Perfect room, clean hotel was not let into the restaurant because of age the restaurant manager, didn’t let us eat in the restaurant. We had to order room service instead, and there was tables in the restaurant the spa was okay, but the spa staff were making dirty looks on us and reception tried to charge us extra fees!

The hotel and setting are beautiful very comfortable. The food was very disappointing. Very expensive and poor quality.

I had my daughter’s birthday party there this morning (Saturday 4th Jan). It was my first time going there for a birthday party and I was so impressed. The location is fantastic. The treehouse was amazing and very private. Also, the food for the kids (I chose the afternoon tea) was just delicious and there was so much! Everyone was so well looked after. I absolutely have to give a special mention to the 3 girls that organised it- Saoirse, Mollie and Nadine. They were absolutely amazing at every turn. Everything was so well organised and the kids had a ball. They were incredibly kind, patient and lots of fun. Even getting stuff for the adults and myself they were just fantastic. Nothing was a bother and they couldn’t do enough to help. These girls are an absolute credit to you! Just the loveliest, most pleasant girls I have ever encountered in relation to kids parties. They made everything run so smoothly and it seemed effortless. Thank you again for such a lovely party!

We were passing through Adare today with our son (who has ASD) and stopped in the Woodlands Hotel for lunch. As soon as we walked into Timmy Macs, our son got overwhelmed with the noise, getting very upset and lashing out. Conor noticed and immediately came over asking what he could do to help and suggested we may want to move somewhere quieter. We gladly agreed! He checked with us first that tha area he was thinking of was okay with us before quickly setting up a table for us in a separate dining room, where our son got served quickly. Staff came to check on us regularly and nothing was too much trouble. So thank you Conor and to the other staff members involved 👏. Ye have no idea how helpful this was. We would have been leaving hungry only for you. (The food was lovely too). We also enjoyed ye're playground outside after eating!

Thanks so much to all the staff at the Woodlands for another fantastic visit. This time to see Santa and Mrs Claus. Wow were they amazing. We had such a super time. It was my son’s 6th Birthday. The surprise of balloons and treats in the room with a lovely letter from Santa blew us away. We had visited in late August and decided this was the place we wanted to see Santa and have a wonderful family experience. It was truly amazing. From start to finish. The Lamas, hot chocolates, games at dinner, dancing, Micky mouse and so much more. We all had a ball Grannies, Grandad and friends. We have recommended to all our friends. Thanks again to all the fantastic staff that make the Woodlands such a lovely place to stay. Can’t wait to return again soon.

Hi David and Co, Just wanted to say thank you all so much for everything last Saturday. Everything was absolutely perfect. Received so many compliments from the food to the service to the Christmas decor. Thanks for making sure everything went off within the time frame, that meant an awful lot to us.  And thanks for the anniversary voucher, a very nice touch. We celebrated our group Christmas party at the wonderful Woodlands House Hotel & Spa. The atmosphere was brilliant, dining room warm, very comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The food was exceptionally good, and the fresh vegetables from Mary's organic garden tasted delicious. Lunch was served by very professional and friendly staff. Heartfelt appreciation to Elaina, Monica & all the team who made our day very enjoyable. You're simply the best! You have painted our souls with vibrant memories.

Couldn't have chosen a better location for our wedding. David, Elaina and the staff from the day we met them were amazing from the first day we met them. Couldn't possibly have asked for more from everyone there. Couldn't have been more helpful and attentive. All our guests raved about the service & the food they received and how smooth and seemless the day went (thanks to the staff)! Everything was perfect. We regularly visited in the lead up and the Lunch / Dinners were great, the chicken & mushroom vol au vents are amazing as is the Baked Alaska!

"We had an incredible time at Fitzgerald's Woodlands Hotel! Our two families, with a total of seven children, were warmly welcomed into spacious two-bedroom suites. The festive atmosphere began with mulled wine and hot chocolate, and the kids loved meeting the friendly llamas. Dinner was a hit, offering a wide range of options for both kids and adults. The evening entertainment kept everyone engaged, with bingo, a table quiz, karaoke, and discos. The kids were thrilled with their gift bags, Santa letters, and selection boxes. Breakfast the next morning was a feast with plenty of choices. The leisure center pool and pet farm added extra fun to our stay. The staff's friendliness and helpfulness made our visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for a family getaway!"

The Woodlands Hotel is a wonderful destination, Full of charm and character. It really is a fabulous place, I go for the Monday Country Night, which is an amazing venue. There's always a buzz around this building. Their Spa is so relaxing, not too mention their amazing food in the Bistro. I stayed over an extra night, and I saw 🤶 Santa's Grotto, magical. The staff are so professional and warm and friendly, you don't get this in a lot of hotels. I couldn't finish without touching on the most comfortable beds in Ireland . Thank you to the Fitzgeralds Woodlands.

Where does one start from dealing with and entering the hotel it was just fantastic. I would like to thank so much Monica as in my eyes. She was just fantastic she was so kind to my nieces son Darragh, and to all our family, she was amazing and so kind and extremely helpful. Our stay was brilliant the food was excellent and the food in the tree house too . We will definitely be going back we just loved it from start to finish. There’s something about the Woodlands that always makes me feel like I’m at home and that’s down to all the staff. A huge thank you to David, Elena, Monica and Adam and all the staff that we met during our stay at the Woodlands. The hotel has something for everyone whether you're coming as a couple, a family or own your own. The rooms are lovely, the beds are so comfortable and the food! Can't wait to visit again!

We stayed for 2 nights at the hotel whilst visiting family over in Ireland and honestly I’m so glad we chose this hotel. Check in was seamless room was ready as soon as we arrived. We had a room with 2 bedrooms (one had bunk beds for the kids) when booking I mentioned we were coming over to celebrate my husbands birthday and when we arrived there were balloons & a sweet treat for my husband. Such a wonderful gesture. So much there to do for the children - petting farm, playground, fairy trail, kids club. A Halloween trail. The kids club was amazing my 10 year old & 5 year old both really enjoyed. They went a few times, lots of arts & crafts, movies & snacks and great staff. Lovely swimming pool also. The first night we ate in one of the cabins in the treehouse what a really unique experience and the second night we ate in the restaurant. Food was really great all round including a very great breakfast menu (buffet & able to order off of a menu) Just an all round stunningly beautiful hotel - we will definitely stay here again.
