"The ryokan's location is strategic, just a 5-minute walk to Yubatake. Our stay was superb and amazing—the staff provided excellent service, and both the dinner and breakfast were delicious. The onsen was fantastic, though it is only available during selected hours and not 24/7. Additionally, there is a fee for the private onsen."

"Recentemente ho avuto il piacere di stare all'Hotel Tokinoniwa Onsen, ed è stata un'esperienza inoltrabile. Dalla mia arrivo, mi sono circondato in un senso di tranquillità e lusso che definisce un perfetto soggiorno giapponese ryokan. L'hotel si pone in modo insufficiente l'estetica tradizionale giapponese con i comfort moderni. Il processo di check-in era ben fatto e l'ospitalità durante tutta la mia visita era eccellente. La stanza di stile tatami era ben progettata, offrendo sia eleganza che comfort, e l’accento era il privato aperto sul balcone, dove potevo immergermi nell’acqua calda naturale, mentre godevo di una vista incantevole della natura circostante. L'atmosfera serena lo ha reso un'esperienza veramente rijuvenevole."

"Overall staying in this hotel was pleasant, and it was of great value considering the package had already included dinner and breakfast buffet. Regarding location, it was a bit far from the bus terminal by walking. It took us about 15 minutes, as the route by Google was not quite correct. The main entrance of the hotel was up on a slope, which was not as easy as we were carrying luggage. Remember to ask the front desk for the password of the back gate. It was a short cut route leading to the main shopping street and the Kusatsu Yubatake. The room was pleasant and clean, a bit too basic. There was only a socket near the tv wall, not close to the bed, which was a bit inconvenient. There was wide range of food in the buffet, with some interesting local dishes. Food was delicious. The hotel also offer free late night snack noodle, which worth trying too."

"坂道が多いところですが湯畑から平坦な道でお宿に向かえてとてもありがたかったです。お部屋については清潔感ある綺麗なお部屋でした。小物やインテリアが可愛いです！お部屋に温泉がついてるのは嬉しかったです！無料の朝ごはんも豪華でした。印象的だったのはお味噌汁が具がいっぱいで美味しかったです！お宿を出ると有名なお饅頭屋さん2件と、人気のプリン屋さんもあって名物巡りしたいならぴったりな場所だと思います。西の河原温泉も15分弱で歩いていけました。"

"It’s a bit hard to get to the hotel from bus terminal if u have luggage with u as it’s a downslope to get to the hotel. There’s also isn’t any lift in the hotel so we have to carry our luggage up to the second floor. We realised when we checked out that there’s actually locker for the luggage at the ground floor. There’s only one type of water in their public onsen which is kind of disappointing as we have high expectations since it is an onsen town. The onsen water however is good. We do feel some difference before and after onsen. There’s also free coffee & hot chocolate drinks right outside the onsen area. It would be better if there’s ice water in the onsen area as the water can get very hot & especially when there’s no cold tub there. The room however is spacious with comfortable bed. There’s also a foot bath located at the ground floor of the hotel right beside the breakfast area."

"房間很大，很乾凈整潔，服務很好，温泉酒店該有的設施大東館都有，衹有酒店有些年份了，有的設備不是近年的，但性價比高，有的房型可直接看到湯畑。前台工作人員熱情、耐心服務於語言不通的遊客，用翻譯軟件詳細介紹入住酒店後的須知和住客可享受的服務。酒店有接駁車，在長途巴士站和停車場接送客人來回，酒店距離大巴站步行5分鐘可達。衹住了一晚，因為小鎮上特色餐飲很多，訂房沒含餐，酒店還有的更多服務、餐食沒體驗到。大東館地理位置優越，就在湯細中心位置。草源温泉不愧為日本温泉的No.1，從觀景、品嚐當地美食，享受泡湯到觀看特色表演這些方面都讓遊客心情愉悦、流連忘返。"
