A New Hotel with Potential, but Service Falls Short of Five-Star Standards Pros The hotel is clearly new, and the room is spacious, modern, and equipped with brand-new furniture and fixtures. The bed is comfortable, the air conditioning works very well, and the plumbing is in good condition. Breakfast is included in the room rate. The hotel appears to cater primarily to Chinese tourists, with large tour groups arriving by coach. Accordingly, breakfast is largely Chinese-style, which may not suit everyone's tastes. The breakfast area can also be quite noisy, as guests often speak loudly, sometimes seemingly trying to talk over one another. This makes breakfast less relaxing than one might expect. On the positive side, the staff are very accommodating and are happy to prepare alternatives upon request. For example, they kindly made an omelette for me, which I appreciated. Another highlight is the rooftop bar on the seventh floor, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area. Cons Unfortunately, several issues detract from the overall experience. There was no soap in the bathroom, despite shampoo and shower gel being provided in the shower. The shower drain was extremely slow, forcing me to turn off the water periodically to prevent the bathroom from flooding. In addition, an unpleasant musty smell frequently came from the bathroom. The Wi-Fi connection was unreliable and kept disconnecting, which was frustrating. Despite having a kettle, tea bags, and instant coffee in the room, there were no cutlery items at all, not even a teaspoon to stir the coffee. Such a small detail, yet an important one when it comes to basic room amenities. The curtains also close automatically every time you return to the room, meaning you have to open them again manually using a button during the daytime. This is a rather odd and inconvenient feature. Another issue is housekeeping. Daily cleaning is not provided automatically and must be requested by displaying the appropriate sign. This is an unexpected policy for a hotel claiming five-star status. The location is another drawback. The hotel is situated away from the main part of town, where most restaurants, cafés, and other activities are concentrated. It takes approximately 15 minutes to walk to the centre, including around 200 metres along a very dusty road. This makes walking back and forth less pleasant, especially if you plan to visit the town centre several times a day. Overall impression The hotel has a solid foundation: it is new, spacious, and comfortable in several respects. The comfortable bed, effective air conditioning, and rooftop bar are definite advantages. However, the service and attention to detail do not match the five-star category it claims to offer. For me, five-star hospitality means consistent, uncompromising standards. Guests should not have to ask for basic bathroom essentials, improvise when making coffee, deal with a poorly draining shower and unpleasant bathroom odours, endure an unreliable Wi-Fi connection, or explicitly request routine housekeeping. The noisy breakfast environment and the dusty road leading to the town centre also make the overall experience less comfortable. Individually, some of these issues may seem minor, but together they reveal significant shortcomings in service, maintenance, and quality control. A five-star hotel should not require guests to make compromises on such basic aspects of their stay. The hotel has potential, but considerable improvements are needed in day-to-day operations, housekeeping, maintenance, and attention to detail before it can truly deliver a five-star experience.

Room 554: Great View, but Keycard Was Deactivated Before Check-out Time I booked the room for around USD 68.06 per night, excluding breakfast. When making the reservation, I requested a higher-floor room away from the lift with a good view. I was assigned Room 554, a twin room on the right side of the building, close to the stairs. The room had a very nice mountain view. Overall, the room was clean and well maintained. The beds and pillows were quite soft and comfortable, although the beds were a bit small. The bathroom in the twin room is fully enclosed, so there is no glass wall overlooking the bedroom, which I actually found to be a plus when sharing the room with a colleague or friend. There was no bathtub. Shaving kits were also not provided in the room and had to be requested from the reception desk. **Food & Catering: the snacks served during the coffee breaks were fairly basic and, personally, I did not find them particularly impressive. On the first morning, chicken satay was served as one of the snack options. On the second day, rambutan and longan were provided. Unfortunately, I happened to take one piece of fruit that was already spoiled. Lunch was arranged by the meeting organisers and consisted of Lao food. The taste was fairly ordinary for me. One dish I remember was Luang Prabang-style papaya salad, but the smell was quite strong. The sticky rice was individually wrapped in plastic bags. The portions were also more than sufficient, although most of the dishes seemed to consist mainly of meat, so there was not much variety in terms of vegetables. The main issue: I stayed at the hotel for two nights because I was attending a two-day meeting there, but I made separate bookings for each night. On the first night, I stayed in Room 218. I understood that the check-out time was 12:00 noon. On the day of check-out, my meeting finished shortly before noon, so I returned to my room at around 11:54 to collect my belongings before checking out. However, when I tried to use my keycard at around 11:54, I found that it had already been deactivated, even though it was still before the stated 12:00 check-out time. I mentioned this to the housekeeping staff nearby. She contacted reception and asked me to go to the front desk. When I explained the situation, the staff told me that the keycard system automatically deactivates the cards at around 11:30. I was quite surprised by this because, in all the hotels I have stayed at before, a keycard normally remains valid until the official check-out time, or guests are at least informed in advance if the card will be deactivated earlier. This incident did not ruin my stay, but I hope the hotel can review its keycard policy and either keep the cards active until the stated check-out time or clearly inform guests that the cards will be deactivated earlier.

The location was great. It's close to restaurant and bar but the hotel was not too much clean such as hallway (They are still in renovating may be...) Due to too close to river, there are too much mosquitos and take care of these. Others that would like to suggestion the hotel. The hotel should not let the dogs free on lobby, hallway. The guest is pay for vacation and place for relax and some people are not comfortable on them. All of suggestions for hotel to development services and if i have chance to go back, i will visit once. :)

L'hotel non è molto nuovo, è ovvio.Lo specchio della stanza era scomparso, rotto con la forza. Non c'è WiFi, tranne nella zona di accoglienza. La foto dell'edificio mostra balconi in tutte le camere sul lato della foto. Ma la mia camera non aveva nessuna. Non c'era servizio in camera quotidiana. Per il resto era tutto a posto. Ben mantenuto, pulito, tranquillo all'interno e vista montana dalle finestre. Pequeno frigo, AC, bagno pieno di lavoro. (Lungo aspettare acqua calda) Il buffet del colazione era grande. La piscina davanti all'ingresso era buona. La zona di seggio intorno ai poveri. Mi mancava davvero una zona più grande e più bello, forse il giardino come intorno. Soprattutto perché non avevo balcone. Io andrei di nuovo lì per dormire e fare colazione, ma per le vacanze voglio avere un posto decente anche all'aperto.

Ottima struttura dove trascorrere il soggiorno a Vang Vieng e dove molte persone di altre strutture vengono per farsi le foto sulla passerella con uno sfondo da cartolina sulle risaie. Personale preparato e molto disponibile. Buona capicità nel parlare e comprendere la lingua inglese. Ci è stato offerto a sorpresa un upgrade della nostra camera a superior. Colazione servita sulla veranda della nostra camera nell'ora e con il menù che avevamo indicato il giorno prima. Scelta di menù per la colazione internazionale. Lontana dalla confusione e molto silenziosa di notte. Camera superior molto spaziosa ed indipendente dalle altre come un bungalow. Camera molto pulita con bagno ampio dotata di tutto il necessario per caffé, tè e con degli ottimi biscotti. Prezzo un po' sopra la media ma ne vale i soldi spesi. Ristorante molto buono ma con prezzi poco sopra la media del posto ma un po' tanto piccante e speziato. Presente u

Si sono verificati due problemi durante l'utilizzo di questo hotel (per 3 notti). Il primo è che al momento del check-in mi è stato assegnato un hotel accanto (Nice View Guesthouse) gestito dalla stessa compagnia senza motivo. La camera era al 1° piano, quindi non c'erano problemi con i servizi o con le dimensioni, ma non c'era alcuna insonorizzazione e potevo sentire i suoni degli uccelli, dei cani e dei gatti e le voci delle persone fin dal primo mattino, rendendolo difficile dormire bene la notte. Inoltre, anche se c'era una finestra, era dal lato della reception, e se non chiudevi le tende, gli altri potevano vedere dentro, quindi non potevi aprire le tende, e anche se le aprivi, non potevi Non vedere fuori, fa sentire la stanza chiusa. Il giorno successivo ho presentato un reclamo e sono stato scambiato con una camera al secondo piano dell'hotel originale. Per fortuna non era una coincidenza aerea, quindi non è stato un problema fatale, ma non posso fare a meno di sorridere anche se qualcuno mi chiede scusa con un sorriso sulle labbra. Quando si tratta di alloggi economici in Laos, tali prenotazioni, accordi e promesse sono piuttosto inaffidabili, quindi assicurati di verificare con più persone più volte. The stay was okay, but unfortunately the staff were not very friendly and didn’t even greet guests, which made me feel unwelcome. Also, the prices for renting a scooter were almost twice as high as at other places nearby. Overall, it was fine, but I expected a warmer atmosphere and fairer prices.

Sensazioni contrastanti su questo hotel. Di positivo c'è che è un hotel nuovo, tutto è abbastanza pulito, c'è un balcone privato e tutto questo a un prezzo ragionevole. La posizione è buona, un po' fuori dalla rumorosa zona delle feste, ma non troppo, quindi si è comunque in centro. Ma ci sono alcuni aspetti negativi da sottolineare: ci sono due grandi vetrate sul davanti e sul retro, che non piacciono a tutti. C'è anche una vasca da bagno con un'ampia finestra e una bella vista, tuttavia l'hotel è progettato in modo che il vicino possa guardare nella vasca dal suo balcone a solo 1 metro di distanza, il che è imbarazzante. Inoltre, l'acqua non è calda al massimo, solo 40 gradi, quindi non è possibile fare un bagno completo. Lo scarico del water non funzionava. Gli interruttori della luce sono strani perché alcuni funzionano con un interruttore meccanico e altri con un sensore che reagisce ai movimenti, il personale non me l'ha detto e ci ho messo molto tempo a capirlo. Guarda, nessuno lo usa ed è scomodo per gli ospiti, usa semplicemente i normali interruttori della luce e, idealmente, etichettali. Poi c'è la colazione, la macchina del caffè era rotta e il cibo era mediocre nella migliore delle ipotesi. Il personale è stato cordiale e ha fatto del suo meglio. Prenoterei di nuovo? In realtà sì, forse, ha una certa proposta di valore, ma dai dettagli si può vedere che molto potenziale è stato sprecato da scelte di design discutibili o dalla mancanza di manutenzione.

Il soggiorno è assolutamente sorprendente - è chiaro che i proprietari si fidano del loro hotel. La piscina e la zona di piscina è incredibilmente pulita. Il colazione è fantastico, frutta fresca (variata e molte di esso) contenuta in un frigorifero (così fresca, fredda e senza bug come molti altri hotel). Il signore che gestisce l'hotel è così utile, ha prenotato diverse tour per noi, ci ha guadagnato un buon prezzo e è paziente quando abbiamo cambiato i nostri piani più volte. Le aree comuni sono incredibilmente pulite, il personale lavora sempre duramente per fare qualcosa per l'hotel. La posizione è eccellente - camminabile per tutto a Vang Vieng, vicino a alcuni bellissimi ristoranti (Green, Vela, battute e morsi). Tutto nella stanza funzionava perfettamente. Il doccia aveva una grande pressione e una grande temperatura. Il letto era estremamente comodo e la TV era caricata con app per guardare la TV (utilizziamo Plex come aveva show e film in lingua inglese). Il bagno ha sapone, shampoo e asciugamani freschi ogni giorno. Il tetto è sorprendente, lo abbiamo usato invece di andare a bar. L'hotel vende birra al frigorifero alla reception. Molto consiglia questo hotel. In realtà non abbiamo trovato alcuna colpa con questo hotel, abbiamo sentito molti ospiti prenotare per soggiornare notti extra esprimendo quanto felice erano con il soggiorno all'hotel e al colazione.

The place located a bit far from Vangvieng city center but it's a perfect place for staycation. We went there on week day so there's not a lot of people stay in the hotel which is very good for our group. Hotel have a wonderful view of mountain and river for us to just sit and stair at it, but if you prefer to swim can go ahead! Staff are very friendly and ready to help, 100% satisfy with all service. We contacted hotel staff before our visit so they turn on the AC ready before our arrival. We also met two lovely siberian husky there too!
