Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean rooms. Ideal location for bars and restaurants, all within walking distance. Also great location for shopping.

Great stay

Spotlessly clean, lovely comfortable bed, everything you could possibly want. Sadly we only stayed one night. The lady at the front desk was so helpful. We had been let down by The Residents at the Marriott at the last minute (9:10am on the morning of our stay) but the lovely people at ******* found the Royal Athenaeum suites for us and I really couldn’t have asked for better. Would highly recommend

Great place. Check-in was perfect. The receptionists noticed we had a lot of shopping, so she checked us into a bigger apar**ent, which we were very grateful for as we had more shopping to do. 1st floor apar**ent with views over to the Chris**as Village. Plenty of room for us both with adequate cooking facilities it had everything you would need for self catering. We did eat out but were very happy to find tins in the cupbpard with tea coffee augar and milk in the fridge. Amazing comfortable bed and pillows. Loved the underfloor heating in the bathroom. the large shower was amazing. Considering the location of these apar**ents, we were not disturbed in the night with people passing pr coming out the ****** in the early hours. Will definitely recommend it to fellow Shetlanders and look forward to returning

We have stayed in this location on several occasions. The serviced suites are to be recommended & we usually try to stay in the same one. The location is excellent - central & close to some of the historic architecture in the city. On previous reviews I have mentioned the state of the windows - those overlooking Union Street are absolutely filthy outside. Clean them please!!!!!

Enjoyed our stay, was nice to get away for a break. Did find someone’s perfume and clothes label in the room. The sponge we received for cleaning our dishes had already been used by someone. Considering the price for a night which I’d say is a little high you’d think every apar**ent would have new sponges for new residents. Considering all of this I would return to the apar**ents as this isn’t my first time staying with yourselves and I do love the apar**ents. Staff are a bonus as they were all very polite and kind.

Very accommodating when we had been refused our booking at the Siberia Hotel basically for being English. Turned out to be a good thing. Immaculate, well equipped room and friendly helpful staff

Really nice large, well appointed rooms and very modern. Could not get a better location right in the thick of it all. The bell ringing from the tower certainly makes sure you don't sleep in. Numerous bars and restaurants very close. Definitely a winner.
