Regione di Karlovy Vary, Repubblica Ceca: hotel terme

Very good. I could check in even at 11 in the morning, instead at 2 pm. The room was small, but perfect for solo traveller. Plenty of the SPA facilities, friendly staff, speak multiple languages. Nice breakfast ( except water melon, at some point, in the beginning it was empty, but not refilled during the service) I really loved the tea room with the amazing choice of different teas. I would definitely stay there again during my next visit to Karlovy Vary.

Stayed here for a few nights for work during the 57th Karlovy Vary Film Festival. I liked this hotel although it was pretty hard to judge it properly as the entire place was PACKED due to the film festival with all areas and many floors of the hotel being used by companies and displays. It is a bit of an oddity in Karlovy Vary as it's a modern 15 floor tower / conference centre in a town full of Czech old world buildings (I can only imagine the uproar when they planned it). So it's a hotel that also has Spa / Medical Treatment / Swimming pool, thermal pool / pool party / conference centre and restaurants. It seems to be modern by local standards - I was in a superior room with a balcony on the 13th floor with great views. The room had all the mod cons available in most decent hotels, good wi-fi, USB Power outlets, nice firm bed, good regular housekeeping. One thing I noticed was that the beds didn't have a separate sheet, only a fitted sheet and then a throw over dooner - no big deal, just different. Downstairs restaurant doing breakfast / lunch / dinner with a lot of options and really good wait staff. There's a large separate building (accessed by hill climbing elevator) that has an outdoor heated pool, thermal pool, saunas, change facilities - there was also a Pool Party with DJ, bar etc on the weekend days / nights (I assume that's just in summer or just during the film festival). I believe you get complimentary access to the pools /saunas for a couple of hours every day of your stay - I used it every morning for laps, it was great. In the pool complex there's also a decent restaurant with amazing views. As I said, the place was packed and the staff all seemed to handle it well. Everything you could want outside the hotel is a short walk away and there's SO many restaurants / bars etc to choose from. Karlovy Vary wasn't on my list of places to visit, but now that I've been there I'd consider going back.

Our family holiday in Karlovy Vary was simply perfect, mainly thanks to this amazing hotel! Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who were extremely accommodating and helpful during the entire stay. We felt truly welcomed and treated like royalty. The hotel offers not only beautiful rooms that are cozy, clean and spacious, but also perfect services. Our teenage daughters enjoyed the wellness and activities together. However, what appealed to us the most was the attitude of the staff. If you are looking for a place where you will feel pampered, in a safe and friendly environment, this hotel is the right choice. Karlovy Vary is beautiful in itself, but this hotel added a unique charm to our trip. We will definitely be happy to come back here! ❤️

1. Ristorante troppo rude e non professionale.Volevamo ottenere un caffè migliore dal bar per colazione per pagare, ma si è rivelato un problema enorme. Inoltre, il personale ha espresso aperta ostilità e irritazione per il resto del nostro soggiorno. 2. Servizio di pulizia intrusivo e molto insistente. Ci siamo svegliati a metà e abbiamo mostrato dellusione che non siamo ancora stati noi della stanza. Il ricevitore non parla mai inglese, compreso il resto del personale dell'hotel.Non si può mai contare su se la vostra richiesta sarà compresa e completata. 4. Buffet eccessivamente costoso, che non vive fino a 5 stelle di lusso. 5.On Il giorno della nostra partenza abbiamo preordito servizio in camera per colazione. Per la nostra sorpresa enorme non è mai venuto, e si scusano con alcune ragioni incomprensive. Senza dubbio incompetenza da alto a alto. Supponiamo che le stelle dell'hotel siano semplicemente acquistate, vedendo la corruzione e la briberia in città in generale. L'hotel non è quasi un luogo di lusso di cinque stelle come annunciano, e i prezzi non offrono la qualità attesa di nulla.

Sto mettendo due puttane al posto di Uslugu.

Het bezoeken van Marienbad stond al jaren op het programma, voor mij vanwege de Habsburg grandeur die hier nog volop aanwezig zou zijn en voor mijn vrouw vanwege het mooie maar mysterieuze chanson Marienbad van de Franse zangeres Barbara. Om met het laatste te beginnen, zij is daar niet veel wijzer geworden, maar de grandeur van Marienbad is enorm indrukwekkend. Het is een oud kuuroord en je waant je af en toe in de Habsburgse tijd. Heel aangenaam. Hotel Bohemia is een mooie exponent hiervan. Het is een bijzonder prettig hotel met mooie, ruime kamers en gelegen in het centrum. (eigen parkeergelegenheid!!). Wij hadden gekozen voor half pension (€ 30,00 pp) en dat was een goede keuze. Dit werd in buffetvorm aangeboden en het was veelzijdig en smakelijk, ook voor mijn vegetarische echtgenote. Het ontbijt was ook goed op orde en je kon zelfs met een bubbeltje beginnen. Het personeel is vriendelijk en attent. je moet wel het Duits beheersen want met Engels kom je hier niet ver, net als in de rest van Tsjechië overigens. Als laatste de prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding: Deze is heel goed. Hoewel Praag redelijk aan de prijs is, valt het in de buitengebieden erg mee. Het wordt wel tijd dat de euro ook hier wordt ingevoerd. Kortom een prachtig en fijn hotel in een interessante en aangename omgeving.
