Dorsett Gold Coast boasts a prime location, just one street away from the large shopping centre Pacific Fair. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and it only takes a 10-minute walk to get to the beach. The hotel entrance is right at the Tram Station. The room facilities are quite good, featuring a small balcony that offers a view of the sea when opened. However, the shower water pressure is somewhat weak, and the floor gets a bit slippery when wet. Aside from these, I’d like to give a special shout-out to Carter at the front desk for making us feel right at home.
黄金海岸的帝盛酒店位置很不错，距离大型购物中心Pacific Fair就一条街的距离，周围吃的很多，10分钟可以走到海边，酒店门口就是Tram Station。房间的设施也不错，带小阳台，打开可以看到海。只是淋浴水量比较小，地板沾水有一点滑。除此之外，特别点赞前台Carter，让人有宾至如归之感。 - Chinese Customers

I enjoyed my stay at Crowne Plaza but unfortunately the TV was not working for my whole stay. The staff were very apologetic but unfortunately it did not complete my whole stay. Just a shame that the problems with the internet and tv were not resolved before my stay was completed.

The reception Rio is very kind, he tells about the Gold Coast Festival and location . Also, he is very helpful for early in for IHG member therefore we can take a rest in the room b4 go to late lunch.
One small thing is the box for the compliment tea and coffee is old and quite dirty inside and outside. Also, if provide an additional box tissue in the room is perfect.

Staff were super friendly and very helpful! Our motel room was fit out with everything a family needs - multiple charging ports for devices, plates, cups, cutlery and microwave, decent size fridge. Easy access to beach and short walk to corner shops and eating places. Safe bike path from accom all the way to 1770. Would definitely stay again.

Our stay in the deluxe safari cabin was amazing!! Situated right on the garden bed where turtles, ducks and fish swim up to be fed. The cabin itself is perfect for a family of 4 and is very clean. The park boasts two pools, playground and jumping inflatable. You can also hire bikes or pedal carts for cheap. Close proximity to the esplanade and specialty shops, I highly recommend our stay and we will be back.

Mi è emozionato vedere una TV a schermo molto grande, moderna a grande schermo con sistema Android a bordo.
Delusione che non ci sia connessione a Internet (per cui avrei potuto usare le mie password per i miei servizi di streaming.
Ancora più deluso che non ci fosse alcun collegamento aereo, ma avevo portato la mia tecnologia e Internet. Ho appena smesso di funzionare la TV.
Immagina il mio dispiacere estrema di a bordo dell'ascensore di 3° piano alle 05:00 per avere le porte chiuse - ma nessun pulsante funziona!
Sono stato intrappolato nell'ascensore!!!
Ho premuto il pulsante d'emergenza giallo per 5 secondi - nessuna risposta - premuto molte volte.
Ho chiamato il numero principale dell'hotel, così hanno potuto premere il pulsante di sollevamento - nessuna risposta.
Ho chiamato il numero di emergenza 24/7 1300.L'operatore ha detto che avrebbe mandato qualcuno fuori - che mi avrebbe chiamato con un ETA.
Avevo 60 anni di ansia, con una condizione cardiaca, ho chiamato 1000 per chiamare la POLICIA!
Il mittente mi ha elogiato di rimanere così calmo.
Le ho assicurato che essere molto caldo in spazi con aria molto scarsa non mi ha certamente portato alla calma.
Hanno detto di richiamarmi a 1000 se mi sono ritirata prima che arrivasse il brigata d'incendio.
Cinque minuti dopo ho sentito delle voci fuori, qualcuno mi ha sentito urlare sulle porte dell'ascensore e gridare per aiuto.

Quella notte, il ragazzo alla ricezione mi ha detto scusa.
Ho spiegato che, sebbene la stanza fosse meravigliosa - e che finalmente mi sono fatta fuori, un uomo della mia età e io sarei stato in salute poteva morire - perché nessuno era tenuto a rispondere al telefono di emergenza?
Ha detto che era dispiaciuto.

PPHILLIP JAMESThe Mantra Hotel has outstanding location. It is directly in front of the Woolworths supermarket - the best option in central Cairns. It's also virtually opposite (the esplanade side)the lagoon public beachfront swimming pool. Finally it's just a 5 minute walk from Cairns Cruise Terminal, with outstanding day trips to Green Island, Fitzroy Island and the Reef. I booked a sea view room. When you enter the room, you don't see the ocean, but a building across the road. However, the view from the balcony was amazing. The balcony overlooks the main features of lagoon on the sea front. During the day it is great view - the lagoon pools and sea in the background. At night you cannot see the sea (as to be expected) but you have the amazing lagoon lights, which makes it very desirable and even romantic. Our room was at the end of block, which overlooks a shopping mall (no car noise) - looking right from the balcony is the lagoon view and looking left is a mountain view. However, from 2:00pm to 6:00pm the sun comes directly into the balcony area, which means it unusable until sun sets. Of course if you don't mind baking in the sun on the balcony, this is not really a concern. The room itself is pretty basic. The mini fridge of OK and TV has domestic channels only - no cable TV for BBC/CNN. The bathroom is of a good size. There is combined shower & bath. However, when using the shower, it can slightly flood this bathroom. A shower curtain may be desirable because the glass panel is not sufficient enough. At $225 per night this hotel was not cheap and you can better deals by coming in the off-season OR going bit further down the esplanade, and choosing another hotel. The Mantra does have its own pool and it is wonderfully heated, with normal deck chairs you would expect at 4 star hotel. However, the pool gets very little natural sunlight, because it of its location between 2 buildings. Overall, the hotel has amazing location, and it is still recommended, despite the shortcomings mentioned. My final note: When we checked in, I was impressed with the level of service provided by the receptionist. She had a very welcome attitude and a wonderful personality.

Great rooms on the 22nd floor. The beds are very comfortable, and the room is spacious for up to 3/4 people.
The downside for us was that the staff at the reception told us that there wasn't a restaurant located in the hotel when we enquired while checking in, so we went out to look for something to eat after we checked in to the hotel, only to get back to find a brochure in our room advertising a Cafe conveniently located in the hotel for guests.
I highly recommend that the staff need to be informed of any changes in the hotel so that they are able to provide accurate information about the hotel to the guests.
The check-in and check-out process was great, made conveniently for guests and staff, there's no long cues at the reception👍🏾
We'll definitely be returning.

PPrasadQuesto hotel è spettacolare!!! Non abbastanza parole possono esprimere quanto è bella. Ogni membro del personale ti ha fatto sentire individualmente benvenuto e veramente guardato. Ogni persona aveva sempre un sorriso e veramente voleva aiutare. Gina e Alex, per esempio, nel ristorante di colazione Critique, sono stati estremamente utili e al vostro servizio. Rahul alla reception è stato utile e ha spiegato tutte le strutture dell'hotel. Il responsabile della manutenzione è stato estremamente gentile, amichevole e utile. La zona della laguna ti ha fatto sentire come se fossi a Bali, Phuket, ecc. Per dire che è spettacolare è un sottovalutazione. Per tutta la mia permanenza, ogni membro del personale ha fatto il mio compleanno estremamente speciale, memorabile e secondo a nessuno mai esperienze prima. Grazie a tutti i dipendenti di JW.

TTam coupleMolto gd posizione. Camminare conveniente per mangiare e piazzare. Amore il piacevole colazione sul veranda! Un hotel di carattere! L'unico punto in basso sarebbe che alcune strutture all'interno della stanza sono un po' vecchie. Il doccia nella nostra stanza è gocciolando. Il rumore di notte potrebbe essere alto!

The hotel is in a great location, and the room itself was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Facilities like the car park and lifts were well maintained and met expectations.
However, as business travellers, the internet connection was a major letdown. The hotel appears to rely on a hotspot system, which was extremely unreliable—slow speeds and constant disconnections all weekend. Streaming services such as Netflix were unusable, and even basic browsing was frustrating. To make matters worse, the remote control had nearly dead batteries and worked intermittently.
We were also disappointed with the rest and breakfast experience. After early starts each day, we were hoping for some quiet downtime in the afternoon, but this was hard to enjoy given the other issues.
The weekend breakfast arrangement felt misleading. Instead of onsite breakfast, we received a $20 per person voucher to a nearby café. While the café was pleasant, it only opened at 7:30 am on weekends—not ideal when you're starting work at 6:30–7:00 am. And realistically, $20 doesn’t go far at most cafés these days, so it felt like a cost-cutting workaround rather than a genuine breakfast offering.
On a positive note, Clara at reception on Saturday was professional and kind—she did her best to assist, though unfortunately there wasn’t much she could do. It seemed like her manager may have been present but avoided getting involved, which was disappointing given the situation.
