Arrived Monday 15 May for one night’s stay. Good welcome at reception, spacious car park. Hotel in central location, walk to all the Town’s attractions. Very reasonable price – very tatty inside. Room spacious, carpet stained. Building work in progress everywhere around the hotel. Surprised no mention of Building work on ***********. Car park - areas piled with builders’ materials and discarded furniture. We weren’t alarmed, because the builders stop work at the end of the day. Fire doors in the hotel slam shut (automatically – as you let them go). So we were awoken by other guests coming in later and inadvertently slamming the doors. Taking a shower – the head ‘fell’ off the wall onto my husband while showering! At 6.00am (YES 6.00am)! the builders began their day – driving a loud forklift truck through a passage to deliver more materials, going back and forth with more and more loads. Frequent noisy manouvering of the vehicle, plus the annoying beeping of the reversing warning. We were woken up. What are the hotel owners thinking? 8.00am would be an entirely UNreasonable time for the builders to start banging around. 6.00am is ridiculous. I put on my clothes at 6.15 and went to reception to complain. The young guy on night duty was kind and received the complaint well. Gave us a complimentary breakfast. Breakfast – just about ok. Not great. Nice to have fresh fruit cut up. I was glad we weren't paying for it. WIFI On arrival you are given the WiFi password etc …. With a note explaining that the portal is closed between 22h30 and 6h. “Le portail est ferme de 22h30 a 6h”. So don’t bother wanting WiFi late in the evening or during the night! Travellers – don’t stay here. Whatever the price, you won’t get a good night’s sleep unless they solve those banging interior doors and take control of their building contractors. A miserable experience.

Hotel di grande prestigio con alle spalle una storia gloriosa. Punto di riferimento per chi si ritrova nel centro di Cortina per la sua posizione strategica. Classe e professionalità si respirano in tutta la struttura per la gentilezza e la disponibilità del personale all'interno di una location molto curata. Eccellente il ristorante per il servizio e la qualità del cibo. Tutti molto bravi i collaboratori dell'hotel ma una menzione particolare va al hedge concierge Lorenzo capace di dare ogni risposta alle esigenze di ei clienti.

Ottima struttura, al giusto prezzo: ambienti comuni ampi e simpaticamente arredati nello stille regionale della Borgogna; ampio giardino con parco arredato, area giochi per bimbi ed adulti, piscina, orto e fiori; parcheggio custodito con colonnine di ricarica elettrica; camere silenziose e confortevoli;colazione con prodotti locali di fattoria; buon ristorante; prossimo all'autostrada. Per me, ottima sosta rilassante nel lavoro; nonché ambiente adatto per coppie e famiglie. E' diventato il mio albergo di riferimento per i viaggi in Borgogna.

What a super stay in this carefully restored hotel which is run by a very friendly husband and wife team. The other staff are also superb. Set in beautiful grounds with flowers and a beautiful terrace for breakfast al fresco. Pool is perfect with lots of places to relax and lots of loungers with pool towels provided. Room we had (18) was large with a comfy bed and pillows a magnificent shower and lots of plugs in all the right places. Ambience very French and decor thoughtful and beautiful throughout. They get that part 100% right plus the rooms from a practical nature are brilliant too. Located 5 mins from Beaune and so much more than a one night stop en route somewhere. Recent review said carpet not good idea. Trust me it was superb! Stay here if you can.

Hotel in centro a Beaune in posizione strategica per visitare la Borgogna con comodo ampissimo parcheggio per pullman camper etc. Camera non grande ( la mia ) ma pratica. Peccato c’è la piscina ma in orario ridotto 10 20 quindi niente bagno presto e per chi va per lavoro peccato. In camera non si trovano ciabattine o telo. Colazione buona nella media ma brioche surgelate . Nel complesso consigliato.

La location è affascinante: si legge la storia nelle mura di questo hotel, addirittura un balcone risale al XII secolo ( se non ho capito male). Detto questo, per il resto non mi ha proprio soddisfatto. La camera è piccola, per essere una suite, con arredamento che avrebbe bisogno di una bella rinfrescata, a partire dalla moquette. La camera è rumorosissima, si sentono le porte sbattute dai vicini, la tv delle camere accanto e le persone che parlano sul corridoio. La colazione è buona, ma nella sala principale ci sono pochi tavoli e due mattine su tre abbiamo dovuto scendere in uno stretto locale senza finestre (forse utilizzato per gli assaggi dei vini) che dava un senso di claustrofobia. Il personale è gentilissimo e disponibile, ma questo non basta per un 5 stelle. Prezzo alto per quanto offerto.
