Very handy for the airport - about 20 mins drive. So great choice before or after a flight. Staff very friendly. The hotel is a series of single storey buildings in nice gardens. Nice area by the pool for a drink. Rooms slightly dated, and breakfast good not great.

Cute hotel, decent breakfast. Perfect for a one night stay before our flight to Panama. The dinner we had was good too. Would def recommend if in the San Jose area. The woodwork in the rooms was very nice and detail oriented! Each unit has a nice entrance area too.

The room and the bathroom are dated. The AC didn't work (room #1). Apart from that, we enjoyed our short stay there. Employees were all very friendly. The space around the pool is nice. The cat was also friendly. The ride to the airport was quick.

It was a great hotel for a stop over after getting off the airplane and staying over night before making the long ride to our place in Dominical. Staff was very accomodating, food was wonderful. The rooms were cute and bed, especially pillows, were comfortable. They arranged transportation also.

A very nice place to stop for the night. Close to the airport but nothing like a big airport hotel. We were a large group and everyone had their own little "cabin" The grounds were beautiful and there was a pool for the children and a small area to eat meals. Breakfast was included. It wasn't fancy, but it was clean and quaint and a lovely start to our vacation. My luggage was lost at the airport and was delivered in the evening after I had gone to bed. The night caretaker oversaw the delivery and my bag was waiting for me in the morning. I would definitely stay here again. Jessica, at the front desk was very responsive to any emails I sent to her.

We experienced very loud noise from the road next to the property at 6am, and we could hear every conversation happening outside our room.
Small property with only a few amenities.

We had a one night stay after a late flight into San Jose. Staff met us at the airport and were very quick getting us transportation to La rose. Very friendly and super helpful.
Breakfast was included and my family enjoyed it. We were travelling with four kids ages 7 to 13 and would stay here again.

Staff was not friendly they seemed bothered when we asked for anything extra during breakfast. And breakfast was repetitive everyday we stayed

We stayed here on our last night in Costa Rica as we had to be up early for our transfer to the airport. The staff are so incredibly friendly, the lady at check in was great, she was so smiley and warming! They also have a pool which was really refreshing and fun. We had dinner booked in the evening and we were the only ones there as we visited during the off-season. The only disappointment was that they didn’t cater very well at all for vegetarians. There were 2 salad options and 1 rice dish, when the rest of the menu is chicken or pork. This was really disappointing and we ended up just sharing some wedges, fries and garlic bread. To be fair, the fried and wedges are the best I’ve ever had!!! But it would have been nice to have an actual meal on our last night. The cabins/rooms are set up really nice on the paths, they’re little self-contained buildings rather than a hotel room which was really nice. The shower was nice and hot and the interior was nice too. There were lovely little finishing touches like hand painted walls interior and exterior which was lovely. All in all for the price, we had a great stay and would recommend this place for a stop if you’re in the area for the airport!
