I love this place so much that a part of me wants to gatekeep this hidden gem. Fanzhu梵住 is a beautifully curated boutique hotel that delivers outstanding hospitality. I initially booked a 5-day stay but loved it so much that I extended for an extra day, willingly sacrificing my next destination. I was initially worried the hotel might be a ”pretty façade.” Fortunately, Fanzhu met all my needs of functionality and comfort (Breakfast, Air Conditioning, an excellent shower, free self-service laundry, an ideal location). The property is far from perfection, but it overcompensates with simple, heartfelt sincerity. You can feel the tremendous thought and effort poured into this place to make guests feel comfortable. ✨ Highlights, Who Will Love This Place: ✅#English-Speaking Travellers: For foreigners unfamiliar with China, it is extremely helpful that the owner is fluent in English. ✅#Design & Aesthetics: Warm & modern. The property exudes zen-like comfort with charming decors. It has a gorgeous yard, with swimming pool, and ample outdoor seatings. ✅#Remote workers: I didn’t plan to work on this trip, but I could see myself working there remotely. If you come from the city where every building looks like a boxy Lego piece, you will deeply appreciate this place. ✅#Personalized Service: Kudos to the young lady boss! In a place like Wanfenglin where the location pins and 导航 can be vague to foreigners, sh took the time to understand my itinerary, how I planned my routes around Wanfenglin. She gave recommendations, and helped me check my “Destination” input on car hiring app. Airport and railway station pickups can also be arranged easily too. ✅#Immaculate Rooms: THE BED! Oh my, the bed! The linens, pillows, and towels are all premium quality. Even the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash feel luxurious. The bed is so comfortable that I would return just for a sleep-in holiday. Ok I know I’m mentioning the bed twice but it’s worth mentioning thrice. Extra points from me that the rooms are non-smoking. ✅#Location: Before arriving, I read a review describing this place as ”a piece of tranquillity close to the action”. Now I get it. It sits as an independent building on a peaceful road/hill(?), yet it is a short, easy walk to the Bagua fields and Zhong Nahui, where you can find idyllic cafes, little shops, and children playing in the fields. ✅#Breakfast: Delicious local-flavoured noodles!They also offer more conservative standards like toasts, eggs, and coffee. Oh, the hotel has an ice machine! Ooooohh so sexy in the hot weather (apparently ice cubes are rare in Wanfenglin). ✅#The Resident Pets: As a pet lover who willingly pays to visit cat cafes, having resident dog and cats sealed the deal for me. ✅#BONUS TIP: The Rooftop Night Sky. Unassuming and rugged at first glance, I was initially unimpressed. But I heard good reviews from others, so I gave it another go, and am thankful I did! Stay awhile, allow your eyes some time to adjust in the darkness, and you would see the sky completely transforms. On my last night, I saw a shooting star! I kid you not. It was an absolutely unbelievable, unforgettable moment. Incredibly awesome! ⚠️ Considerations Before You Book (Who should avoid): - If you love standard chain hotels. Fanzhu is intimate enough to offer personalized service. But I can imagine some of my more pampered friends who prefer international breakfast buffet spread would struggle to settle for this simplicity. Some things are just not realistic expectations off a boutique. - Mobility needs: There is no elevator. They would graciously carry your suitcases. However, elderly may want to enquire about ground-floor room. - In the midst of nature: If you have zero tolerance for insects, you may want to skip staying in Wanfenglin. It is a humid, lush environment surrounded by fields and trees. Personally, with a body spray of insect repellent, I wasn't bothered at all. - Pet allergies: If you hate pets (but why would you? :( w

I'd like to share my impressions of my stay at this hotel. Firstly, the hotel is very new and designer inside. The view of the village is, I'd say, the best in the area. First things first: the hotel offers a butler service, and when you arrive at the attraction, a butler will meet you and take your luggage. You don't have to bother walking to the bus, which is quite a distance, and the entire scenic area is on a mountain, requiring constant climbing. The hotel is also located on a hillside, so getting to it requires a climb up narrow steps. The butler carried my luggage and accompanied me the entire time. The walk from the entrance to the hotel took about 25 minutes, including the bus and the walk. Upon arrival at the hotel, I was greeted at reception and offered afternoon tea; there were five drinks on the menu. I chose a milk oolong tea with milk, and they offered me fruit, nuts, and homemade cookies. It was delicious. I spent the entire time relaxing, drinking tea, and enjoying the village views. After I'd rested, I went to my room. I was given a room on the 4th floor with the lucky number 888. The room has absolutely everything: excellent Loccitan cosmetics, toiletries, robes, and slippers—everything is of very good quality. There's also a modern hairdryer and steam iron. There was a bath on the balcony, but I didn't use it because it was chilly. The room is really new; it has underfloor heating if you get cold, and also air conditioning. The bed linen, pillows, and blanket were wonderful. I didn't even notice how my night passed; I truly rested for the two nights I stayed at this hotel. The hotel staff explained how I could spend my time and took me to a restaurant where I could have a delicious meal. Then I went for a walk. I spent the entire evening strolling around the village and taking in the sights. That evening, when I returned, I was offered evening soup, which I really enjoyed; it was very unusual. Since I was a foreign tourist, the hotel staff communicated with me using a translator via WeChat, which was very convenient and prevented any misunderstandings. The next morning, I was offered breakfast, which was served on the first floor of the hotel. The dining room was also very beautiful and well-renovated. After breakfast, I went for a walk around the village to take beautiful photos. I had a wonderful time in the village, taking in the sights. I especially enjoyed the local people's show on New Year's Eve, as well as the singing of the women and men of the Miao people. The day before my departure, the hotel staff asked what time my return tickets to Guiyang would be and told me they would arrange for me to be transported to the entrance so I could call a taxi. I would give this hotel the highest rating, firstly because it's in a wonderful location on a mountain with a magnificent view, and literally a three-minute walk from the main observation deck. I would also give the highest rating to the hotel personnel, and especially to the butler his wechat name Velpro, they are all tried their best to help me and accompanied me on all my questions. I would also give the highest rating to the hotel owners, who care about the interior order, cleanliness, and the care of their guests. This level of hospitality is truly rare. If I return to this village, I will definitely stay at this hotel. I recommend it to everyone.

La città di Guiyang ha un clima davvero buono e tanti snack deliziosi. Questa volta ho scelto di soggiornare al Pullman Hotel di Guiyang. L'hotel si trova nella zona urbana Anche se l'ambiente esterno è un po' vecchiotto, è molto fumoso. Inoltre, il trasporto è molto economico, viaggiare è molto conveniente ed è anche molto vicino all'aeroporto. Il personale della reception dell'hotel è stato molto gentile e mi ha organizzato con cura una camera confortevole. Mi hanno anche consigliato degli snack deliziosi, il che mi ha fatto sentire molto al caldo. Era una bella esperienza!

The hotel is within walking distance to xiaoqingkong bridge. We had a good time over there. The breakfast was excellent and the room was very clean. I was not impressed with service though. First we couldn’t make the AC working right and the room was freezing. We called the front desk for help. The service person wouldn’t even enter our room to check and told us nothing could be done but to turn it off. Second, we ordered hotel transportation to take us the the tourist center the next morning at 7:15 so we could take an early train back. We arrived at the front desk to find out that no arrangements had been made and they called the driver after we got there and were ready to leave. The driver didn’t arrive until after 7:30, 15 minutes after our scheduled departure time! Luckily we planned a little extra time and didn’t miss our trains but the service was unacceptable.

Questo hotel è il più vicino aeroporto che abbia mai soggiornato in Cina. La stanza è spigola e spaziosa. La stanza che mi è stata assegnata al livello ottavo mi permette di vedere chiaramente il terminale aeroportuale, i ponti di osservazione, la stazione ferroviaria aeroportuale e i voli che parteno dall'aeroporto. In generale, sono molto felice di stare in questo hotel, ma il ristorante dell'hotel è chiuso a notte e il ricevitore non è intorno a prendere gli ordini di camera. Mangio pane durian al caffè dell'hotel vicino al concierge per pranzo. Rimarrò qui, certamente, di nuovo nell'ottobre 2025.

What I found surpassed dreams: delicate petals dancing against karst mountains, quiet paths where time softened. Poetry in motion. But the true bloom wasn't only in the trees—it was in the people. Casa Lilium: More Than a Stay Casa Lilium redefines hospitality. Serene elegance rivals any 5-star boutique—yet with warmth no chain could replicate. Every corner whispers thoughtful curation: crisp linens, ambient lighting, spotless spaces that feel both luxurious and lived-in. The Heart of It All: Our Landlady Words fail, but I'll try: she is heartfelt, organized, effortlessly kind. When I arrived shivering in Anshun's 8°C March air, she appeared minutes later with a soft cardigan and knowing smile: ”For you, so you can enjoy our beauty comfortably.” That small gesture made me feel profoundly seen. When I mentioned wanting to capture Anshun through video, she acted. Within hours, she connected me with a talented local photographer—a true artist. The footage? Breathtaking. She gifted me memories I'll hold forever. A European's Truth: ”I Felt Home” The subtle loneliness of being far from familiar faces simply dissolved here. Language barriers softened through smiles and genuine care. Cultural distance? Bridged by shared tea, laughter, and her pride in showing me her Anshun. I didn't feel like a foreigner. I felt like a guest who'd been warmly awaited. Why This Review? Because travel at its best isn't about places—it's about connections. Casa Lilium isn't just accommodation; it's a portal to experiencing Guizhou with grace. The blossoms will bloom again. But feeling genuinely cared for? That's rare. That's precious. What I like most is : The room is on the fourth floor. I didn’t pay for an expensive room so the room looks out to the backyard which is disorganized. If I pay more I would’ve gotten a better view. What I pay is what I get obviously. Nevertheless the room is very very nice. It has many lights and well lit and I love it. I can read without feeling that I am living inside a cave. The smart toilet is a place to for buttock massage.  The breakfast is quiet good.. It has fruit, bao zi and a freshly made bowl of rice noodles. The hotel offers fruit for free . I love to have fruit and the fact that I don’t have to buy it and carry it back to the hotel. I have daily house keeping . My garbage was emptied.  There are 2 massage chairs that are very good. The hotel decor in the lobby and the room are very pleasant. The owner has good ‘taste’. I am not a big fan of disposable towels. If there is anything I prefer, is I want to cloth bathing towels. I felt like I used a piece of enormous napkins to dry my body. This is not a deal breaker though as I only stay 2 nights. If I stay longer, there would be anything else to do because I complete the whole circuit in less than 4 hours. The next day I went to Yao Shan and there wasn’t many people . But being 65, the entrance is free but I paid 20 rmb for the short bus ride. I paid 15 rmb one way on a DiDi there and the same coming back. The location is at the extreme end of this neighborhood and would require a 10 minutes uphill to the entrance. The park is quite big. You have to walk 10 minutes to 15 minutes to the entrance, then after you buy the ticket, another 10 minutes to the bus stop so it is quite a lot of walking before you begin your journey. If I have to do it all over again, I would have spent more time at every stop. I misunderstood that route A and route B is different. Route B is exactly the same as route A in reverse. The information given by the owner should include the trail from the bus top to the bridge . There is an option to ride a boat and then walk a bit. The trail is easy to walk and well maintained and quite pleasant early in the morning and before closing as there will be fewer people . The hotel is a bit far if you have a lot of luggages.  In summary, this hotel is the only one that offers breakfast in my 5 weeks through China and it was surprising good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

很好，前台幫我們升級了一號樓的房間。感覺住一號樓體驗感還是很不錯的，預算充足的情況下更推薦一號樓。景區有行李託運服務，酒店會幫忙直接送到房間裏。在寨口也可以做擺渡車直接到酒店門口。房間隔音好，非常乾淨，還配備了浴袍。廁所乾濕分離，有兩個洗手池。酒店還送來了果碟。第二天的早餐很豐盛，中西式都有。酒店在半山腰，離核心景區還是有點距離的，不過應該可以坐到其他離得更近的酒店下車，然後步行前往核心景區。總體而言在烏江寨還是一次不錯的體驗。

Ambiente: L'ambiente è bello e piacevole, proprio ai piedi del monte Fanjing. Dotazioni: stile di design in stile Guizhou, stile unico, rinfrescante, mi piace! Salute: il livello generale corrisponde al livello dei prezzi! Ho ricevuto un prezzo basso a causa della bassa stagione, ma c'è qualcosa che non va nell'asciugamano da bagno. I capelli cadranno quando mio marito si asciugherà dopo aver fatto la doccia? Quindi ho scelto il mio asciugamano da bagno usa e getta! La porta del bagno non si chiude ermeticamente e il soffione della doccia oscilla da un lato all'altro! La stanza 211 deve essere riparata! Servizio: la signora che mi ha fatto il check-in mi ha aiutato a migliorare la mia stanza! Grazie mille! Quando siamo partiti, la governante Xiaoman è stata molto disponibile nel portare i bagagli e nel controllare la carta. Nel complesso, tutte le donne delle pulizie sono state molto gentili. Hanno risposto a tutte le domande con entusiasmo e complimenti! Altamente raccomandato!

L'hotel è nel cuore della zona sceneggiata, il paesaggio è buono.Ma il servizio di lavaggio dell'intera zona sceneggiata non è abbastanza perfetto. I turisti di Siemen devono prima prendere l'auto alla porta orientale, poi prendere l'auto di carico all'hotel, e ogni stazione deve fermarsi. È molto sprecato tempo, rispetto a Wu Zhen, che è davvero indietro in questo senso. Le performance di tutti i programmi durante il Festival di primavera hanno un senso di atmosfera, e il tono generale è molto rilassante, o buono!
