they have a passion for great local products and are happy to share their favorite local wines or olive oils with you. The town itself is delightful to walk and we enjoyed dinner out one night at a place recommended by our hosts. As a runner, I enjoyed jogging the quiet nearby roads among the fragrant olive groves and then lounging by the pool during the hottest parts of the day.

This was a lovely place and we stayed 4 days. The comfort, space and tranquility were wonderful and the breakfasts delicious. In late March there were no tourists and we loved eating out in the two inns in the village. However, we cannot give a fifth star because in the evenings when we came back from dinner the room was too cold. the heating only came on 1 evening out of 4 and it was bliss when it did. In late March, after hot sunny days the temperature dropped to little over freezing in the evening. We are elderly and we partly chose this place for late March because it has heating. One other thing, if you come by bus from Granada, don’t get off at the first bus stop in Almedinilla, as we did. Its 600 metres uphill pulling cases! Wait till the second bus stop when its only 200 metres downhill…
