Albany: hotel con bar

L'hotel è stato scelto per la sua vicinanza al terminale dell'allenamento, più vicino alla marina che al centro della città, che ci ha adattato bene, soprattutto quando siamo arrivati in pioggia. Siamo stati in una parte tranquilla del motel e abbiamo pagato quello che abbiamo visto in vista di fronte ad altri hotel/motelli, che sembrava troppo alto ($144/night).La nostra camera era grande e aveva tutte le strutture di base, tranne per lo shampoo per capelli. Tutto quello che abbiamo era un piccolo pezzo di sapone ciascuno. Anche se tutto il resto era li', la stanza non aveva un senso di conforto. Tuttavia, se siete in città solo per una notte o due, probabilmente potreste fare peggio. Come già detto, l'hotel è abbastanza vicino alla bella marina (se vuoi andare a guardare le balene), e il centro di intrattenimento flash è anche in viaggio, anche se durante l'inverno non troverai molto divertimento. Vicino a un grande IGA, e anche alcuni ristoranti. Possiamo raccomandare un indiano appena fuori dalla porta posteriore. Se non hai una macchina, il resto della città, compreso il centro di informazione visitatori, è un po' di distanza. È anche un lungo passo verso il interessante Museo del Grande Sud, non ci sono stati molti visitatori in città mentre eravamo lì, e non ci sono state visite durante il giorno intero. Così abbiamo finito di assumere un taxi a un tasso orario fisso e siamo andati al Parco Nazionale di Torndirrup, che era stato speso bene, soprattutto dopo che la pioggia era finita. Non abbiamo avuto problemi con l'ispezione e l'uscita e potevamo anche lasciare il nostro bagaglio per qualche ora. Quindi, in tutto non era un cattivo soggiorno, ma l'alloggio non era abbastanza prezioso per i soldi.

We booked this accommodation purely based on the Ibis name , I wasn’t expecting a lot for $134 a night ,however as a bare minimum I did expect a real spoon and perhaps a microwave in the room ( because the restaurant is currently closed) the one spoon provided was a small disposable wooden spoon , something I have never ever seen in any motel anywhere, the hotel is quite dated and is also on a very busy road , there is lots of accommodation choices in Albany so I would not stay here again

Lovely place!! Staff were really helpful and friendly. The site was immaculate with everything you'd need. Restaurant was closed but that's because it's under new ownership apparently. Accomodation was great. Comfy bed, good shower and fully kitted out kitchen. Would definitely stay sgain if in the area.

Il nostro partner e io siamo stati qui in un tour di coach e siamo stati molto felici con il cibo e l'alloggio. La colazione era anche un buffet e tutti i pasti erano deliziosi e caldi. Il personale era amichevole ed efficiente e le camere erano spaziose e le letti super comodi. Una delle caratteristiche eccellenti era il giardino nativo. Absolutamente bellissimo. Se solo il nostro giardino a casa potesse sembrare come questi. Molto consigliato.

Last time I stayed here it was a long time ago with a boyfriend who I ended up being in a very long term relationship. I have since moved to Albany and lived there before moving to other areas. Finding myself wanting to visit for a couple of days, thought I would see how it has changed. Because of my history with the region, Dog Rock has always been my first choice of accommodation, now that I have stayed there, that has not changed. For those not in the know, it is named for the dog head shaped rock that appears to be sniffing the air. It is located right across the road by a lane leading to one of the city's shopping centres containing a Woolworths, Red Dot and a Leonards Chicken and a cafe as well as other shops. It does wear a collar which in reality is a paint to make it more visible to traffic and it was classified by the National Trust in 1973. The Motel is centrally located with one direction going into town, the other taking you to the end of the road being Middleton Beach. You have a wide variety of attractions very close to you as well as having a marvellous restaurant (Lime 303) which I have eaten at and reviewed on this website, should you care to have a further read. I had a room which I was well pleased with, up the back with a rear view of the bush, in front of me on my balcony I could see Mt Melville sweeping up into the sky. The room was spotlessly clean, very comfortable bed and it was quiet. There was a mini fridge with an assortment of refreshments within and a selection of tea and coffee sachets on the counter. The shower was excellent and the parking was plenty at the door. I had paid a little extra for a hot breakfast the next day which was well worth the price. (See attached pictures). There were foxtel on the tv which I enjoyed catching up on the movies I had not yet seen. The staff at reception were very personable, friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend anyone who was going to Albany to stay there.

Our room was absolutely fine. The bed was comfortable, the bedroom quiet/dark and the shower hot/powerful. The whole property was meticulously clean. Reception staff were very helpful. It was only a short drive to all the eating places in York Street. NB there is no restaurant on site (except for breakfast). You MUST walk along the board walk 80 metres above the ocean over by the wind farm. The views are stunning.

The experience was awesome, the service was best, clean rooms and toilets, the cleaner was so honest, i have left my Apple Watch while visited Albany when i came back the watch was still at the same place where i have left it. I am very impressed by service as well. I forgot to drop towels on the floor so they didnt change the towels, when i came back to hotel and i have noticed the towels didn’t change due to my misunderstanding the receptionist came and drop the cleaned towels in couple of minutes. The staff was amazing and the hotel location was awesome Highly recommend
