1. Misleading Entrance Signage Upon arrival, we followed the signage pasted on a pillar that directed guests to a staircase entrance. However, when we reached that entrance, we were shocked to find the door marked with the sign “来宾止步” (“Guests Stop Here”). When we raised this with your staff, we were told that this entrance has not been in use since the COVID-19 period. While we understand that certain operations may have changed during the pandemic, COVID-19 restrictions have ended for more than two years. If the primary entrance has been permanently closed, why has no corrective action been taken and the misleading signage still left there? Carrying heavy luggage up and down a sloped path unnecessarily was frustrating and avoidable. 2. No Staff Assistance or Clear Signage at the New Entrance When we finally located the new entrance, there were no staff members on standby to assist us, nor was there any clear external signage indicating that this was the correct way to access the lobby. The explanation given later was that all staff were away assisting with parking which is not acceptable. At least one person should have been assigned to remain at the entrance, or the last person leaving should have arranged for another colleague to cover the position. In addition, the Operations Director mentioned that there is signage inside the new entrance directing guests to take the elevator to the lobby. However, this logic is flawed. If guests cannot locate the correct entrance in the first place, how could they possibly see a sign placed inside? 3. Poorly Trained and Unprofessional Front Desk Behavior After struggling outside, we called the number listed on Google. Only then did someone finally come out and lead us in. By that time, we were exhausted and upset. When we confronted the front desk staff about why they ignored us, despite us clearly visible outside the “来宾止步” glass door, making eye contact and knocking for help, but they claimed they “did not see us.” This excuse was clearly untrue, as we observed them looking in our direction. Even more disappointing, none of the front desk staff offered an apology even until we requested to speak to the Operations Director and asked him to review the CCTV footage. After reviewing the footage, the Operations Director confirmed that the front desk had not been alert and apologized on their behalf. However, he did not acknowledge that the front desk’s attitude and lack of sincerity were also serious problems. Being “not alert enough” and showing no sense of apology or empathy are two entirely different issues. As an international hotel, the front desk is the first impression of your service. Regardless of the quality of your facilities, this poor experience completely overshadowed the positive aspects of our stay. It also severely damages the reputation of Kagaya Group — a brand that has long been admired for its exemplary Japanese hospitality and politeness. Although we appreciate the Operations Director’s effort to make amends by offering us a meal and gifts (which we declined), it remains undeniable that this incident reflects a failure in staff training and management oversight. We hope that management will seriously review this incident, especially the issues of: - Inadequate and misleading signage at the entrance - Lack of staff presence and assistance upon guest arrival - Poor front desk awareness and unprofessional behavior We trust that Kagaya Group will uphold its proud tradition of service by addressing these problems promptly and ensuring no other guests experience such treatment in the future. La temperatura dell'acqua era facile da regolare ed è diventato il nostro rituale quotidiano per immergerci e rilassarci. Adatto ai bambini: Sebbene l'hotel abbia un'atmosfera elegante e rivolta agli adulti, il personale accoglie i bambini con piacere. Hanno fornito pantofole a misura di bambino, il che ha fatto sentire il mio piccolo un ospite VIP. Anche l'area della piscina sul tetto era adatta ai bambini (con supervisione) e abbiamo trascorso una splendida giornata sguazzando con vista sulle montagne. Un piccolo extra: anche dopo il check-out, ci è stato comunque permesso di utilizzare la piscina sul tetto e le terme. Questa maggiore flessibilità ha fatto un'enorme differenza per noi: ci ha permesso di goderci un altro bagno rilassante e un po' di tempo in piscina prima di prendere il treno per tornare a casa. Ha dimostrato come l'hotel faccia il possibile per accogliere le famiglie. Servizi: La piscina a sfioro sul tetto e l'area delle terme sono bellissime come nelle foto: tranquille, panoramiche e ben tenute. C'è anche un'accogliente lounge con snack e bevande gratuiti, utile per brevi pause tra un'attività e l'altra. Tutto sembrava pulito, ben progettato e di facile accesso, anche con un bambino. Servizio: Il servizio è stato cordiale, professionale e sinceramente gentile. Il personale della reception è stato molto disponibile a suggerire ristoranti nelle vicinanze e ha sempre accolto mio figlio con un sorriso. Ci hanno fatto sentire i benvenuti dall'inizio alla fine. Colazione: La colazione è stata una vera delizia per adulti e bambini: un ottimo mix di opzioni occidentali e *********. Il mio bambino di 7 anni ha particolarmente apprezzato la frutta fresca, le uova strapazzate e i mini croissant, mentre io ho apprezzato i dettagli locali come il porridge di patate dolci, i pancake al cipollotto e il latte di soia fatto in casa. In generale: Wellspring by Silks è un perfetto mix di lusso e tranquillità e comfort per le famiglie. Che viaggiate da soli, in coppia o con bambini, è il posto ideale per rilassarsi e godersi il meglio della cultura termale di Jiaoxi. Non vediamo l'ora della nostra prossima visita.

Sweetme Hotsprint Resort è un fantastico luogo per rilassare e ricarregare. La posizione è eccellente, a pochi minuti’ a piedi dalla stazione Xinbeitou e convenientemente vicino a molti ristoranti. Una delle principali caratteristiche del soggiorno è stata l'esperienza di spa. Gli ospiti possono godere sia della primavera calda privata in camera che delle strutture di spa pubbliche. La stanza era pulita, spaziosa e concisa per il comfort. Il pranzo è stato un altro punto forte, con una buona selezione di cibo per iniziare il giorno giusto. In generale, Sweetme Hotsprint Resort offre un'esperienza ben arrotondata con grandi strutture, una posizione di prima qualità e un'atmosfera rilassante.

L'hotel era bello e pulito. L'abbiamo prenotato perché ha tubi caldi di primavera all'interno delle camere. Ci è piaciuto molto. Ci è piaciuto anche il pranzo e il colazione a buffet. Abbiamo avuto un buon soggiorno di una notte per visitare il lago di Sun Moon, come è vicino al lato pier dove inizia la pista di bicicletta. Ci siamo rimasti solo per una notte, quindi non abbiamo potuto utilizzare le loro altre strutture.

Best resort in Taiwan and worth every penny. Highest level of service - it’s like being at a modern luxury ryokan in Japan except everyone speaks Chinese. Room design is brilliant, and one king room fit my family of 2 adults and 2 toddlers with a California king and a separate tatami area. The room has an epic view from every angle the moment you walk in the door and includes a private outdoor onsen connected to your bathroom. I noticed many private in-room onsens in Japan are diluted down, but this was spring fed. The public onsen was huge, extremely well maintained, and included a large walled zen garden with an adjacent sauna and cold plunge. I was lucky enough to experience this area all to myself with one other guest leaving as I arrived and another guest arriving as I was leaving. In China, this onsen would have comfortably accommodated 100 bathers. The spring water is not high in sulfuric content (doesn’t smell like rotten eggs), and the temperature is relatively mild - ideal for my family. Given the limited availability of the hotel online, I was expecting it to be more crowded. I got the sense that room rates are controlled to optimize guest experience, not profit, while staff are trained to ensure that customers never feel like they are being ripped off or “sold”. It seemed there were more staff than guests on site. I originally booked 2 rooms, and some of my family members couldn’t make the trip. We didn’t need the second room, and the staff were very gracious to refund and cancel the second room on the spot. When I’m back in Taiwan or traveling to a place where Hoshinoya does business, I would not hesitate to book again and make a special journey to stay at one of their destination resorts.

It’s super easy to walk to from the bus station (Jiaoxi transfer station). It took us less then 5 mins and simple stroll through the hotspring park. We have a room for three. It a queen bed and a twin. We really enjoy the in room hot springs bathtub. The coffee,drink and popsicle are available 24/7 which is very convenient. Highly recommended.

Le mutandine possono essere migliorate. La stanza era ben pulita. Ha avuto un buon soffitto con il nostro privato nel tubo acqua calda di primavera. I bagni e la doccia sono stati separati. La pressione dell'acqua per la doccia era ok. Può essere più forte. Aircon era ok per tutti i tipi di aggiustamenti. Nessuna attrezzatura fornita a meno che non vogliate comprarla attraverso il conteggio (a noi abbiamo portato il nostro) La colazione è stata decente e diffusa in modo sorprendente! Il personale era amichevole e paziente. State generali 👍🏻!

Hotel bello con ambiente tranquillo, grande pubblico e anche con strutture di servizio all'interno della camera dell'hotel. Tutti i camere di hotel con molto spazioso soggiorno e zona cucina. Relaxa abbastanza per rimanere qui. Camminare a LRT se necessario per viaggiare fuori.

Yamagata Kaku Hotel & Spa è un bel hotel con una posizione fantastica. Da quando si entra in casa, si è accolto con un profumo molto piacevole e tranquillo, creando un'atmosfera calda e accogliente. Le strutture dell'hotel sono eccellenti, soprattutto l'acqua calda e il bagno grande, che hanno reso il soggiorno molto rilassante. La fornitura di un kimono ha aggiunto un bel toccamento tradizionale e ha migliorato l'esperienza generale.
