Giappone: hotel con servizio colazione nella provincia di Prefettura di Tochigi

It was pretty good. I stayed in the dorms. The only problem I encountered was that the dorms are really large (20 people) so the chance that you’re sharing a room with someone inconsiderate increases. One guy left his alarm on for 6am in his bunk while he went to the bath and it rung for the full 10 minutes. There’s nothing the hotel really could do about that- it’s just a structural note. I had both the breakfast and the dinner twice. Breakfast was decent and dinner was good. The lack of staffing really told at dinner though. The cold dishes and the ones where timing was more forgiving were very good, some of the hot dishes were just OK (never bad though). Given the effort the small team is putting in to work I think a couple more hands in the kitchen might ease timing and elevate the food quality to be more consistent. The dinner menu was almost identical between nights. I think they use the solids from the onion soup to make the salad dressing and maybe since the soup changed on night 2 I didn’t get dressing- which is a shame because it was very tasty. Onsen is sulfurous. There were a bunch of of dead bugs in the outside one, but it’s springtime in the mountains. I guess the only way to deal with that would be staff checking often and they have good staff but very few of them.

I don’t understand why someone would leave a negative review due to their own negligence. Trip.com clearly mentioned the additional 300-yen tax (I assume this is the onsen tax) per person, yet they still claimed they were “scammed.” My overall experience at Hotel Euro City was wonderful. The staff were extremely nice and helpful, and the shuttle bus service was amazing. If you want to get to the hotel easily, check the shuttle schedule on the hotel’s homepage so you don’t have to walk from the station. They run it every day at 9:00, 9:30, 10:00, 15:15, 16:15, 17:15, and 18:15 from “Nikko Station Hotel Classic,” right next to JR Nikko Station. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the onsen in the backyard was great. It’s true that the room had a mild smell, but I assume it was due to recent pest control (it smelled like pesticide). Just open the windows for a while and it goes away. Breakfast was okay—not as fancy as in the advertisements, maybe because it wasn’t peak season. Overall, I think this is a very good choice, especially if you’re traveling with family. 自分の不注意が原因なのに、なぜ悪いレビューを書くのか理解できません。Trip.com にはきちんと「1人あたり300円の追加税金（おそらく入湯税）」と明記されているのに、それでも「だまされた」と書く人がいます。 私のホテル・ユーロシティでの滞在はとても快適でした。スタッフの皆さんはとても親切で、シャトルバスのサービスも素晴らしかったです。駅から歩きたくない場合は、ホテルのホームページでシャトルバスの時刻を確認すると良いと思います。毎日、JR日光駅のすぐ隣にある「日光ステーションホテルクラシック」から 9:00／9:30／10:00／15:15／16:15／17:15／18:15 に運行しています。 部屋は広くて快適で、裏庭にある温泉もとても良かったです。確かに部屋には少し匂いがありましたが、おそらく害虫駆除をした後の匂い（殺虫剤のような匂い）だと思います。窓を開けてしばらく換気すればなくなります。 朝食は普通で、広告ほど豪華ではありませんでしたが、ハイシーズンではなかったためかもしれません。全体的に、特に家族連れの方にはとても良い選択だと思います。

Love the area and the outdoor public baths. The meals were good. My husband complained that there’s no meat but I like all the vegetarian dishes provided. Tasted very good. There’s a small fried fish and few sashimi slices. My husband rates the food to be 3/10 while I rate it 5/10 as I am amazed at how they make vegetarian dishes so well. They do not serve any fish for breakfast which is quite unlike other ryokan we had been to. They had more vegetables and an egg for breakfast. I liked it though. The ryokan had free shuttle service for pick up and drop off to coincide with the bus times, very convenient, responsible and timely.

Clean hotel with open-air onsen. Breakfast with a great view of the autumn foliage, even spotted monkeys! Enjoyable relaxing stay. Lobby also has free drinking lounge, superb!! 👍🏼😊 Free shuttle service to Tobu-Nikko station.

Molto bello in generale. Ho soggiornato per 3 notti. Il personale è molto bello e utile. La stanza è spaziosa e ha una vista molto bello, rispetto allo stesso hotel a prezzo vicino al lago. Solo alcuni commenti sui pasti. L'hotel offre colazione e cena per la mia prenotazione. Colazione (mini buffet piace) opzioni rimaneno le stesse, intendo assolutamente le stesse. Per cena, la prima notte è sorprendente, con pollo caldo, bistec, appetito e dolcezza. La seconda notte, Sukiyaki (come un hotpot di carne con una zuppa/sauce dolce e un rawegg), appetito e dolce. Ok, direi, come sperava di vedere qualcosa di più diverso e, per me, è un po' come una versione ridotta (non molto) della prima notte. E la terza notte, carne di bovino Shabu-shabu (pot a base di acqua), appetito e dessert. E'decepcionante, come la seconda notte di Sukiyaki, ma prendendo le uova gregge e la zuppa dolce. Per quanto riguarda i Signori, ogni uomo e ogni donna ha una notte all'interno e all'esterno, non troppo grande, ma abbastanza grande, perché non c'è molta gente che la usa durante il mio soggiorno. Non sono sicuro che sia normale per il Japan Onsen, ma vedo che ci sono molti materiali nel onsen esterno. Non posso dire che cosa sono, tipo di pelle morta a me. Non troppo comodo (anche se sono andato lì tre volte durante il mio soggiorno).

L'hotel è nuovo, conveniente e convenientemente situato vicino sia alla stazione ferroviaria che al terminale degli autobus. Non c'è bisogno di preoccuparsi di cibo, dal momento che c'è un McDonald’s proprio davanti all'hotel. Il servizio è anche eccellente - il personale è molto amichevole e in grado di comunicare in più lingue, ma c'è un colpo. La stanza era piuttosto polverosa, e anche se io sono rimasto per diverse notti, l'hotel non ha fornito servizio di pulizia giornaliera. Gli ospiti devono pagare un supplemento se vogliono pulire la stanza.

The location is really good. 10 mins away from the station. Easy to find. Big hotel, about 11 floors. The room is quite spacious, part in western style with beds and part in japaneese with tatamis. There is sink in themiddle of the room, quite comfy. Good view to the mountain and forest from the window, 9th floor. Nice yukata to wear, i liked the outerpart. Breakfast and dinner is buffet, quite big choice, free beer for dinner, not so many fruits, no cakes for breakfast (dinner only). There is sushi and sashimi choice, delicious food. Onsen is quite good, clean, big. Will recommend to stay here

La posizione è ottima, tra Tobu Nikko e JR Nikko. È possibile depositare i bagagli in hotel prima di partire, senza doverli depositare in stazione. La stanza è molto pulita e non piccola. Le scatole possono essere distribuite nella stanza tripla. È simile alla struttura che si ottiene posizionando i materassi sui tatami. La distanza tra i letti è relativamente ridotta. Ho prenotato un menù fisso per la cena, cosa che personalmente non consiglio. L'hotel mi ha dato dei buoni per la cena (2.500 yen a persona) e ho preso una navetta per un posto simile a un'area ristorazione. L'orario era relativamente fisso e la scelta di varietà e sapori era effettivamente accettabile, ma se si hanno le condizioni per cenare con prodotti locali, questa non è la scelta migliore.
