Fine for a one-night stay. We were on our way to Chile via the lakes between the two countries. The breakfast buffet was good and they had caffein-free powdered coffee. Good scrambled eggs. We had fish the night below. It tasted ok but was a bit over-cooked. Not easy to fix fish for larger groups. I suggest offering other dishes to serve to groups. Be aware there is no salt and pepper on the tables, as is common in Argentina - you can ask for it though. The bed was comfortable. There are no USB ports in the rooms. This is an older hotel. The staff were professional and efficient. Be aware that Argentinan cities can change a tourist tax - Bariloche is one of those cities. There are not many hotels in this area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Staff were excellent  Rooms had an amazing view with a hot tub/jacuzzi in each room by the window overlooking the view of the mountains/lake. Bed was very comfortable. Internet could be a little slow at times. Food was excellent, breakfast was very good. A very relaxing stay with rooms with a view to die for. We had rooms in the 3rd block the higher up you go the better the view. 05 rooms have a jacuzzi in the bay window of the room overlooking the lake. Would most certainly come back.   .

Deceiving. These photos don’t show reality. The hotel’s reception and breakfast area are ok. However, things change dramatically when you go to the bedrooms. They are dirty and extremely small. I felt disgusted when I walked on the very dirty and stained carpet. The bathroom is very very small, very dirty and things don’t work properly. The closet doors are very hard to operate, the wooden blinds were ripped here and there. The toilet leaks continuously and the bath tub doesn’t drain well. When I showered, the water would not drain and raise by 1 foot or more. The breakfast was ok.

When I went to make a reservation at the Llao Llao, I could have easly chosen a more expensive room in the newer Moreno wing. But the hotel website made it look as if the older Bustillo rooms had the same nice lake view as the Moreno rooms, so it didn't seem worth the extra price. But the room that we were given, on the fourth floor of the Bustillo building, was small, dark and extrmely depressing, with a tiny view of the lake through a dormer window that one could only see standing up. As it rained for most of our stay, we had no choice but to spend a lot of time in the room, which was really dismal. The bathroom was also particularly ancient, and the bed was not comfortable. The location of the Llao Llao is certainly dramatic, and the indoor/outdoor pool in particular is wonderful. I'm sure that the hotel is a lot nicer in good weather. But it's inconceivable that this could be considered a five-star hotel, considering the dreary state of the room that we were given.

Si tratta di una piccola ostaggina - solo 10 camere - eccellentemente conservata, situata davanti al lago Gutiérrez e con una vista panoramica incredibile. Le camere, tutte vista sul lago, anche se possono sembrare un po' antichi, per chi piace i mobili antichi (in questo caso di stile provinziano) e una decorazione montagna di mezzo secolo molto smerigliata, sono molto calde e accoglienti, ma dal momento che dipende dal gusto del cliente. La questione della distanza è anche soggettiva, ma se si vuole godere di tranquillità e ambiente, indipendentemente dal fatto che la città sia o meno vicina, questo diventa un luogo ideale. Oltre ad un lobby, con il suo soggiorno integrato, molto caldo, ambiente che ricorda questi vecchi cabani di montagna delle vecchie film americane, ha una terrazza per colazione o godere dei paesaggi che aggiunge un plus molto importante. Tutto questo, insieme ad una piacevole e smerita attenzione del personale, fanno un grande combo e sopra a prezzi molto accessibili. In personale mi sembra un posto, soprattutto per coppie, altamente raccomandabile.

5/5. Hard product - rustic but clean and organized. Plenty of space and amazing views. Had room 5. 2 beds. They were a bit narrow and on the medium firm/soft side but got the job done (we prefer extra extra firm). Lobby and dining great. Soft product - everyone is very kind and helpful. You’ll feel like you’re visiting a friend’s cabin. Helped us book tours in the area. Gave great recommendations for food. Note - we stayed at the Llao Llao and much prefer Aldebaran. The food, service, and quality are much better here.
