As nice a hotel as anyone would want to stay in while visiting Tokushima on the island of Shikoku. Terrific service, clean facilities and room, an amazing bonus free onsen (hot springs), a very well equipped gym which is a bit rare in Japan and the property is located right in the middle of town next to the central train and bus stations. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars in the neighbourhood as well as a shopping centre across the road and lot's of small shops nearby. Upon first arriving, the entrance is a little tricky to locate so be sure and follow the instructions that will come with the booking confirmation.

Overall facilities, food, services were awesome. Amazing services provided to us: complimentary ride to vine bridge, waterfall due to early arrival to hotel. Assisted to our train schedules for our next destination, offer treats for our long journey. Mailing postcard service. All staff demonstrated professional and courtesy attitude to their guest. Room Tenjin with open air bath is excellent, definitely recommended. Enjoy our stay. We would like to see bus schedules to be improved by increasing more buses run to and from the hotel; or arrange free hotel shuttle to and from Oboke Station, if required.

Un luogo davvero meraviglioso per stare nel cuore della valle di Iya. Abbiamo avuto un benvenuto molto caldo, e la nostra camera tradizionale giapponese era grande con il proprio bagno caldo su un balcone privato. Il cibo è eccezionale, sia in gusto che in presentazione. Ogni membro del personale era molto attento e si è allontanato dal loro modo per soddisfare le esigenze di dieta di mia moglie. Il personale è arrivato persino a sbatterci quando siamo partiti. Molto raccomandato. Abbiamo avuto un soggiorno meraviglioso per 2 notti.

My husband and I are both 70yo from Australia. We had a wonderful experience. Our room was traditional, large and comfortable. Having use of a Onsen on-site was a bonus, robes provided aswell. Our Japanese breakfast, our first was delicious. The lady owner was very kind and helpful. No Japanese for us and no English for her, google translate got us both through. Highly recommended.

Great food, great onsen We stayed in a two-storey cottage, great for having a group of friends staying! The staff even gifted me an indigo bag and a greetings in English at the end of our stay Feel so warm and being cared in this hotel Hope more people can see the warmth in Shikoku’s people ☺️🤍
