I generally like Hilton Garden Inns and they are usually my first choice when traveling. However, I didn't care for this one and won't stay there again. Unlike most other Hilton Garden Inns, this really wasn't a "garden-style" hotel. It was a high-rise with underground parking. The lobby wasn't on the first floor. You had to take an elevator up to the second floor to check in. And you had to use your room key to access floors. It was also in a congested area. None of these qualities are positives, for me. Despite all of that, upon entering I was pleased to find a Starbucks conveniently located in the same building -- on the first floor, as well as a restaurant. But my pleasure quickly turned to disappoin**ent my first morning when I went to the Starbucks at opening time, only to find an employee sitting on the floor, locked outside, because whoever was supposed to open had overslept and wouldn't be arriving for another hour and a half. As for the restaurant that was on the first floor, it was basically a sports bar with a limited menu of food that turned out to be mediocre, at best. But, I guess when you're traveling and tired, it'll do in a pinch.
