Our room was comfortable, spotless, and thankfully free from any cigarette smell. The laundry room was another pleasant surprise, equipped with new and well-maintained washers and dryers, with detergent provided for guests' convenience. All meals are included and served in the dining hall, making the stay truly hassle-free. The food was consistently good, with hotpot available for dinner. Drinks, snacks, and refreshments were also available throughout the day. It would be difficult to leave this place without gaining a little weight! 😜 Given the size of the resort, guests may occasionally need to use the resort's transportation to get around. Fortunately, the waiting time was minimal, and we were able to travel between locations quickly and efficiently. One minor drawback of the resort's impressive size is the walking distance to some rooms. The accommodation blocks are built in a circular layout, and our room happened to be located on the opposite side from the escalator landing. This meant walking past nearly 50 rooms every time we returned to our room. While this could be inconvenient, we did notice that the rooms closer to the escalator often had a noticeable cigarette smell in the corridor. By contrast, our section at the far end was completely free of smoke odours, which made the extra walk worthwhile. Whether these were designated non-smoking rooms, I'm not entirely sure. I can’t recommend Stars Pasture (Xingchen Muju) enough. It truly exceeded all our expectations. We took our family to Huitengxile Grassland, and even before we arrived, we felt the owner’s kindness. He personally came out to help with our luggage and asked about our breakfast preferences for the next day. During our chat, he also shared great tips on nearby activities, which made planning much easier. The deluxe room we booked was much more spacious than we expected, with endless grassland right outside the door. Watching horses and cattle graze in front of our window was amazing. The room was very well equipped. The hairdryer worked well, hot water was plentiful, and they even provided disposable towels, which made everything feel extra clean and comfortable. The bed was soft and cozy, and at night, we could see the beautiful starry sky right from the window. The food was absolutely amazing. The lamb tripe soup in the morning was rich, flavorful, and incredibly comforting. I ended up having several bowls! For dinner, we ordered roasted lamb chops and other local specialties, and everything was delicious. My whole family loved it. You definitely don’t have to worry about food here; the quality is excellent. Plus, the Huanghuagou Scenic Area and other attractions are very close by, so there’s plenty to explore. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. The place is clean, the food is fantastic, and most importantly, the owner’s genuine hospitality made us feel at home. We’re very grateful for how well he took care of us during our visit, and we would come back again.
