Hotel vicini a Pacific Avenue Reserve a Adelaide

Passare 4 giorni qui durante una bella scrivania. La stanza era al secondo piano, che era deludente, perché non c'era ascensore e non siamo galline da primavera. La camera da letto/di soggiorno era abbastanza buona. Il letto era comodo, il frigo lavorava, gli occhiali, tazze, piatti tutti in posizione. AC funzionava bene, ma era rumoroso. La stanza stessa è stata colpita dal rumore stradale; la stanza è stata vista sul principale (Portrush) strada fuori dal fronte. Ci siamo lasciati prima 10:00AM ogni giorno, la stanza è stata costruita nei primi due giorni, non è stata toccata al terzo. Non c'erano forniture per lavare i vostri piatti (spazzatura, tovagliolo, lavatrice di liquidi, ecc.) Il bagno era un po' di sacchetto misto, la doccia era a posto, ma un distributore di sapone era a metà legato al muro. Il portatore del bagno era tenuto insieme al tac blu (non molto bene, posso aggiungere). Non ci sono posti di parcheggio disponibili quando siamo tornati dopo mezzanotte a NYE. Nessuna camera ha un parcheggio dedicato. Dopo il quarto giorno di tempo caldo, i bin che erano stati posti vicino alle porte di entrata si rivoltorono. La peggiore parte dell'intera esperienza è stata tuttavia che la piscina è stata chiusa durante il nostro soggiorno a causa di alcune questioni di manutenzione non divulgate che il proprietario non aveva potuto correggere - mi raccomando - per un po'. Un altro positivo, che va menzionato, è il lavaggio (una lavatrice, una asciugatrice) gratuito.

The people working here could not be faulted - very friendly and welcoming. The place itself also presented well, with the room clean although in some areas a little worn. So, location - not bad. Outside the CBD, but frankly we are talking Adelaide so it's not that far out. It is basically an apartment block - no restaurant associated with it, so do not expect to be able to get dinner or room service, or for that matter a 'welcome drink' glass of wine if you are an Accor member. I did get some chocolate and two bottles of water, as well as a handwritten welcome note, so that was nice. On check in they did say that they normally do not service the rooms every day, but could arrange to do so if I wanted - and as I was staying for only three nights I said not to bother. Wifi - works, but not super fast (under 2Mbps down, 0.04 Mbps up). Maybe it was having a seniors moment whilst I was there, but be aware you may end up needing to use your mobile data for anything more than basic email. I had a room on the fifth floor - nice and large with two separate bedrooms either side of a lounge area, as well as a long balcony with some chairs and a table. As you walked into the room, the lounge was directly in front and to the left was the kitchen and to the right the combined laundry & bathroom. For a home away from home, this worked well. You can walk out the back and you are behind a Woolworths that is inside a small shopping area. There are a number of other shops in the centre from a cafe to BWS to a chemist - I wandered down and got some supplies from Woolworths to cover my dinner/breakfasts for the three nights I was staying. Outside the centre there was a restaurant or two and if feeling active, a McDonalds and other take away options about a 10 minute walk away. The kitchen had a full size fridge. It was clean and worked well, but there were some cracks on the inside. There was a bracket stuck to the outside of both the freezer and fridge compartment doors where no doubt they used to be connected to the external wooden door panel - but it would have been a little weird as the single wooden door would have meant when you opened the wooden door, both the freezer and fridge doors would open. Maybe that's why they separated them, or maybe it came from a different apartment. Anyhow, it meant that to access the fridge or freezer you need to open the large wooden door and then reach in the crack between the wall and the side of the fridge to grab the door and pull. Inside the fridge was a collection of those single shot UHT milk containers you could use when making tea or coffee, and speaking of which there was a nespresso pod machine with four unmarked pods (two gold, two brown - maybe decaf and normal? No idea.). The kitchen had a small induction top, oven & microwave oven, and dishwasher. The stove top did not work initially, until I found the separate power switch on the wall that turned it on. Ho prenotato l'hotel Enfield per un fine settimana, ho avuto una stanza Studio singolo e l'ho trovata perfettamente adatta alle mie esigenze. Il check-in è stato gestito bene. La camera era spaziosa con un comodo letto singolo, poi TV a schermo piatto e servizi di tè/caffè, credo che le camere sono state recentemente ristrutturate.. Una semplice colazione è stata inclusa nel prezzo. La bassa mano successiva è piccola ma ha un tappeto sotto quando si desidera immagazzinare le cose. Un piccolo cassetto tiene adeguatamente oggetti più piccoli. Ho trovato che non avevo un asciugamano, ma la Reception l'ha affrontata immediatamente. Il parcheggio in loco è un bonus. Mentre l'hotel è aperto tardi, non ho sentito alcun rumore dai bar. Non ho sentito nemmeno alcun rumore da altre stanze. La chiave della tua stanza elettronica apre anche la porta principale dopo le ore. Se te ne vai presto c'è una scatola per mettere la chiave in.Ero molto felice di rimanere qui e tornerei.

I suspect this motel has recently been taken over by its next-door neighbour and may be undergoing renovations. They're certainly painting outside. Hopefully they'll do the inside as well ... To check in, you have to go next door to the Adelaide Royal Coach. This wasn't mentioned at all during the booking process. It wouldn't be an issue if you didn't have to cross a road and wait for traffic lights to get there and back when checking in and out. Somewhat annoying. The room had everything you needed (aside from Wi-Fi - and you're told there's none when you make the booking). The bed was very comfortable. It was surprisingly quiet at night - even with the Fringe in full-swing. I expected a lot of traffic noise. The room definitely needs renovating. Shower curtain rather than screen, toilet seat that doesn't fit the toilet, etc. Any other location it would be about an $80 room. However, it's within easy walking distance of North Terrace, etc., which was the reason I chose it.

L'hotel è piuttosto nuovo e ben attrezzato e convenientemente situato a pochi passi dal centro commerciale di Rundle e dalla stazione ferroviaria. L'unica denuncia che ho è che l'acqua che si sdraia dalla zona della doccia può sovraffollarsi nella zona della toletta e entrare nel bagno. Oltre a questa questione minore, l'hotel è eccellente in molti aspetti. Il personale è responsabile e piacevole. Come nota laterale, il Club 129 si trova sulla strada e al contrario della stazione ferroviaria, serve un pasto decente con promozioni per tutta la settimana.

The room and staff were great. However, there were sounds coming from the ceiling fan in the bathroom, sounds which very much seemed like there were rats up there.

Very helpful staff and good value for money accommodation. Room was very tidy and bed was very comfortable. Showewr was roomy and plenty of hot water. Restaurant had good range of food and meal was excellent. Happy to stay there gain.
