We visit the Four Points by Sheraton, in Gu'an Langfang often. This was a particularly special visit, as there were numerous events to celebrate. Namely ”Mid Autumn Festival”, ”National Day” and my Birthday coincided during this period. This Hotel is without a doubt the best Hotel, not only in Gu'an, but in Langfang as well. The ”Eatery Restaurant”, plays a vital role in the success of this Hotel. I often say this when visiting a great Hotel or Restaurant, it's the ”Team”, whom makes the establishment a success. The ”New” pastry cheff, is truly a great asset to the Restaurant and Hotel. His pastries are of exceptional standard, and the variety is huge ”unlike the sister Hotel's Restaurant, The Sheraton”, whom barely have any pastries or desert on offer. Without the right team in place, the business can and will, never be truly successful. Especially, in the current highly competitive market. As a former ”Regional Retail Manager”, with over 15 years of Management experience, I can't help but observe and analyze certain businesses. Being University Qualified in ”Customer Relationship Management” and ”Retail Management”, I appreciate High levels of Customer service. The success of this Hotel and Restaurant, lies in it's team, and their hard work and dedication. True ”Managers”, lead from the front, and set an example to their staff. As the case with ”Samuel” the General Manager, whom always assists his team on the floor. The same can be said for ”Marcus” the Restaurant Manager, whom is always ”hands on” and working hard on the floor. Such ”leadership” sets the tone, for a great team as it will filter down to staff on all levels. Special thanks to ”Lydia” the Office Manager, for always being willing to assist in ensuring that guests receive the absolute best, during their stay. Lydia is always courteous and professional. As always, ”Marcus” the Restaurant Manager, treated us with extreme courtesy and hospitality. We appreciate your hospitality Marcus, thank you. Thank you to ”Molly” from the Restaurant, whom assisted us with with room service, as well as in the Restaurant. It's also note worthy to mention, that it's not only the ”Management Team”, whom deserve praise. As all team members provided excellent service, during our stay. Thank you to ”Housekeeping”, for friendly and prompt service. The team at the ”Swimming Pool”, also provided friendly and prompt service, during our stay, thank you for that. We also appreciated the friendly and professional service, received from the following Restaurant staff: Sam, Peter and Joe. Perhaps, ”Marriott” should consider, having this Hotel's ”sister” Hotel, ”The Sheraton, Chaobai River Hotel's Management and Team, learn about ”Hospitality and Service”, from this Hotel ”Four Points by Sheraton, Gu'an Langfang”. As in my opinion, the ”The Sheraton, Chaobai River Hotel's Management” is not on standard. The facilities at the Four Points by Sheraton, Gu'an, Lanfang, are on International standard. We always enjoy the Swimming Pool, Lobby Lounge and Outdoor Deck, during our stay. The ”Alpacas” are truly amazing creatures and are well taken care of. They truly make guests' stay, more enjoyable. We can highly recommend the Four Points by Sheraton, Gu'an Langfang, to all visitors, ”Foreign, and Domestic”. This is still our favorite destination, in Gu'an / Langfang and surrounding areas. **Hotel Review: Aesthetic Excellence Overshadowed by Comfort Failures** Our recent stay at this supposedly 5-star hotel left us with mixed feelings. While the hotel clearly invested heavily in aesthetics, creating a visually stunning environment that looks fantastic in photos, the design seemed to prioritize form over function, ultimately compromising our comfort. Sadly, this became a deal-breaker for us. The most glaring issue was the room's ventilation and temperature control—or lack thereof. We visited in early March, and the entire building was excessively heated. Despite being from a tropical country and accustomed to warm weather, I found myself sweating in shorts and a singlet. The staff, though polite and eager to help, seemed powerless to address the issue. They provided us with a small portable AC unit, which was better than nothing, but it was clear from their demeanor that this was a recurring problem for guests. Sleeping was a nightmare. The only way to cool the room slightly was to keep the windows open, but this meant having the blinds and curtains up, allowing outside noise and light to flood in. The choice was between sleeping in a sauna-like environment or enduring the disturbances from outside. Needless to say, we had a terrible night's sleep and were relieved to check out after just one night. On a positive note, the service was impeccable. The staff truly deserve recognition for their efforts to assist guests despite the limitations they faced. The breakfast spread was also a highlight—delicious, varied, and reasonably priced, especially if you inform them in advance about adding breakfast to your stay. The room amenities were top-notch, and the spaciousness of the room added to the overall sense of luxury. We got a family suite which was plenty spacious and came with 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 bathtubs and a living area. However, these positives couldn’t outweigh the discomfort caused by the poor temperature regulation. During our trip, we stayed in four different cities across China, and this was the only hotel that lacked proper air conditioning and heating controls. For a 5-star establishment, this is a significant oversight. In conclusion, while the hotel excels in aesthetics, service, and amenities, the lack of a well-thought-out solution for room temperature is a major drawback. Management needs to address this issue with a long-term fix. After all, no matter how beautiful a hotel looks, it’s hard to appreciate it when you can’t get a good night’s rest.

I found this hotel through inst reel. Hopefully, it was real ! The hotel, staff and location are amazing. All the crew helped us with different problems and solved all of them in a short period of time. Especially, big thanks to manager Lily of the hotel, she made this journey for us comfortable and helped with everything! She spoke in English with us, so the communication was easy and pleasant. The location is perfect, just near the resort. 5 min walk or the hotel got the shuttle. Breakfast is amazing ! Various food, so for us it was easy to choose delightful food every morning. Looking forward to return!

Abbiamo avuto un ottimo soggiorno a Shangri-La. La posizione è perfetta! molto vicino alla spiaggia, che rendeva tutto ancora più piacevole. Il cibo era delizioso, e il servizio in camera, così come tutti i membri del personale, erano incredibilmente caldi, gentili e attenti. Inizialmente avevamo previsto di rimanere per due notti, ma ci piaceva tanto che ci siamo prolungati per un'altra notte. La piscina era pulita e ben mantenuta. Ci siamo davvero goditi del nostro tempo per le biciclette marittime lungo la spiaggia, alimentando i marinai, e prendendo bellissime foto. Era una splendida e memorabile esperienza.

L'ambiente dell'hotel è eccellente, con un concetto di design innovativo. Il letto king-size offre una vista rilassante semplicemente aprendo le tende. La camera è spaziosa e ben arredata. Tuttavia, sarebbe ancora meglio se il pavimento fosse privo di macchie d'acqua dopo essere stato lavato, se la stanza avesse un profumo più fresco (c'era un odore di pesce dopo aver lavato il pavimento) e se i prodotti da bagno fossero di qualità superiore. La colazione viene servita presso il ristorante adiacente Luyu, ma la gestione è stata un po' deludente. Arrivati ​​alle 9:30, non c'era nessuno ad accompagnarci al tavolo; abbiamo dovuto trovare i nostri posti da soli e nessuno ha sparecchiato prontamente. Perfetto soggiorno – Molto raccomandato! Il nostro hotel è stato un gruppo, e la nostra esperienza è stata assolutamente sorprendente da parte del nostro inizio alla fine. Hanno davvero compiuto un ulteriore passo per soddisfare le nostre richieste e aiutarci con tutte le domande che sono venute in arrivo durante il nostro soggiorno. Abbiamo prenotato una suite standard nell'Anguilla del Sud e una sala di vista deluxe sulla montagna nel palazzo principale, entrambi molto puliti, comodi, spaziosi e ben attrezzati. Tutto è stato preparato con pensiero, rendendo il nostro soggiorno relax e piacevole. Il colazione era molto buono, con una bella varietà, e averlo incluso per alcune persone era molto conveniente. Il pacchetto sciistico è stato perfettamente organizzato passaggi sciistici, accesso rapido, precoce di bordo di cavo, trasferimenti dalla stazione ferroviaria ad alta velocità Taizheng, e attività supplementari come yoga e Pilate hanno reso l'intera esperienza senza stress. L'ambiente dell'hotel è molto buono, l'aspetto è bello, la hall è spaziosa e luminosa, il cortile è ampio e il parcheggio è comodo. Buona igiene, servizio cordiale, bevande gratuite e pantofole per bambini. Il letto matrimoniale ordinato è alto 1,35 metri. È molto comodo dormire in due letti separati, 2 grandi e 2 piccoli. La colazione a buffet è molto ricca e ognuno può trovare qualcosa di suo gradimento. L'hotel è di altissimo livello. Le strutture sono complete e il trasporto è molto conveniente. Se arrivi qui in auto, puoi raggiungere il centro commerciale in pochi minuti, il Baishi Park e la Nanchuan Old Street. C'è una grande area di intrattenimento all'aperto per bambini a Baishiyuan, che costa 10 yuan. È fantastico giocare con i bambini. Bellezza del crisantemo del giardino botanico

The location was and is amazing! The beach is nice and surprisingly clean. Sadly there is a construction ongoing which splits the beach up causing a limited enjoyment. Regarding the hotel. Amazing entrance! The hotel is made for several 100, when not even 1000 people! But you can clearly see that this amount of visitors causes the material to dissolve. That's quite sad. We went there in a high frequent moment. Causing reduced service availability and options but they try their best.
