Queensland, Australia: hotel vicino alla spiaggia

*: L'hotel è ben situato, vicino alle principali attrazioni di Airlie Beach, come] e con facile accesso a ristoranti, negozi e trasporti. Raccomando l'Hotel Magnus a chiunque visiti Airlie Beach. La posizione privilegiata e il comfort mi hanno reso inoltrabile il soggiorno. Sarei sicuramente rimasto qui.

Hotel carino situato all'altra parte della Esplanade, a piedi lungo il retro dell'hotel, è stato bello andare e un facile percorso per raggiungere il centro della città. Kudos al personale di ricezione, Riccardo per lasciare una buona prima impressione quando sono arrivato. Egli era così chiaro nel spiegare tutto quello che dovevo sapere prima di entrare, e i giorni successivi, quando l'ho visto, era anche molto utile con tutte le richieste che avevo. La stanza era grande e spaziosa, letti molto confortevoli!! Il personale di servizio era anche amichevole ogni volta che li vedevo come andava fuori per il giorno. La cena del servizio era deliziosa. Tuttavia, le opzioni di buffet per colazione erano quasi le stesse ogni giorno, se avesse potuto esserci più varietà. Ma in generale, ho ancora avuto un soggiorno piuttosto piacevole qui:

Booking online with Trip was simple. The Dorsett have clean rooms and staff are lovely, plus it's attached to the Gold Coast ******. I was pleasantly surprised that the hotel is equipped for people with disabilities or use a wheelchair. This includes self opening and closing doors, shower and toilet set up with aids that can be pulled out to accommodate needs and there are wheelchair touch buttons for opening the door. I showered before going out and it flooded the bathroom, luckily there were 2 infloor drains. Within 2 mins or asking for maintenance they had a lovely young man up to fix it, then another minute later housekeeping arrived with fresh towels. The maintenance man also gave me a good rundown and recommendations on the restaurant's at the ******. 2 negatives - 1st, it is hard to work out where to park as you use the ****** parking, the carpark directs you where to go but there is no clear signage on where the hotel lifts are. I only knew this from a past visit over 2yrs ago. This is something that needs sorting out. 2nd, the entrance address for the hotel foyer is actually on the ****** entry side, so you drive around looking for it. I now know that instead of turning off onto The Darling Ave, as gps instructed, you take the slip road before The Darling Ave exit. This takes you past the residential tower and to the front of the hotel

After reading very mixed reviews, we went ahead and booked it. The result: very mixed feelings. The location was beautiful, the sights breathtaking, the animals adorable, but when it came to actually spending time there, there wasn’t much to do. We arrived on a later ferry so we knew we wouldn’t have much time to enjoy the sun after arrival, however because of a mix up, our suitcases went missing for an hour making us miss any chance of getting in the pool while it was hot out. After, we went for dinner. There are only 2 restaurants available, and without making a reservation before hand, it’s a bit hard to go when you want. The food was ok, but expensive as one would expect from a place like this. Once dinner was finished, the evening entertainment (Alice in Wonderland screening) was already underway and we found ourselves with nothing to do at 9pm. Early night for us. The following day we planned a day of snorkelling, stingray feeding and kayaking. We appreciated the free snorkel gear as well as the clear safety instructions and recommendations of the lifeguard. The sting Ray feeding experience was amazing and it was clear the staff knew what they were talking about and were passionate about the animals. Kayaking and other water sports were cancelled however because of the high winds, leaving us, once again, with nothing to do. Early dinner (very entertaining moment with wallabies attempting to steal our food and being super cuddly), a walk around the beach, movie in the room, and early bedtime. So all in all, beautiful location with great experiences of the weather allow, make sure to bring some entertainment if the water is too cold to swim in the pool or the weather turns sour. Maybe a book or some board games? Also: if you want food in the late afternoon, make sure you bring some snacks as there is a limited selection available.

La stanza è molto pulita e il servizio è molto conveniente per soggiornare. È a circa mezz'ora da Talli fluttuare. La spiaggia di missione non è lontana dal bordo.

Nice view, nice location, walk distance to cruise harbor and town centre. Hope one day can stay again

Pulizia e confortevole con grandi strutture cucinali in camera. Siamo rimasti in un brutto tempo perché la posizione e l'accesso alla spiaggia erano grandi. Edificio antico ma ben mantenuto. Short drive to the city center and shops. In ogni caso, consiglierei a chiunque cercasse una vacanza a fianco della spiaggia. Guarda dalla nostra stanza sarebbe stato grande in un clima migliore. Eravamo grati di essere secchi e confortevoli!

Ha avuto un ottimo soggiorno in carns Queen Court! Tutti i membri del personale erano super amici. Cercano sempre di aiutare con le nostre domande e di fornire suggerimenti per la nostra pianificazione del viaggio! Tuttavia, attenzione al mattino (alto 6:30am) casa mantenendo se vuoi dormire in tutto, mi è piaciuto rimanere lì e divertirmi molto a Cairns!

Really lovely hotel, it was a little out from Airlie beach centre but the shuttle bus was perfect and not very expensive! The only thing was it wasn’t always that frequent but this is not the hotels fault! It was a great stay, really friendly staff and clean throughout.

Abbiamo amato il nostro soggiorno nel Castaways Resort a Mission Beach. La stanza era una stanza davanti alla spiaggia con belle viste. Era spaziosa, comoda e pulita.Abbiamo prenotato attraverso Trip.com a breve preavviso, ma hanno reso facile prenotare.
