Il servizio e la colazione sono deliziosi in questo affascinante hotel boutique/B&B nella città di Alcobaca. Il principale edificio è un vecchio edificio ben ristrutturato con mobili e toccature di periodo. È anche un moderno edificio vicino, che è dove siamo stati. La nostra camera e il bagno erano entrambi molto spaziose, ma il loro layout era un po' strano, e mancava la cucina e il fascino che immagino troverai nel vecchio edificio. Per esempio, la camera da letto aveva una regina piuttosto che un letto re, e un vecchio ”sacco di fame” che sembrava bellissimo, ma non pratico. E il bagno di marmo, il più grande che abbia mai visto, aveva un bagno di spa che dovevi salire, ma non c'era doccia separata, ma ancora una volta c'era un sacco di spazio per esso. e il servizio è stato fantastico - molto utile suggerimenti per una delle migliori cena che abbiamo avuto in Portogallo. Facile camminare verso ristoranti centrali e il monastero vicino. Grande posizione per esplorare altre visione come Obidos e Nazarre.

Small hotel in the countryside but only about 7 miles from Nazare the main resort nearby. Location is ideal if you like to dip into a resort, but you like peace and quiet in the evening. The hotel has beautiful views across the countryside to the sea. Stunning sunsets. The hotel has an infinity pool, spa and gym. The rooms are roomy enough ( there were 3 of us). Beds comfortable. Air con free and very good. Each room has a balcony area (it is a shared balcony that runs the length of the hotel) Ample free parking at the hotel. We stayed here for 12 nights (more than the average stay at this type of hotel) We paid for half board (dinner, bed and breakfast). We could choose what ever we wanted off the al a carte menu. A large bottle of water was included and one drink each eg soft drink or beer or glass of wine included with meal price. We got to know the staff in the restaurant who could not be friendlier. We also got to know the owners. They arranged with the chef different meals for us as they were concerned that we would get bored with the menu as we were there so long. The meals were delicious. Obviously they had no obligation to do that for us. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. They researched a few things for us. Overall the staff were friendly and could not do more for us. If you want somewhere to be away from it all and feel treated, this is the place. Plenty to explore in the area eg history, museums, historical towns. But you can be back on the tourist trail in a few miles if that’s what you want. The local small town Alcobaca has plenty of history, a huge monastery, local cafes. Yet also the usual supermarkets on the outskirts.

Estive no SPA mais famoso do momento em Portugal (1º fim de semana de fevereiro), um caos, excesso de gente, alguma desorganização no check-in, partilha de informação distorcida por alguns funcionários. Quando o motivo principal é usufruir de um espaço que proporciona relaxamento e bem-estar. Deveriam ter mais cuidado no que concerne à higiene e limpeza das piscinas, porque este ponto em particular trata-se de saúde pública. O complexo não sofreu limpeza entre o dia 03/02 e 04/02. Check-in apenas as 16h, ao aceder ao SPA já se encontra cheio. Sem espreguiçadeiras, sem sítio para colocar toalhas, um caos. Da maneira como está tudo organizado, a meu ver não vão longe. Existem muitos SPA espalhados por Portugal, mais pequenos, mas com excelentes condições de higiene e conforto. Uma desilusão...

Fantastic Hotel Spa, well designed and very spacious, located in small village with all services (kids park & futball pitch, sport area, all at walking distance from hotel). You can visit the magnificent monastery (at 5mn walk) ,and also go to nazare & alcobaca at 25mn, Lot of very good local restaurants in the village (burro velho has astonishing meat),

Moderno, spazioso, molto bel bar e ristorante con vista sulla città e sull'oceano. Situato su una collina sopra la città ma non a passeggiata dalla città, quindi bisogno di noleggio auto o taxi. Molto tranquillo. Bella camera. Cibo al ristorante in loco era buono.Colazione fornita. Solo due notti, ma poteva ottenere lavanderia e consegnate prima di partire in tempo utile.
