Alexander House Hotel

A soli 25 minuti dall'aeroporto una cittadina molto piccola molto vicino alla spiaggia. Non ci sono ascensori in questo hotel, molti gradini su e giù e rampe ripide. Non proprio adatto a chi ha difficoltà a muoversi. Hotel pulitissimo e penuria di asciugamani e biancheria da letto puliti. Alcune stanze hanno ancora bisogno di essere rinfrescate perché sono vecchie all'interno. Soggiornare all inclusive Cibo buono ma ripetitivo. Il personale è eccezionale e molto disponibile. Bevande e liquori locali. Non molta scelta. L'inizio della stagione, quindi molti dei bar della città si stanno preparando. Il bar dell'hotel non è ancora aperto solo un piccolo snack bar dove prendi i tuoi drink. Se vuoi una vita tranquilla non c'è molto da vedere o da fare, quindi un'auto sarebbe utile. Solo pochi negozi locali con le nozioni di base. I vestiti non sono economici né le creme solari. I negozi vendono ordinatamente le stesse cose ma alcune strane boutique per donne. Ma le persone sono molto gentili e disponibili. Aggiornerò alla fine se la mia vacanza.

Tutto sommato è stata una vera delusione, sia l'hotel che la città stessa. Come altri hanno già detto, questo hotel è estremamente datato. Il personale fa del suo meglio, ma l'hotel necessita di una vera ristrutturazione e aggiornamento. Abbiamo prenotato su ******* una “camera con vista sul giardino”. Alla fine ci siamo ritrovati in una stanza nel seminterrato con quasi nessuna luce naturale che si affacciava su un muro! Apparentemente era una stanza "rinnovata". Era timido e gli era stata data una recente mano di vernice bianca (anche i mobili dipinti) e il bagno piastrellato. Abbiamo chiesto un'altra camera e ci hanno mostrato l'appartamento sporco e datato dall'altra parte della strada, ma abbiamo anche detto No, grazie a quello. Il cibo è semplicemente ok, niente di entusiasmante e bevande semplici offerte standard. È un po' come una mensa scolastica, a mio avviso. Se siete una famiglia con bambini piccoli e avete un budget limitato e le vostre aspettative non sono troppo alte, penso che forse questo hotel potrebbe essere adatto a voi se non pagate troppo o fate un buon affare con gelati, pizza e bevande all-inclusive sono ideali per i bambini. Altrimenti ci penserei due volte prima di prenotare qui. Agia Pelagia in sé non ha molto da offrire nemmeno in alta stagione e non ha alcun vero fascino.

Non è un hotel a 4 stelle. L'edificio e l'intero complesso sono molto antichi. tutte le stanze odorano di muffa. Condizionatore non funzionante. televisore molto vecchio. Cibo. anche se in abbondanza, sempre uguali e per nulla gustosi. essendo al mare ti aspetti di mangiare pesce o frutti di mare almeno ogni giorno. Non riceverai affatto. molte volte il cibo avanzato dal pranzo veniva riservato per la sera, ma non nelle condizioni ideali. quando sono arrivato al complesso, non assomiglia affatto alle foto in rete. non eravamo nemmeno sistemati lì. ci hanno portato a 200 metri dal complesso, in un appartamento estremamente vecchio e sporco.

This hotel did not live up to the advertised blurb by the travel operator, Love Holidays. Firstly, the rooms could have been more sparse, with the furniture required to be updated. The pictures needed to be updated, as the dining/cafeteria area was extremely basic. There should be air conditioning throughout the dining area, as the kitchen is situated close by, with all cooking smells adding to the extreme heat. There was little crockery and cutlery available at each sitting, and the tables needed to be cleared a lot quicker, leaving many tables cluttered with dirty dishes. Our party had to clear tables to continue the next course. Fresh Juices are squash alternatives, dispensed only at breakfast. One visit to the coffee machine is enough for one week. Many dishes were not labelled, so anyone with allergies would find it very difficult to choose their meal quickly, and it was very bland and repetitive. It also states that there are lifts within the building, but to our knowledge, they were unavailable to the guests. The swimming pool could be more user-friendly for strong swimmers and one of the smallest pools I have seen at a hotel for the number of guests. The minimum depth was 1.3 metres, but you had to use the only steps available at the deeper end, meaning that a non-swimmer couldn't even get in the pool for a cool-down—more toilets needed to be available around the pool and bar areas. Far too many steps and slopes made it difficult for those entering the hotel with their luggage to get to their rooms safely. There is no lifeguard around the pool which I found extremely bad when you have youngsters in the pool. There was a lack of sun loungers and umbrellas for the number of guests - no tables to sit at in the evening for a quiet drink after dinner, and the only seating was the sun loungers - never have I experienced this on travels before. The all-inclusive package only offers limited drinks and closes the bar at 11 pm. All local drinks are required to be paid for after this time. We will certainly NOT be returning to this hotel, which could only be called a 2-star.
