Per un po', sono ansioso di vivere in questo particolare Hilton, soprattutto dato le mie frequenti visite a Santa Marta. La mia attesa era marcata da grandi aspettative, ma quando ho sperimentato l'hotel di prima mano, ho trovato che esso li superava con un margine considerevole. Dal mio lungo viaggio come membro della squadra Hilton, dove ho avuto il privilegio di esplorare numerose proprietà Hilton in tutto il mondo, posso confermare con fiducia che il Hilton Santa Marta è uno dei migliori stabilimenti che abbia mai avuto. Il suo servizio eccezionale, le sue eccezionali strutture e l'attenzione non parallelata ai dettagli lo hanno davvero separato nel regno dell'ospitalità di lusso.

In het piepkleine Minca (een klein backpackers-dorpje) zitten voornamelijk hostels. Veel liggen rondom het.piepkleine centrum of ver verspreid in de bergen rondom Minca. Hotels zijn er minder. Het Sweet Harmony Boutique Hotel ligt (via een onverlicht paadje en bruggetje) op 10 minuten van het centrum. Het ligt iets verhoogd aan de rivier in een mooie tuin. Op de foto's ziet het er allemaal top uit. Met name omdat men vooral de (suite) kamers met hangmatten prominent laat zien. De weg naar het hotel is zoals alle wegen in Minca onverhard en hobbel de bobbel. Aangekomen bleek de geboekte luxe kamer gewoon een kleine standaard kamer met een soort van gedeeld terras te zijn. Niks geen hangmatten voor je balkon. Voor de vier kamers loopt een overdekt terras. Tussen de kamers staat een plantenbak op het terras als afscheiding. Als je tussen een familie of vriendenclub zit lopen die al snel ” even” over ”jouw” deel van het balkon voor jouw kamer langs en in ons geval ook voor de badkamer en toilet langs. Qua privacy niet prettig. Kamer is klein en (het is midden in de bergen in een tropisch regenwoud) ook heel vochtig. Het tweepersoonsbed is meer een twijfelaar dan tweepersoons qua breedte. Vrij smal dus en lekker knus. Vervelend is dat het bed ook erg kort is. Met 198 cm stak er een flink deel uit het bed en met 176 cm past het in theorie maar net. Het geheel wordt verergerd door de klamboe die je hier wel nodig hebt. De vorm zorgt dat je het gaas tegen je lichaam en gezicht aan hebt. Wat een slecht bed. We hebben hier niet prettig geslapen. Erg jammer. Badkamer heeft een enorme inloopdouche die aan balkon grenst. Douche is lastig op temperatuur te krijgen (koud of heel heet iets ertussen was lastig en veranderde telkens). Badkamer met.roilet en douche zien er op eerste gezicht prima uit. Men heeft echt wel zijn best gedaan er iets moois van te makem. Handdoeken zijn groot en schoon. Douchegel aanwezig. En daar zitten dan ook onze gemengde gevoelens. De intenties zijn zeker.goed geweest. Hoe het In de.praktijk uitpakt en blijft werken is iets anders. Op foto's staan jacuzzi' s die er net als hangmatten in de tuin hoe twee zijn. ”Zwembad” is een heel klein niet uitnodigend koud badje. De hangmatten aan de balkons zijn alleen bij de aparte suite in de tuin. De deluxe kamers zijn feitelijk de standaard kamers. Slecht is het zeker niet en ook ons verblijf was op zich voldoende. Het had alleen zoveel beter kunnen zijn. De op zich charmante kamers zijn behoorlijk gehorig. Er is een minibar en ijskast en voldoende opbergruimte in de vorm van een wandmeubel. Vloeroppervlakte is echter krap. Je loopt elkaar in de weg. Er is een TV ? Een plafond ventilator, maar vreemd genoeg geen airco. Hierdoor is het te warm. Info in het Spaans is erg summier. Een mapje op de kamer met info in Spaans en Engels en een omgevingskaartje met wat tips zou veel schelen. Ontbijt is wel weer fijn en ruim voldoende in hoeveelheid en in keus. Nogmaals het verbl

Lo bueno: Hotel con instalaciones nuevas. Las habitaciones son modernas y espaciosas. Algunas de ellas cuentan con muy bonita vista al mar. El desayuno es delicioso y muy completo. El personal de recepción y del restaurante muy amable. Buena ubicación cerca a la playa, al muelle y a la zona de restaurantes y bares cerca al parque de los novios. Lo malo: Pésima atención al cliente por parte de la administradora. El cuarto en el que estabamos tenía mala señal de Wifi (lo solucionaron cambiándonos de habitación). No tiene zonas húmedas ni zona de co-working. Mi pareja y yo estabamos trabajando y no nos quisieron prestar una silla adicional para la habitación. Hay una bolera en el mismo edificio por lo que hay mucho ruido hasta tarde. En resumen es un hotel nuevo, moderno, bien decorado, que ofrece un desayuno delicioso, está bien ubicado pero que en general es ofrece un servicio promedio y con baja relación costo/beneficio.

Our room was big and very clean. The bed was duper comfortable also clean. Service was just spectacular- we arrived past check in time and still had a lovely and welcoming reception. We stayed there before we went on the 4 day trek for the Lost City and they were so lovely to accept to store out bags there at no cost. Breakfast is nice, there's a few options from veggie to meaty. Location is also very good, close to markets and less than 10 minutes wlak to city centre, and still remarkably quiet. I'd recommend!

Il soggiorno è stato un bello, grazie per l'attenzione super scomplicata, la pulizia impeccabile e sempre disposto a soddisfare l'immagine estetica. Il cibo è stato di grande qualità, a un prezzo molto giusto per quello che è stato ricevuto, il menu è vario, ma improvvisamente non hanno potuto estendere un po' più le opzioni, ma questo sì, tutti i piatti sono deliziosi, fino a quando arriva con stomaco gourmet Sarà un piacere. Un hotel Maestro in attenzione, ideale per soggiorni anche in famiglia, e strutture molto belle, l'unica cosa che necessitava in hotel è un portafoglio più ampio di zone sociali, come Jacuzzi o Turco, dal resto: Vale la pena essere un hotel di 4 stelle, superando tutte le attese! Torneremo fino alla prossima volta!

L'hotel è un ottimo ostello, un personale amichevole, un'atmosfera buona e una folla e strutture moderne. Vorrei sottolineare il personale, Valentina, che era particolarmente divertente per il nostro colazione, e che se lasciassi un recensione, mi chiedeva che avesse dei capelli carini. Solo una cosa da menzionare, A/C era disabile alle 10, non alle 11:00. Forse non è stato riattivato dopo il giorno, per risparmiare tempo.

We initially booked one night after leaving Minca but extended to another night since we were recovering from food poisoning. The hotel's lobby is on the 3rd floor and there was always a security guard on the first floor. There were some jewelry display right by the entrance. No air conditioned upon walking into the first floor. There wasn't a Hilton Honors check-in and there were 2 front desk reps. I stayed in queue for almost 15 minutes which was kinda long. They also didn't offer digital key. However, Ronaldo was friendly and helpful when he assisted us. We received 2 welcome drinks where you can redeem on the roof top bar for juices, beer or house wine. We opted for some mango and guava juices. We were upgraded to the ocean view due to the gold status and also complimentary buffet breakfast. The beach is merely 5 minutes walking distance away. Bed was comfy, wifi and water pressure were both good but the temperature of A/C didn't go below 21'C which was 70'F. There was a mini-fridge and basic TV where you can't stream. Pool on top floor was very small and crowded. However, it was still good to enjoy the sunset. We like the buffet breakfast with lots of fruits, juices and some typical Colombian pastries (deep fried though). They also had an omelet station. The restaurant was quite packed in the morning and service was slow (in taking the plates away). There were no tea bags left and it took more than 10 minutes for the waitstaff to get the tea bags. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

It is a decent hotel, not brand new, not super cosy, which does it job for an unpretentious business travel. However, if you are picky and expect top notch experience especially when it comes to customer orientation, details, breakfast and swimming pool, you probably will not be too happy. Rooms are okay but equipped to bare minimum (you get only one towel, no bathrobe or slippers, no shower gel, only soap, no typical hygienic kits or shoe sponge). Breakfast is edible but always the same, and there are few choices: only one type of bread and it is a typical disastrously tasting sponge (although I must say that good bread is really hard to come by in Colombia), no proper desserts or choice of sweet spreads. Then, the swimming pool opens ridiculously late, only at 9 am (three hours after the sunrise). Such a pity because thus business travelers miss a good opportunity to start their day afresh, sunbathing and unwinding by the water.

It was an incredible experience and we enjoyed our time at this hotel, it's location is perfect to take different activities such as going to the aquarium and playa blanca, tayrona park and other places. There is a little options for fun and parties and the nights has not quite fun. The hotel is very clean and comfortable, the elevator looks like old and unsafety but you can used the stairs.

Non posso esprimere quanto mio amico e io adoro assolutamente la nostra esperienza qui!! L'hotel è assolutamente stupenda, le camere sono magnifiche e hanno bellissimi massimali, e sono molto pulite. Il personale è eccezionale, sono estremamente amichevole e utile. Il cibo era fenomenale come le bevande. La posizione è anche perfetta per il centro di Santa Marta, con molti ristoranti e servizi intorno al blocco. Non posso dire abbastanza buone cose! Spero di tornare un giorno, tutto il viaggio dal Canada!
