Grande piccolo hotel che abbiamo soggiornato per 5 notti piscina area è davvero freddo e sconfezionato abbiamo andato banche vacanze weekend e poteva essere a letto sole in qualsiasi momento dal giorno ma la parte migliore dell'hotel sono il personale che lavora senza stanchezza per i clienti che lavorano in Bar Lavorano in buffet per colazione e un ragazzo non sicuramente il suo nome (vecchio ragazzo ) cucinare Paella comprare la piscina a mezzogiorno e è stato bello e solo € 7 camere buone per 3 stelle e hotel in una grande posizione 5min cammino a ristoranti spiaggia sicuramente sarebbe torna grande trovare mantenere i buoni uomini di lavoro e gridare a Maria la migliore dama bar mai 😄👍

My honest review of my recent stay in the hotel Negatives We arrived late (11pm) on reception we got told there was no way of getting any food or drink in the hotel. Not even a complimentary bottle of water in our room. So we carted our suitcases to the room then headed out and no shops were open! Next day I mentioned it and was told there was a vending machine with water and other drinks, no mention of it the night before. We were hot, tired and the last thing we wanted was to venture out looking for water. Eventually we found a bar and we got a drink. By which time my little girl was crying. Not a good start. The bar,eating and entertainment area. It was roasting and I mean roasting. It was outside and often of an evening we struggled to get a seat to eat as they had all been taken for the entertainment. It was all outside and in mid August the heat was unbearable. I’m guessing other months it’s more suitable but for that month air conditioned indoor area would have been better. Don’t wear white or light colours in the pool you’ll get them turning yellow. Now the negative is out the way I’ll go into the positives and there are a lot. The room It was brilliant. Ample size for me , my partner and my daughter. The shower was powerful and never struggled for hot water. Towels could have been a bit bigger but were fine enough. Air con was exceptionally good and the view from our balcony was the pool which was nice. Also a maiden on the balcony which was great. The food Can’t fault it. I’ve been to a lot of all inclusive hotels and although this was smaller the food was great! The best paella I’ve ever had. Cakes amazing too and always a great variety. Chef on hot griddle doing fresh meats and fish as well as ample salads and food on the hot counter. Food was always hot too. Alex the waiter was amazing, nothing was too much trouble and he always had a big smile on his face. Credit to the hotel. Entertainment The kids loved it and the mini disco was a hit. They try their best to get you all to have a good time. There was a parrot show on whilst we were there and it was brilliant. During the day a lovely lady did the entertainment and she was a big hit with all the kids and had such a lovely way with everyone. Pool Brilliant size and i absolutely loved the fake grass it was so much better than tiles on feet and obviously not slippy. Sunbeds no issue in height of season we always got one. Parasols plenty too. Life guards work so hard and are on the ball which is good. Area You can’t get much better, it’s literally down the road from all the shops and bars and the beach. The hill which people say is a struggle was literally just the pavement slightly is steep. Nothing at all really we hardly noticed it. Lots of shops, close to main bus routes and the beach is fab. Wir haben uns insgesamt sehr wohl im Hotel gefühlt. Es war sauber und mit gutem Service. Alle unsere Wünsche wurden erfüllt wie z. B. Sonnenschirm ausleihen oder frühstücken ausserhalb der Regelzeiten. Die Lage ist sehr zentral und wenige Meter vom Strand entfernt. Das Hotel verfügte ausserdem über mehrere Pools und Dachterrassen, die sehr angenehm gestaltet waren. Unser Zimmer hatte auch Meeres- und Stadtblick mit einem geräumigem Balkon. Zimmereinrichtung war funktional und das Bett sehr komfortabel (Kingsize plus). Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich, es gab gute Auswahl an frische Obst, Kaffe war ebenso sehr gut. Die meisten Gäste waren englisch, die Atmosphäre war aber entspannt und unkompliziert. Wir empfehlen das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiter.

As someone who checked out this morning, I can only agree with the negative reviews of other people. There simply aren’t enough parasols, and during this heat wave that’s been a nightmare. Maybe it hasn’t been so bad in previous years because it hasn’t been so hot, but this year even people who love tanning needed some shade. Despite the complaints going back months on here (which we know they can see because they respond to some) no more parasols have been bought. Why not? So despite really really not wanting to, I joined the madness of towels out at 7am, because otherwise the kids would burn to a crisp. It’s made for a rotten holiday. And as someone who sits down there and reads, rather than heading back up, I can tell you that the sunbeds and the ground under them are filthy. They are not cleaned at all. The pool is, the area around the kids’ pool is, but around the adults pool you have the same bird poo, leaves, empty glasses, spilled drinks and bits of fruit that were there yesterday. Nobody cleans that. Not helping is the people who put towels down and then don’t appear until 3pm. I just took their parasols after a couple of hours on the days I hadn’t come down early enough to get one. More people should and it would stop them. I did tell the receptionist, who said she’d tell the pool staff to be more proactive, but nothing changed from their end. An otherwise nice little hotel, but we’d never return or recommend it solely due to the pool.

l'Hotel Bahia del Sol è un posto delizioso, con vista mare ed in pieno centro di Santa Ponsa. Dotato di piscina esterna, interna, sauna, bar interno (sangria ottima), rooftop per aperitivo..il Personale di Reception e di sala è cortese e gentile, molto accogliente. Bouffet molto vario. Buona posizione per raggiungere locali/ristoranti la sera. A circa 500 mt dall'hotel ci sono fermate taxi e bus per raggiungere Palma. In ogni caso anche l'hotel fornisce un contatto nel caso si volesse noleggiare un auto per qualche giorno. Insomma, consigliatissimo.

The apartments are well appointed in Santa Ponsa just a short walk from the bay and restaurants. I was welcomed by the night manager who was very helpful. The apartment was clean and well equipped. I have no issues with the 'front of house' experience. But, I question the company's ability to rationalise a dispute fairly. I was there for 2 nights only, visiting for a special occasion. When I returned from eating after a long day I was locked out of my room and the night manager couldn't gain access with his pass key. He kindly arranged another room for me but all my belongings were locked in the other room. I was due to be picked up the following morning for a trip into Palma, but missed the opportunity as I had to stay to wait for my belongings. They had to break into the room to access my stuff. The company's view towards my compensation was that they gave me another room so that's all they were prepared to offer, well I should hope they did give me another room I'd paid for it. I can't be bothered to take this any further to be honest, but be mindful if you're staying here and you have medication in your room, for example.
