Hotel a 5 stelle in Guangxi, Cina

Ogni volta che prenoto un hotel, è come aprire una ”scatola cieca”! Dal check-in al check-out, ogni aspetto di questo hotel è davvero soddisfacente. Il personale della reception è stato incredibilmente disponibile, aiutando proattivamente con i bagagli e fornendo spiegazioni dettagliate sui servizi dell'hotel. Hanno persino inviato promemoria WeChat nel caso in cui li avessi persi. Il loro servizio è stato eccezionale. L'hotel è incredibilmente tranquillo, incastonato proprio sul fianco della montagna, con un laghetto con pesci e un ampio prato. Ci sono anche campi da tennis, una palestra e una lavanderia, tutti molto ben attrezzati. La piscina è stata una vera sorpresa: l'acqua era incredibilmente limpida e pulita. Le camere sono nuove e moderne, soprattutto le docce, che avevano un'eccellente pressione dell'acqua. La doccia era incredibilmente comoda e rinfrescante. La colazione era abbondante, con ingredienti freschi, e i noodles di riso appena fatti erano incredibilmente deliziosi. Se volete visitare West Street, potete prendere la navetta dell'hotel, evitando gli ingorghi e il fastidio di guidare. Il soggiorno in hotel è confortevole.

Sebbene la struttura sia un po' vecchia e non ben tenuta, le dimensioni della camera erano eccezionalmente grandi, con un bagno enorme e una vasca idromassaggio, che però non funzionava. La posizione era eccellente, vicino al fiume, che potevamo vedere proprio a due passi dal balcone e dalla veranda. È vicino al centro città e al Monte Elefante, quindi spostarsi era facile. La colazione era discreta (3,5/5) e il posto è antico (4/5), non male considerando il prezzo e la posizione (5/5), se si può scendere a compromessi sulla pulizia (3/5) e sulla manutenzione (3/5).

La hall offre una vista sul fiume. Questa guesthouse è stata la sorpresa più piacevole di tutto il mio viaggio a Guilin, immergendomi completamente nell'atmosfera paesaggistica! La posizione è eccellente, comodissima per visitare i Due Fiumi e i Quattro Laghi, la Collina del Naso d'Elefante, o per raggiungere il Fiume Yulong e l'Antica Città di Xingping, rendendo gli spostamenti facili e senza stress. La camera era immacolata, la biancheria da letto morbida e delicata sulla pelle, sdraiarsi lì ha eliminato ogni stanchezza del viaggio; le ampie finestre a tutta altezza si affacciano direttamente sui verdi monti carsici e le acque limpide, permettendoti di ammirare la nebbia mattutina sulle montagne e di goderti i colori del tramonto la sera, come vivere in un dipinto a inchiostro. Il proprietario e lo staff sono stati super gentili e disponibili, mi hanno subito aiutato con i bagagli all'arrivo, mi hanno consigliato premurosamente i ristoranti preferiti dai locali e gli itinerari da evitare, e al mattino si può gustare un'autentica zuppa di noodle di riso di Guilin preparata al momento. Il cortile comune è elegante e piacevole, perfetto per scattare foto, un'oasi di pace nel cuore della città. Le strutture e i servizi sono completi e di alta qualità, con articoli da toeletta e impianti sanitari eccellenti, curati nei minimi dettagli. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo ha superato di gran lunga le mie aspettative, è assolutamente un tesoro da non perdere a Guilin. La prossima volta che viaggerò con la mia famiglia, sceglierò di nuovo questo posto, lo consiglio vivamente a tutti gli amici che visitano Guilin!

Proprio sulle rive del fiume Li, si scende e si è subito al molo di Guanlian. A pochi minuti a piedi dalla Via Ovest, è un luogo tranquillo ma non isolato. Noleggiare uno scooter elettrico per esplorare la Galleria dei Dieci Miglia e il fiume Yulong è super comodo, spostarsi senza pensieri. Ho prenotato una camera con vista sul fiume, e la finestra panoramica dal pavimento al soffitto incornicia il paesaggio del fiume Li come un quadro! Sdraiarsi a letto per guardare l'alba o ammirare il tramonto la sera crea un'atmosfera incredibile. Il famoso ”Sky Mirror” al nono piano è un must! Offre una vista a 270° senza ostacoli sul fiume Li, con le cime carsiche che si estendono a perdita d'occhio. Ogni foto scattata qui è degna di una copertina. Estetica, posizione, comfort e rapporto qualità-prezzo: tutto perfetto! Se vieni a Yangshuo, scegli questo posto ad occhi chiusi, una volta provato, vorrai tornarci all'infinito~ La prossima volta che verrò a Yangshuo, soggiornerò di nuovo allo Shixi Tianyue! Abbiamo viaggiato con il nostro bambino durante il Dragon Boat Festival e, a parte la pioggia continua, tutto il resto è stato fantastico. L'hotel ci ha offerto un upgrade gratuito della stanza e la birra artigianale prodotta in loco era davvero buona. Avevamo prenotato una culla in anticipo e l'abbiamo trovata pronta con cuscini e coperte piegati ordinatamente all'arrivo. Il nostro bambino si è divertito moltissimo. La piscina dell'hotel è un vero punto di forza: l'acqua era alla giusta temperatura e molto pulita, senza quel forte odore di cloro. Si vede che la curano con attenzione. È stata la prima volta che il nostro bambino ha nuotato ed era super felice. Il ristorante aveva un ambiente piacevole e il cibo era buono, anche se un po' caro. Hanno anche consegnato il cibo in camera. Alla partenza, ci hanno regalato un piccolo giocattolo per il bambino. Se avremo l'occasione, torneremo sicuramente con lui!

This is obviously a very nice hotel and I would recommend and would stay here again. Luxury is very obvious all over this hotel, and it is frankly very cheap for what it is. The moment we came in, bellhops insisted to carry our bags up to the 80th floor lobby. They were always opening doors for us and very helpful with our bags, 24/7. Once we arrived, we were welcomed in and sat down at an individual desk for check in. There, we were served some excellent tea. The hotel purser came over and welcomed us in. My girlfriend is Chinese and spoke to the staff in Chinese, but the purser switched up to English to welcome me to the hotel, which is a nice detail. Most Chinese hotel staff consistently avoid putting in the effort to speak English to me. The hard product is amazing and is matched well with great service. Staff were always attentive and welcoming in both Chinese and English, always saying hello and checking in. The cons: This hotel, just like most Marriott hotels, is trying to nickel and dime you, which doesn’t make a lot of sense at this price point. In some ways it isn’t, such as an included mini-bar (all non-alcoholic), but for example it doesn’t have a laundry service, while basically any 3-5 star hotel in China would have included laundry. Also, there is a car transfer service, but it’s so absurdly priced for no particular reason. 400 rmb+ for basic transfers where as a Didi would be 10 rmb. Similar luxury properties such as the Ritz-Carlton has these amenities included. The restaurants were nice. We only tried Na Lian, which despite being an in-house guest and being told that they could get reservations for us, we basically were treated like walk-in’s despite being told we had reservations (and we were unable to get a window seat). The bar was also nice and we enjoyed it, the staff were very attentive and helpful. The bar manager waited for us to arrive, but the bar consistently had spend limits for any table or reservation, which additionally just seemed silly, considering we were already staying in a booked deluxe room. The drinks and lamb were very good. The menu was a little outdated, and illustrated wine by the glass, but we were then told that the menu is wrong and they don’t do that. Also, there was strangely a lack of extra towels and bins in the room. I found myself walking into the bathroom many times to throw away trash. This is a good hotel and I plan to be back again, but it can definitely improve. Too much nickel and diming. Good service and good products inspire people to come back, which is worth much more than selling one bottle of shampoo and pushing a customer to never return again. Comfy robes and slippers. 9.5/10

Il servizio accogliente, l'ambiente incantevole e la deliziosa colazione dell'hotel, insieme allo squisito tè pomeridiano consegnato ogni giorno in camera, hanno reso il nostro viaggio davvero piacevole. Mia figlia non è andata a fare colazione e il maggiordomo dell'hotel ha gentilmente preparato la sua colazione e gliel'ha portata in camera, il che è stato molto toccante. Il ristorante dell'hotel si trova al sesto piano, dove si può gustare il pasto ammirando il paesaggio: meraviglioso! Anche i dintorni sono molto belli, e la vicinanza alle attrazioni rende gli spostamenti molto comodi.

If you are concerned about the security of your belongings, think carefully before staying at this hotel. I want to state first that the receptionists and front desk staff are excellent and professional. Unfortunately, there is a serious issue with room security and unauthorized entry. I am a returning guest. First stay: 10–14 December, Room 3031 Second stay: 22–24 December, Room 3003 During my first stay, I informed the cleaning supervisor that I did not want housekeeping until 14 December. When my room ran out of bottled water, I spoke to a cleaning staff member who said she would place the water in my room later after I went out. During our conversation, my room door accidentally shut, and she used a master key card to open it. Looking back, she could have simply handed the water to me as her cart was in the hallway. On 12 or 13 December, the same cleaning staff mentioned that they “cannot earn if they do not clean my room.” Feeling pressured, I agreed to allow floor cleaning only. I stood outside the room while two cleaners mopped the toilet, changed towels, and vacuumed the carpet. On 14 December early checkout, I reached for a pair of black slack pants that had been hanging in the closet since 10 December but it was not there. At that time, I assumed the pants may have been accidentally packed into the two bags for the hotel’s luggage storage. I then traveled to other parts of China with light luggage and did no shopping. I returned to the hotel on the night of 22 December and collected my stored bags. The black slack pants were not in them. During second stay at the hotel I did no shopping. After 24th Dec flying home, I discovered something even more alarming. A bundle of newly purchased jeans for my sister and mother during my first stay—packed together in a plastic bag—was missing. At the airport on 24th Dec, my bags were shrink-wrapped and sealed, and is no wander the total weight was at least 1.3 kg lighter than expected. This suggests that someone entered my room when the room was vacant and removed items from my packed luggage. Hotel staff would have known my checkout date, and I had not opened my bags after packing. This experience has caused me great distress. While the front desk service is commendable, the lack of room security and the disappearance of personal belongings is unacceptable. I will not be returning, and I strongly urge management to investigate this matter seriously.

This hotel is a wonderful place to unwind for anyone looking to escape the stress of city life. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptionally attentive every member of staff welcomed us warmly and always greeted us with a genuine smile. The rooms are beautifully designed in a timeless style. What stood out to me most was the high level of cleanliness and the excellent amenities. The view is absolutely breathtaking, and you hardly want to leave your balcony. We also had a private whirlpool, which was perfect for this time of year and made our stay even more relaxing. I would especially like to praise the housekeeping staff. The ladies did an outstanding job—everything was spotless, hygienic, and cleaned very thoroughly. Another true highlight was the incredible food experience. Every afternoon we were treated to attentive afternoon service with desserts that were clearly prepared with love and care. The breakfast deserves special mention. I have stayed at some of the best five-star resorts, and I can honestly say that the quality of the breakfast buffet here was outstanding. While it is smaller than those of large resort chains, it clearly follows the philosophy of quality over quantity, and nothing was missing. Many of the vegetables came from the hotel’s own garden, which made the experience feel even more authentic and fresh. The soup selection was excellent, and the beef soup was rich and generous—you could truly taste the passion and love the chef puts into their work. The surrounding area offers several attractions, although some are unfortunately closed during the winter season. I would recommend arriving by car so you can visit places like the nearby waterfall and other sights. My only small criticism would be that the hotel could offer more excursion options for guests without a car. That said, we really appreciated that on our first evening we were kindly driven to the nearby small town for dinner. The resort is also very family-friendly and offers a variety of activities for both adults and children, such as magnet crafting, fishing, and sports activities like yoga. A very thoughtful gesture was made at checkout, when we were given rice from the hotel’s own cultivation. This was something I truly appreciated and found very meaningful. I would definitely recommend this resort to everyone. My husband and I would love to return—next time in spring.
