As a Hilton Honors Diamond member, I was thoroughly disappointed with my experience at this hotel. We were left to suffer in 80+ degree heat in our room with no air conditioning. The front desk clerk tried to accommodate by moving us to another room but after checking multiple rooms across multiple floors, none had a functioning HVAC system. He noted other guests were also complaining of the same issue. Management, however, refused to provide alternative accommodations considering they could not fix the HVAC system. We ultimately had to sleep with cold wet towels on our bodies to make it through the night. Totally unacceptable to lack functioning air conditioning in the middle of summer. After my stay, I discovered this has been a recurrent issue at this hotel and management has repeatedly failed to remediate it. You can read the compendium of Google reviews below mine and you will curiously find that management will not respond to those which raise the air conditioning issue. Unsurprisingly, management never responded to multiple emails I sent seeking to have my stay compensated which compelled me to reach out to Hilton Worldwide directly. Once I contacted Hilton’s corporate office and explained my experience at this hotel, Hilton, thankfully, DID compensate me. Hilton Worldwide also indicated they will be investigating the issue directly and will be sending inspectors to evaluate compliance with brand standards. Repeated violations of HGI brand standards in the form of no HVAC in multiple guest rooms is a brazen gamble on the part of the proprietors. Hopefully they will reconsider their practices as it relates to facility management. But until they do, I advise that you stay far away from the Hilton Garden Inn Zurich Limmattal.

Apparently I had a double reservation which was never confirmed (I tried to book through one way and always got the same error so I book through another way and finally got my reservation done, and also the confirmation email). Later, after check-in, I got an email from the hotel saying I didn't check in. When I went back to the reception to clarify this they told I had 2 reservations on the system, but that they would just cancel one of them and everything would be fine. Later, on check-out, they charged me 90CHF extra because of alleged ”price difference” between the 2 reservations because one of them was not cancellable. I never got any confirmation of the second reservation (the overpriced one) and got charged anyway. Also, during check out, the lady told me I had to pay it to leave but that I was almost certainly getting this value back after she clarify this with her boss on the same day. It's been 1 week now and not even an email

Abbiamo avuto una bella 3 notti, i due migliori attributi sono il personale molto amichevole e utile, e il bar complimentare. Le camere erano ben attrezzate e moderne, avevano un bellissimo bagno elegante, letti molto confortevoli e la lenzuola. Il colazione continentale è stato eccellente con una vasta gamma di prodotti regionali, tra cui la pasta fresca e i formaggi. La mia unica sorpresa era che non c'era aria con come kr era l'altezza della onde di calore, ma il personale dell'hotel ci ha dato un ottimo fan che ci ha aiutato a dormire. Si è sentito calmo, rilassato e curato alla fine del soggiorno e si sarebbe certamente tornato o provare altri hotel Accor.

We were on the 12th floor of this strange tower block hotel with a great view of Baden, but there was no air conditioning and the fan was all floppy so we had to hold it up with a prop. The room was not super clean. There was a kettle but only one cup and one tea bag for two people. When I went to reception for more tea bags the guy on reception was trying to serve a whole bunch of people in the restaurant and forgot about me. Resources are spread too thin. Back to the room: most of the UK channels on the list of available channels to watch did not work. Breakfast was not great. Processed ham and cheese portions on separate plates wrapped with cling film. No one present to serve coffee - had to go and find someone in the restaurant on the floor below. There was no cooked breakfast. My husband asked for scrambled egg and the answer was « No because of Covid ». We could not see the connection between Covid and scrambled egg. Staff were friendly, however.
