First time trying Dormy Inn after seeing several Instagram reviews. Indeed the experience was nice - free yakult in morning and ice cream from noon to evening. Also the free ramen from 930pm. The room though small but the pillow was so firm and nice to sleep.

I love the well design room, the complimentary ramen for supper, and the public bath facilities. The hotel is about 15 mins walk from the train station and there are many eateries close by. The room is considered quite spacious for 1 person.

New nice , near to convenient store & market.

Great place for a stay over. Surrounded by eateries. Onsen is great. Ramen at night and Yakult provided in morning. Room size small. Just bring over night back to room if possible. Not big luggage.

Difficult to reach hotel contact. I left my glasses in hotel after check out/left. I sent email to hotel address, but no response so far. Room size is a bit small and has limited car park space. Restaurant has not dinner offers.

Very comfortable and excellent hotel. Parking place available and a wonderful breakfast. Superb Onsen accessible for hotel guests. Highly recommended

It was a typical Dormy Inn hotel, room was equipped with essentials but small. There was a convenience store opposite which should be sufficient. Breakfast was very good.

The Dormy Inn is a chain 3-star onsen hotel that you can find across Japan. This is the first one I have stayed in but it certainly won't be the last! The one in Abashiri is situated on the river between the train station and bus terminal, both of which will be useful for getting to and exploring Abashiri. Reception is on the ground floor and you need a keycard to access any of the higher levels of the building. The onsen and sauna are on the top floor and are split by gender. The onsen part has both indoor and outdoor parts. The hotel rooms come with a comfortable (and softer, for Japanese standard) bed with a desk, telephone, television, reading light, etc. that you would expect in a Japanese hotel. It has slightly more space than other, comparable hotels. I stayed a week in mid-July 2024 and would happily stay here again! The staff were courteous, all the signs were in at least English and Japanese (and often also in simplified Chinese and Korean), and everything was very clear. I had no problems or issues of any kind. I did not eat breakfast at the hotel, so I am unable to provide any feedback on this topic. Conclusion: I will happily stay at this and other Dormy Inn's in the future.

good location and very convenient to the traveller no matter they took the JR or rent a car. The room was small and i dont like the self check in at the front desk. the parking lot was small and sometime it ran out of carpark. Breakfast was good with variety choice.

Service is very good

Superb location, just 3 minutes walking distance from Abashiri Bus Terminal. There's free ramen every night 9.30pm to 11pm. I've never seen such thing being offered by other hotels. Check in and check out experience is good. The hotel uses an automated machine to facilitate check in and check out process, which is also assisted by the hotel receptionist. Room size is a little small, I wished the room size could be larger as it is difficult to open luggages.

Good location really close to the bus station and a large BASIC supermarket open until 9. Photo attached of sunrise from room window. A great hotel but usually out of my price range. The main risk is an overcrowded onsen which together with the very variable pricing make this Dormy a better low season pick than high season.

Good location and good view. But the restaurant is really too small.
