Finlandia: hotel con bar nella provincia di Uusimaa

We had a great few nights stay at Scandic Grand Central. The check-in process was smooth- The hotel even provided an online check-in option that would also notify us when our room is ready so that we can check in earlier. The room was a little smaller than we imagined but nevertheless well-equipped. The breakfast buffet is a MUST- There's a wide variety of food and they are all scrumptious. The staff was warm and accommodating- Big thumbs up to the cleaning staff who greeted us everyday without fail with the biggest smile on their faces. The location is also fantastic-Its very central so all the tourist attractions and transport is within walking distance.

Abbiamo alloggiato in una camera da 16 persone per 2 giorni! Per mia disattenzione ho lasciato l'iPad in camera, ma quando sono andata a riprenderlo il giorno dopo, lo tenevano lì! Per i pasti c'è una cucina al 4° piano con forno a microonde, cialde, coltelli, piatti e tazze tutti a disposizione! C'è un supermercato al primo piano, quindi posso andare facilmente a Helsinki, il che mi è stato davvero utile! Ho intenzione di utilizzare questo posto quando andrò in Finlandia!

I have no idea why some complains about the customer service, it was nice. The location is not really far from PK area, but there are not many restaurant options nearby. The worst part for me was just that the room is quite bad though the hotel was not really expensive. I have not seen any hotel that does not have a shampoo or body wash... Ofc, no toothbrush, no toothpaste.. No fridge, even no glass for drinking.. 🤔

It's pretty close to the airport and they also have free shuttle service every 15 minutes (it takes around 10 minutes to get there), so would recommend if you need to catch a flight!

A good hotel for an overnight transfer stay. The free airport shuttle is very convenient. Look for the bus assembly area sign to quickly locate the station at airport. The T2 said on the timetable is just misleading and will put you in a long walking maze. Breakfast is overall good but the instant coffee (only choice) can be improved.

Ottima posizione per la stazione ferroviaria centrale, supermercato, grande magazzino Tokmanni, attrazioni turistiche, terminal degli autobus Kamppi per gite di un giorno a Porvoo, traghetto per la fortezza di Suomen. Camera appena ristrutturata in un hotel centenario, riscaldamento del bagno per asciugare gli asciugamani, personale molto sorridente, buona colazione sana e sostanziosa. Hotel consigliatissimo!

La stanza è pulita e ordinata e la serie Ritual per il bagno è molto raffinata! Il secchio sanitario Brabantsch all'ingresso dell'ascensore🛗 è troppo alto, vero? Qualsiasi numero a 4 cifre in Cina è ancora ricco nel Nord Europa💰 Abbiamo iniziato presto il giorno successivo e alle 6 del mattino è stata offerta una semplice colazione. Anche se erano tutti cibi freddi come pane, frutta e latte, abbiamo sentito anche la cortesia degli ospiti. L'hotel è molto vicino all'aeroporto, a solo una fermata di metropolitana dall'aeroporto. Abbiamo acquistato i biglietti ABC per 4,1 euro. Se dobbiamo acquistare solo i biglietti BC dall'aeroporto all'hotel, costa circa 3,1 euro. Abbiamo messo via i bagagli e siamo andati in città. Era in A, quindi 4,1 euro non sono stati una perdita. Si prega di fare attenzione quando si acquistano i biglietti⚠️ 1. Preparare in anticipo le carte in euro o estere con chip 2. Ricordati di prestare attenzione alla zona del treno e all'orario del biglietto Se superi la zona o l'orario, verrai multato se vieni sorpreso.

Pros - Perfect location, just a stone’s throwaway to the subway - Super new, comfy and spacious room for two - Bathroom was all impeccable with a super strong shower head (major plus points!!) - Strong air-conditioning / heater - Pretty good breakfast spread Cons - Cast to tv feature didn’t work :( - Recep’s service can be better - No kettle in room (available for rent at €5 / day zzz) *pro-tip: get free hot water from the coffee vending machine near the recep*

This apartment hotel is great for business/ solo traveler who also plans to take the ferry. It’s super close. There’s a tram stop not to far from hotel entrance. It’s quiet, convenient and super comfortable. The breakfast is the same every morning. So it’s a bit disappointing. But otherwise the it’s a great stay. Definitely will book it again.

Era stanco per il lungo treno a Helsinki, e il tempo era molto freddo quella notte. Abbiamo bisogno di acqua calda e abbiamo chiesto calda dalla ricezione. Siamo stati molto sorpresi e ci sentivamo caldi quando abbiamo ricevuto la calda calda di cioccolato. Perfetto servizio clienti. Grazie 🫰
