Nuova Zelanda: hotel con servizio colazione nella provincia di West Coast

We were greeted with warm hospitality by the owner Angela when we arrived to check into Franz Josef Oasis. The executive king suite room was clean, cosy and spacious. We enjoyed sitting on the sofas with warm blankets place for our comfort near the fireplace. The location of this place is also good as it 5 minutes drive to the town where we had a delicious dinner at Blue Ice Restaurant and Bar which was recommended to us by Angela. The service is excellent and I will definitely recommend this place to those who are travelling to Franz Josef !

The hotel is great within walking distance to the train station for Tranzalpine, restaurant in the hotel offer awesome food and drink, the room is slightly basic with no air conditioning, however it has a fan and a heater

Siamo arrivati circa le 9:00 e la proprietà era piuttosto buia. Il reception desk aveva un stick sulla porta indicando la nostra assegnazione. avevamo prenotato 2 camere, ma purtroppo entrambe avevano bug (moto) in essi. Da quando siamo arrivati tardi, non ci sono nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno ne Abbiamo trovato un bar vicino online che era stato annunciato come aperto fino alle 1:00, ma quando abbiamo chiamato, ci hanno informato che si stavano chiudendo presto a causa di una notte tranquilla. Tuttavia, erano gentili e ci preparavano alcuni chip, samosa e rulli di primavera, che apprezziamo come la nostra unica opzione per cena. Per gli ospiti che arrivano tardi, consiglio fortemente di consigliarli di acquistare cibo in anticipo.

It is alright, but not great - certainly it is worn around the edges. It is the first place I stayed in during my 3 week holiday with no fridge... So much for the by now warm riggers of beer I bought at breweries en route. The service was never with any kind of smile. The food in their restaurant was adequate and the beer was, to my taste, bland and unexciting. Staying here is not a disaster, but nor is it memorable. For the amount they must make (the room was not inexpensive) they could and should do better. But I guess it is a captive market in season, and ”just about good enough” is all they need to bother with.

Dato che il letto era troppo morbido e la doccia era molto debole e la temperatura era molto difficile, doveva essere un piombo per impostare la temperatura ottimale. Il frigo non ha funzionato.Il pulsante del misuratore di temperatura è stato rotto

I think it's one of the best legit hotel in Franz Josef. Staff are so nice. I had to cancel 1 night of my stay, as my main activity (the glacier hike) got cancelled due to bad weather. Hotel was kind enough to accommodate and refund me 1 night. Its definitely a nice place to stay.

La posizione è molto buona a Hokitika, sulla spiaggia, e ci sono diversi posti di pranzo rilassati, la pizza di Fat Pipi è molto buona e i Triple B Burgers hanno molto grandi e bellissimi hamburger. La stanza di King era ben accanto alle foto, ma sembrava che non ci fosse assolutamente nessuna prova di rumore tra le camere.

We had been advised by a relative that this hotel on the beach was worth staying at. We had a deluxe room up on the hill across the main road so we were not actually on the beach. However the view of the ocean was fantastic particularly in the stormy weather. Due to the weather we had to drive down to the restaurant for breakfast. Restaurant fully booked out by tour groups for dinner but the tavern about 1.5km down the road saw us right for a meal. The complex seemed to have several different standards of rooms and I think ours was the best.

Buona posizione, vicino alla stazione ferroviaria, Woolworth e ristoranti e caffè. Forniscono latte per il caffè. Ci hanno dato suggerimenti su dove esplorare. Condurre facilmente a Shanty Town e 30 minuti a Glow Worm Dell. Tuttavia, portate i vostri bagni come lo shampoo, il condizionatore e il lavaggio del corpo - nessuno li posiziona, ma sul pavimento. Ci sono stati bug che volano nella stanza come la cucina/la toilette faccia il giardino. Ho morso sul dito e un punto sul mio viso. Nessun fornitore di energia vicino al letto, ma nella zona della cucina.

La posizione è stata decente per una piccola città, con una mini mart vicino e diverse opzioni di cena. Il personale era molto carino e amichevole. Uno dei miei familiari non era sicuro di come usare il cappello riscaldato, quindi non l'hanno presa, il che lo faceva sembrare che la stanza non fosse usata. Il giorno dopo, il personale chiese di controllare se fossimo in ordine, perché erano preoccupati che potevamo avere un freddo da non usare il cappello riscaldato.
