Hotel a 4 stelle in Provincia di Puntarenas, Costa Rica

Beautiful location and for the most part the service was great. First the pluses ....beach is super and the staff down by the beach was friendly and welcoming and they do a great job of creating safety (lots of lifeguard drills it appeared!) and overall the sense of a lovely vacation feel. There are golf carts to take you everywhere on the property, which is pretty necessary as the property is steep and quite spread out. You just give a call and someone shows up in minutes. Many of the drivers have a great personality, just made it surprising when a few of them seemed not friendly--and for us there was no need to speak English--I was always happy to try my Spanish! Ditto for the staff in the main restaurant--some were friendly and welcoming and a few others were all business and not very welcoming or patient. On with the plus items...the beds are very comfortable, rooms are private and quiet, and the policy of free mini bar snacks (with free restocking) is wonderful! The monkeys and iguanas --and sloths--on the property are terrific. There is a dinner in the beach restaurant on Wednesdays, Sats and Suns and since we were only there for the Wed dinner, I wish that the staff at breakfast had reminded us of it and also, there could be a small guide in the room that would include the beach dinner evening schedule as well as a map of the nature trail --with distances. We wanted to walk it ourselves, without their guide, but didn't have a good sense of the overall length of the trail. There was a little sense that they wanted to encourage us to sign up for their guided (for a fee) walk. The food in the main restaurant was good, but not exceptional and the dinners are quite expensive. The breakfast has many choices and again, it's good but not exceptional--but nice that it's included in the room price. Overall, however, it's a lovely place, clearly the nicest place to stay in Manuel Antonio, but also quite pricey, which you know if you're reading this! Trip.com had the best price by far, at least for November.

Abbiamo avuto una grande esperienza in questo hotel. Le camere erano estremamente pulite, la terrazza era molto spaziosa, e la vista sull'oceano era assolutamente bella. Il personale era molto amichevole e utile, e anche se qualcosa non funzionava correttamente, erano sempre pronti a assistere rapidamente e con un atteggiamento positivo. L'unico piccolo punto di svantaggio è che l'hotel è situato a circa 20 minuti di collina, quindi arrivare lì può essere un po' difficile. Se non vuoi passare il tempo di guidare e scendere ogni giorno, potresti preferire prenotare un posto più vicino al fondo. In generale, consigliamo molto questo hotel e sicuramente rimarrebbe lì!

L'hotel era un posto pulito e pulito, dotato di telescopio, sapone, ecc. e di tutti i tipi di kit di aiuto. Il nostro soggiorno al resort era meraviglioso. Il proprietario era coinvolto personalmente e si incontrava con i clienti. La cena era eccellente e il personale era molto utile. Le strutture erano fair, le camere e i bagni hanno bisogno di aggiornamenti. Il servizio in camera era difficile da ordinare. Le strade devono essere fissate, e la strada principale in entrata nel resort renderebbe più facile guidare verso l'impianto.

Very nice hotel less than 15 minutes away from the park. Room was very comfortable and service was good. Be aware this hotel is in a steep hill.

Lovely hotel. Good restaurant. Reception a little disconnected and felt ‘on your own’. Could be a superb hotel if they changed the guest policy from children age 8+ as infants and babies impacted on other guests due to the open plan hotel layout.

Ti hanno messo a disagio qui! Hanno creato un WhatsApp per i servizi degli ospiti e questo lo ha reso più disastroso. Ero al bagno e ho bisogno di ghiaccio per il mio drink che ho portato là e tutto quello che ho fatto era messaggio e mi hanno portato direttamente. Il cibo era un buon colazione, pranzo e cena. Ci fu servizio di navetta gratuito per Agua Azules e la città, che era perfetto perché abbiamo prenotato un paracadute con Agua Azules e ci hanno lasciati a piedi. La stanza era pulita. La proprietà era bella. Dovremmo vedere slot, iguane e scimmie! Le scimmie erano proprio fuori dal nostro edificio hotel (noi prenotammo una suite vista) quando uscivamo.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Montverde. Hotel Poco a Poco was a wonderful hotel, quaint, personal and beautiful. The location was great and we enjoyed the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. We did not use the spa service but did enjoy the walk through the gardens.
