La ricevitrice, una signora matura, si è assicurata dal momento che siamo arrivati che tutto andrebbe bene anche se fossimo inglesi. Ha aiutato mia moglie con la farmacia locale (grazie).L'hotel dispone di un ampio parcheggio. Parti dell'hotel hanno anche una storia interessante della ferrovia irlandese. L'hotel è vicino a una decente strada alta a 5 minuti a piedi. Sono anche serviti Murphy nel bar! La stanza era buona, ma era la storia all'interno dell'hotel e la conversione del ponte ferroviario in un'area bevande molto romantica. La colazione era molto buona e competitiva senza lamentele da me Irish colazione come un inglese per me! Si', ci stiamo pianificando di nuovo l'anno prossimo.

My partner and I stayed in the hotel for one night sadly wasn’t longer.It was my partners birthday and they made her feel so special and even gave us a complimentary dessert.The food was stunning and Staff were incredible.The lady on reception was excellent and dedicated .

Our choir held its workshop in Garryvoe hotel in October, 2024. 50 choir members attended this workshop. Most of those attending, stayed in Garryvoe Hotel. Feedback from all choir members was mostly very positive. As all choir members live a short distance from Cork city, the commute to and from the hotel was short. Garryvoe’s picturesque setting met with the delight of all choir members. The close proximity to the beachfront meant choir members were able to enjoy a leisurely walk along the beachfront during any free period. More adventurous members were able to enjoy a sea-swim. Rooms were spacious, clean and some members enjoyed a sea-view at no additional cost. The Breakfast menu was good and included ‘fresh fish of the day’. This was cooked simply, but well, and tasted as fresh fish should! Evening meal was a set-menu, which was hosted in the function room and enjoyed by all. Pre-ordered lunch offered a variety of sandwiches/wraps and soup of the day. However, one choir member, with a dietary requirement, found staff unwilling to facilitate, in any meaningful way, her dietary requirement. Being a large choir, the library, which is adjacent to the main bar, was very suitably located for our ‘après evening meal’ choir sing-song. All in all, a very positive experience and a hotel where Cór Geal choir would definitely consider visiting again.

Abbiamo soggiornato per due notti venerdì e sabato 6&7th di dicembre. L'atmosfera all'arrivo era altro come il show del giocattolo tardi tardi era in televisione quella sera e l'hotel aveva messo in un senso molto festivo. Il check-in era diretto in avanti e il personale al desk era in grande forma e vi ha fatto sentire molto benvenuti dall'uscita. La nostra stanza era un rovesciatore e avevamo una bella terrazza che guardava intorno ai luoghi dell'hotel che sono molto ben tenuti, ma era dicembre in Irlanda, quindi non lo menzioneremo. La stanza era ben decorata, calda e disponeva di un sacco di strutture per l'uso, tè/caffeina, TV, ecc. Mangiamo entrambe le notti in hotel e il cibo era al massimo e il personale era sia efficiente e amichevole e le infinite domande dei molti bambini non sembravano preoccupare nessuno di loro. Se siete coelia non temete che questo hotel vi cure durante ogni pasto, attraverso il giorno con eccellenti scelte. Questo è un hotel che deve provare se soggiornare a West Cork ha qualcosa per tutti, grandi strutture di centro ricreativo e vicino a tutto in Clon. Se avessi un negativo per dire che sarebbe stato solo diretto a me, avrei dovuto rimanere un'altra notte.

The handicapped facility rooms whereas they are very well intentioned are actually a disaster and management should take issue with their architect and/or your interior architect and health/welfare adviser. 1. The handicapped bathrooms are an accident waiting to happen. The sloped floors are too steep and my handicapped daughter's walker would roll/slide away from her with the back wheel brakes fully on when she was on the toilet. She was terrified of the slope and almost fell several times. The bathroom in the room I was in was also for a handicapped person and whereas I am not a handicapped person, the first time I walked in it, I stumbled and had to use the wall to save me from falling. I had a few more stumbles during the course of the stay but I was better prepared for them/ 2. The bedroom was not big enough for the furniture and a handicapped person besides and was far too cluttered because of size versus content. My daughter could not access the window side of the bed at all and I had to push the bed about one foot towards the window so that using her walker she was actually able to access the bed on the bathroom side of it and get in and out of it. These points seriously need to be looked at before somebody has a serious accident.

Siamo stati una notte, durante il nostro viaggio in Irlanda, struttura molto grande, ristrutturata alla belle meglio, camera silenziosa e pulita, personale gentile e cordiale. Data la posizione, con la strada con parcheggi liberi non a pagamento anche abbastanza vicino, merita fare un giro a piedi fino alla basilica per godersi la solita vista delle casette colorate.

Our host was friendly and helpful, and we liked the easy parking at the B&B. Our two rooms were very clean and met our needs. Breakfast was tasty and there were several options from which to choose. Fortunately there is a small pub with good food that’s about a 15-min countryside walk from the property; otherwise you will need to drive to a restaurant.
