The World Backwaters, Alleppey

The stay at the  World Backwaters Resort in Allepy, was just perfect and the ambience was out of this world. Perfectly serene, calm and peaceful . We as a family including our kids and parents and had an amazing time . A surprise was that they upgraded us to a suite room. The staff were very professional,  caring and paid great attention to detail. Aswathy's mannerism with clients is truly commendable.  She ensured everything was planned for aur anniversary celebration,  making sure all the requests were catered for above and beyond what we had asked for. Of particular note was the way all the staff across the resort interacted and engaged with us. This was with utmost professionalism,  customer service and friendly nature. The rooms were fabulous.  Two massive bedrooms with a private pool. Our kids had a ball. All the amenities were of high quality . The villas itself were pristine and well kept. The cleanliness was of particular note. We had the buffet  dinner and lunch. It was delicious, multi cuisine and all the staff at the restaurant ensured that all needs were met. A bit shout out to executive chef Pratheesh who heads the kitchen for planning such an extensive menu . Something that was a stand out was how every cultural and age needs were taken into consideration while planning the menu. Sous chef Krishna Kumar made us a wonderful anniversary cake. It was delicious and just made our special day even more special. It was a true relaxing, splendid and amazing experience.  Highly recommend it for families with kids. The natural beauty of the backwaters was breathtaking and peaceful. 

We had a day out at The World Backwaters. It started off with cycling, basketball and badminton. All of us were most excited for riding the two seat bicycles. After this we enjoyed the breathtaking view of the vembanad lake having a beer. Boating was another highlight of the day after which we had lunch which was a widespread menu which included nadan delicacies, indian flavours and so much more. After this we had a fun time in swimming pool. We ended this fun day by having tea and snacks. Our dayout was planned in short time, thanks to Ashwati Nair who guided us throughout.

It was our best stay in Kerala .. The world backwaters team goes above nd beyond to fulfill guest's expectations. Hospitality was way too good. I will surely recommend others to opt for this resort. You will get luxurious facilities to be around. Resort is based on the banks of vembanad lake. Aswathy guides us very well from the initials till the end. Thanks for giving us the wonderful experience.

Great Hotel, amazing view and for family there are games, kids play area. Fantastic. Staffs were amazing , be it restaurant or hotel. Loved the entire place and if next time there is any plan surely gonna come back here. Cycling track and view.

Great place to stay for two ladies from Europe. Spectacular view of backwaters. Exceptional food in the restaurant. Very friendly and caring staff made our stay unforgettable. If it is possible I would give 10 stars for the whole stay! Thank you very much for this great experience!

Hospitality was outstanding. Especially the warmth and care we recieved from Ashwathy Nair is beyond words. Overall experience in resort was more than expectations. We had dinner and complimentary BF from Cheenavala which is again one of the best options available. Ashwathy arranged Shikkari boat as well.
