I recently had the pleasure of staying at Cebu R Hotel, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me with warm smiles and impeccable service. The lobby had a contemporary design, setting a welcoming tone for my stay. The location in Cebu City is ideal, with easy access to local attractions, restaurants, and shopping, making it perfect for both leisure and business travelers.
To my delight, I was upgraded to a spacious suite featuring a luxurious bathtub. The room was elegantly decorated, combining modern amenities with a touch of local charm. The plush bedding and ample space provided a perfect retreat after a long day of exploring the city. Brand new economical whimsical hotel that my children love right in the middle
Of the city. Have big indoor slide, giant tik tac to game, gym with new equipments, a basketball ring, a gallery, someToys available also. There’s a small pool inside the hotel, but since there’s a construction nearby, not to compromise safety, they’ve closed off the pool with the Citadines infinity pool as alternative. Famous Local Sunburst & a grocery & other interesting restaurants is conveniently beside the hotel. Queen room was small, but very clean & great interior. Water dispenser is available in the aisle & a pantry too, if you wanted to have a meal outside instead in the room. Rate of S$63 came w set breakfast for 2 that was prepped made to order at an open kitchen by very perky chefs. Washer/Dryer onsite too. Hammocks are also at guests’ disposal. Their dining area also are to note. We were attended to at the Front Dest by Jules, really friendly & accommodating guy that my kids weren’t shy talk to. And the place smells like bubblegum. 🥰 Be back soon with more family. Thanks, we loved our stay!

L'hotel è molto nuovo, ma una gran mancanza di cose necessarie nella stanza, nessun tavolo o sedia nella stanza, molto piccola stanza e nessuna tavola da letto ogni volta che si infila il retro nel letto di parete si muoverà avanti, nessun bidet nella stanza di bagno per pulire, Nessuna caldaia o caffè fornita, 2 piccoli flaconi d'acqua fornita. AC funziona bene non diviso ma ancora controllare remoto, un po' rumoroso. Quando ho controllato, mi è stato detto che se si porta cibo dall'esterno e si mangia in zona da pranzo si paga 250 peo. il personale è utile. il suo prezzo è quello dell'altro hotel.

It is spacious and clean. However, the shower head is not working. There’s a little soap, but no shampoo. The TV doesn’t seem to work as well. The WIFI connection sometimes lagged. When I messaged the hotel to inquire for an early check in I got no response nor email reply or text reply from them.. But so far just fine, since we only stayed there for a night. If you are looking for something with complete hotel accessories and amenities then this isn’t for you. But if you are just going to drop by for a night then this might do good.

Now let’s talk about their pools, hotel view and breakfast. Breathtaking!!!!
Pool staff were great on both pool location (4th and 5th floor). Buffet breakfast has all that you can ask for. The view from room to pool, to gym to main restaurant are spectacular! You will have a view of the ocean, the city lights, the bridge and the mountains. Just an amazing location.
Staff were super helpful all the way down to finding the right mode of transport when we checked out.
This hotel will now be our go to accommodation preference for Cebu.

UUtente ospiteWonderful place for a weekend getaway! Shangri-la was the perfect option for a weekend of sun, beach, and nice memories with my family - my kid just loved the pool area! Very comfortable room, an excellent breakfast with lots of options at Tides restaurant - try to avoid having breakfast around 08:45 - 09:15 am, we had to wait for 15-20 minutes to be seated. The Italian restaurant Acqua is a great option - the tagliatelle alle vongole was superb! We hope to come back soon!

KKurzaAbbiamo soggiornato per 4 notti e siamo stati felici con la camera, colazione, personale, servizio in camera e servizio generale che l'hotel offre.
L'unica cosa che pensiamo possano migliorare è la palestra. Era troppo caldo all'interno e la temperatura non può essere cambiata. L'attrezzatura può essere anche più, poiché 2 palestra non sono sufficienti per la dimensione dell'hotel. Una mattina, mia moglie e io non potevo correre perché c'era qualcun altro nella palestra, ma se avessero più attrezzature, sarebbe stato possibile.
Tuttavia, di solito ci siamo divertiti e torneremo quando saremo a Cebu.

TTable_for_3We just returned home from Crimson Resort and Spa Mactan. It was our first time in Cebu. It was a short but great trip.
The highlights:
Accommodations: We chose Crimson because we frequent high-rise hotels when traveling and decided this time we wanted a villa/bungalow type of room. No hallways and no elevators. Crimson checked those boxes. They also accommodated our requests for a king bed and first floor room.
Activities and amenities: Our daughter loved Crimzone and the children’s pool. It was hard to get her to leave. The Saturday foam party was fun and the pool staff were engaging. My wife and I both availed the spa and wow, we can see why they won an award for Best Value in Asia. The price was affordable while the quality of service was top-notch.
Food: The buffet breakfast was good and had a lot of variety. My favorite item was the fruit and veggie smoothies. Who knew bakchoy and mango blend well together? But it was the attentive staff that really made breakfast a great experience. We tried the 24-hour room service and I swear the chicken club sandwich was one of the best I’ve had in my entire life 5/5!
The lowlights:
Here are some reasons why we are not giving Crimson an excellent review.
1. Overpriced/low quality food in Saffron during ala carte dinner. Our first night we arrived in the evening and were hungry. For two people (our daughter is a toddler) we paid over 5000php for an appetizer, 3 entrees, one beer and one bottle of water. Honestly, the price would be ok for this amount of food if the quality was better. I would suggest Aka or Enye for higher quality food although we didn’t try either. Saffron was empty that night and we found out why.
2. Distance to places/sites. Crimson is quite far for shopping or eating at other restaurants. We hired a private car for 3 hours and was only able to visit two sites and one pasalubong store. Luckily it was only moderate traffic on that Saturday. 2500php for a sedan for 3 hours was reasonable.
3. The gift shop is waaaay overpriced. 950php for a small tube of sunblock seemed very high even at a resort. We also wanted some souvenirs, but there wasn’t much variety at all.
4. Our room needed some TLC. The paint in the nice tub was chipping, the caulking in the showers could use a refresh and there was a huge ipis (roach) in the closet. Luckily we spent most of the time outside the room.
5. No floaties or life vests for toddlers to use, even for rental. Despite having almost everything else, this would have been a nice touch.
6. We came to Cebu for mangoes and lechon, but Crimson didn’t offer these items and again, because of distance, it would have been nice to have some at the hotel.
The bottom line:
We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to others, however we would give them our full review so they are aware of the pros and cons.

AAttapongLa stanza che abbiamo trovato era una stanza a chiave con vetro chiaro, che permetteva alle persone dall’esterno dell’edificio di vedere all’interno completamente durante la serata, il che potrebbe portare a una mancanza di privacy, ma la stanza è dotata di una cassaforte per le proprie proprietà.
Il personale di accoglienza e la custodia erano amichevole e molto utile, che era un'accentuazione che ha reso il nostro soggiorno caldo e confortevole. Tuttavia, il servizio di colazione ha bisogno di miglioramento. La preparazione dei piatti a un tempo ha causato un buco durante le ore di picco. Abbiamo aspettato il colazione per oltre 45 minuti e, in ultima analisi, non abbiamo potuto mangiare perché il cibo non era ancora pronto. Se l'hotel potesse affrontare questo problema, sarebbe sicuramente un luogo attraente per tornare. La posizione è conveniente, vicino a un centro commerciale, negozi e ristoranti. Anche se la strada può essere buia tardi di notte, si è sentita sicura e non pericolosa. L'hotel ha vantaggi in servizio e posizione, ma il servizio per colazione dovrebbe essere migliorato per migliorare il soggiorno.

JJIANWe stayed in a room on the 8th floor of the Palm building, The view is very spacious, and you can see planes taking off one after another from the distance. There is a drying rack on the balcony for hanging swimsuits, which is a very practical design.
The water park is very suitable for children, the rooftop bar is very relaxing, and the drinks are delicious. The Earth restaurant offers Chinese cuisine with large portions. In the photos, we ordered small portions. The staff at both restaurants are very enthusiastic.
However, the downside is that we had to wait a long time for the room, and we didn’t get the room card until nearly 3:30 p.m. After a long journey, this was a very frustrating process. Additionally, there was no hairdryer in the room, and it took three phone calls before one was finally delivered, which was also a negative experience.

В номере был чайник, холодильник, приветственный кофе и даже чай. На этаже в постоянном доступе питьевая вода в кулере. Напор и температура воды в душе - хорошие. Сушить вещи после моря можно на заднем дворе под крышей (постоянная защита сохнущей одежды от солнца или дождя). Нам понравилось, берег близко. На фото-вид с крыши отеля.

The breakfast selection was varied and delicious, featuring local and international dishes that appealed to all palates. While everything was close to perfect, a minor improvement could be enhancing soundproofing in the rooms to block out occasional street noise. Nonetheless, this did not significantly detract from my overall experience.
I highly recommend the Tsai Hotel and Residences to anyone visiting the area. It offers excellent value for money, a prime location, and impeccable service that guarantees a memorable stay. I am looking forward to returning on my next trip!
