Sono rimasto molto soddisfatto di questo B&B durante questo viaggio al Festival di Qingming? Lo scenario è bello e il soggiorno è stato confortevole Soprattutto il maggiordomo Xiao Hu è stato molto disponibile nel consigliarci percorsi turistici e nel portarci sulla montagna sul retro per vedere lo scenario montano. Sfortunatamente , il tempo era troppo breve. Il B&B da solo è stato molto divertente Mi piace molto la sensazione di potermi svegliare alle 9 e fare colazione a buffet prima di uscire di nuovo a giocare. !

My stay was so enjoyable that I decided to extend it for another day. I highly recommend Jolly Hotel to anyone visiting Changsha. It truly offers exceptional service that's hard to find elsewhere. 我的住宿体验非常愉快，因此决定延长一天的行程继续入住。长沙君逸山水大酒店真是太棒了！

We had the best service of our trip at this hotel- they truly go beyond and above. It was only a 15min Didi from the train station, also the bus shuttle from HSR to the city is right in front of the hotel. The location is perfectly situated at one side of the main bridge, but a nice 5min stroll away such that you are away from the noise on the main ***** (in front of the river). Also, no mosquitoes. We initially booked a riverfront hotel but I am SO glad that we changed to this hotel after actually walking the whole tourist ***** on foot. Legit the cobblestones near the river are terrible, and cars can’t get in so it’d have been a nightmare. Next, Xiao Dai （小代） who helped us and the manager were all so sweet. 小代answered all our WeChat questions extremely promptly (literally 1-2mins), and when we asked about the free laundry self use machine onsite, she offered to have us leave it in our room and do it for us so we could go out and explore. I thought this was truly above and beyond- she picked the clothes up from our room, washed them (separately as well for colours and whites), hung them and sent us a photo, dried them and returned them to us folded and freshly laundered. We were simply floored by this level of service. They are so so so kind and I can’t recommend this hotel enough for their kindness and eagerness to ensure your comfort during your stay. We stayed on the 7th floor in a suite and it was very comfortable- the bed itself and pillows were just right. Sheets felt high quality, pillows not too stiff and high, duvet was fluffy and nice. I liked that the toilet is separated from the shower and vanity- the soft but bright filtered lighting for the bathroom vanity was amazing for getting ready (for the girls who are sick of hotels with dark lighting and can’t do their make up). The room was spacious and although some aspects were a bit outdated, it was clean large and comfortable - we were so happy with our room. They also gave our group of 3 girls 4 room cards which allows for each card to breakfast. The breakfast ayis were so nice and made eggs freshly your way when asked. The cucumber and radish pickles were yummy and we really liked the corn soup and congee as well as all the vegetable dishes. The selection was good for us, as we like clean and simple, easy to digest and nutritious foods in the morning. Oh yeah they also sent us to the HSR on check out without charge, in the hotel’s car. They were so prompt in getting us to the HSR and the driver was really considerate, safe and careful. Literally the most calm drive we’ve experienced in China. Side note- the gym is massive and looks largely unused but the equipment is good, there are weights and cables and everything. There’s also a pool table and table tennis. A yoga room complete with a good amount of gear and mats.

Overall, this was a pleasant stay and I will book again if I visit Qiyang again. We had 2 adults and 2 young children. Wishing to stay together in one room, they happily allowed this and waived any additional charge for breakfast for my 2 kids. The place was clean and very comfortable. Whilst the rooms are very clean some mould is starting to colour on the waterproof sealing in the shower. I hope the hotel keeps the clean appearance with a bit of bleach cleaning on the mould. Another great plus is that they have 2 free to use washing machines and 2 dryers. I hand washed stained clothes in my room and use the machines for the final wash. It became one of the things I did whilst the wait was used to train in the gym next to the laundry area. The gym was rudimentary but if you know how to train, bringing in a couple of training bands will be adequate. The bench is a bit wobbly so watch out for that. The location of the hotel is perfect with a large park opposite. For western visitors, I think they need to understand a few things about hotels in non-first tier city in Mainland China and specifically Qiyang. 1) Yes, most things are in Puntonghua (including the room's voice control AI) although the front desk staff can communicate in basic English. 2) The breakfast food buffet is distinctly catered to local tastes, so you won't get western style croissants, sausages, bacon and eggs. What you will get is the delicious freshly made noodles and boiled eggs, steamed rice bus, fried noodles, fried rice, spicy fried pork and beef, with congee and Chinese style broth. If you want western breakfast, you need to go to local McDonalds which is a 5 minute taxi ride away. 3) That brings me on to taxis. On the plus, its cheap. Most taxis charge around RMB10-20 (USD 1.40 -2.40) for a 2 mile radius. On the negative, you need to be able to get one and the hotel doesn't have a taxi call service, not by any fault of the hotel but by the lack of committed taxi drivers who are willing to work with the hotel, so very much hail on the street yourself kind of thing. 4) There is a KTV on the 3rd floor of the hotel but that is normal for a big Qiyang hotel. I would definitely recommend one of the higher floors if you want a little less noise. 5) And yes, there is literally one or two German cockroaches in the room at night but luckily not a serious infestation level. That is expected for rural places like Qiyang especially where the origin of the infestation may not be at the hotel itself.

Parliamo della posizione. Questo hotel si trova tra l'area panoramica del Grand Canyon di Zhangjiajie (ponte di vetro) e l'area panoramica della grotta di Huanglong. Ci vogliono solo 12 minuti per raggiungere questi due punti panoramici e meno di 20 minuti per il centro panoramico spot Wulingyuan National Forest Park. All'aeroporto, ci vogliono circa 45 minuti per raggiungere la stazione dei treni ad alta velocità e il monte Tianmen. Vale la pena ricordare che il loro hotel dispone di auto che vengono a prendervi in ​​questi luoghi o vi mandano lì dall'hotel , che è più conveniente. Anche il servizio è degno di lode. Che si tratti della reception, della camera o del ristorante, i camerieri sono sinceri, educati e premurosi. Perhaps one of the best homestay I have ever stay in China! The overall service was excellent. Mr Li, the boss of the homestay personally picked me from the airport. Being a foreigner, there is a problem in retrieving the Zhangjiajie health code, fortunately I managed to get it sorted out by the airport security. Mr Li called me several times as he was wondering if I gave any issue since all passengers have existed the airport and there is no sight of me coming out. We drove around 30 minutes to the homestay. As it was rather late when I arrived, Mr Li asked if I needed any dinner and will get his colleague to prepare for me. Upon arrival at the homestay, I was greeted by Ms Xiao Liu, a young pretty girl who patiently explain about the walking route for several sightseeing places. She was knowledgeable and the information given to me was very clear. What I particularly like was the energy saving, as the staircase up to my room is installed with sensor control and lit-up as soon as there is movement. My room was upgraded to a higher category which was very spacious with a bathtub and lounging area at the balcony. The room was simple but well decorated. Great views overlooking the mountain. As it was snowing the day before I arrived, the sofa was covered with snow. The next day I had breakfast at another building. The breakfast venue was located next to the swimming pool. Breakfast was simple with a nice bowl of hot noodles during the winter. The ladies that worked behind the kitchen offered me fried egg to go along with my noodles. After my breakfast, Mr Li drove me to the Wulingyuan National Park entrance which is less than 10 minutes ride. After my excursion, Mr Zhao the manager of the homestay, fetched me back to the homestay. I ordered some dumplings and it was yummy. Ms Xiao Li made me a cup of tea to go with the dumplings. My room was cleaned upon my return. Hygiene was good and housekeeper did a get job. The bed was comfortable, however the pillows were a little soft for me. The only setback was the lighting in the bathroom was not bright enough when applying make-up. As my flight was in the evening, Mr Zhao fetch me to the Tianmen tourist centre as I would like visit the Tianmen mountain before my departure. I had a fabulous stay and the service offered by everyone was excellent. I will definitely return again on my next trip to Zhangjiajie.

My stay at Zhangjiajie Mido Inn was nothing short of a restorative journey, a much-needed reprieve after receiving less-than-ideal results from my recent CT scan. As a cancer patient, I was seeking more than just a place to rest—I needed an experience that would uplift my spirits, and the Mido Inn, along with its caretaker Wu, delivered exactly that. Upon arriving at the inn, I was greeted by Wu, whose warm and welcoming demeanor immediately put me at ease. He seemed to sense that I needed more than just a room; I needed an escape, a way to reconnect with nature and find peace amidst my worries. Wu went above and beyond, providing me with a hand-drawn map of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and crafting a personalized itinerary that perfectly suited my pace and interests. Wu’s local insights were invaluable. He knew the park like the back of his hand and took the time to highlight lesser-known trails and viewpoints that offered stunning vistas without the crowds. His suggestions were exactly what I needed—places where I could take in the breathtaking beauty of the park and reflect, without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. The inn itself was cozy and felt like a home away from home. Each evening, after a day of exploring, I returned to a warm and comfortable space that offered solace and tranquility. The location of the inn was ideal, nestled close enough to the park to make early starts easy, yet far enough away to provide a quiet retreat. During my two-day tour of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, I experienced moments of pure awe that felt almost like a healing process. Standing at the edge of towering cliffs, surrounded by the iconic sandstone pillars, I found a sense of peace that had eluded me in the sterile environment of hospital rooms and medical appointments. The park’s natural beauty, combined with Wu’s thoughtful guidance, allowed me to truly immerse myself in the moment, leaving my health concerns behind, if only for a little while. Wu’s genuine kindness and eagerness to help made my time in Zhangjiajie not just successful, but deeply fulfilling. His assistance turned what could have been a standard stay into something truly special. As I left Zhangjiajie, I felt a renewed sense of hope and strength, carrying with me memories of not just the breathtaking landscapes, but of the kindness of a stranger who made a world of difference in my journey.

We are two people travelling from the UK. We had no problems booking on Trip and checking in to the hotel with our passports. The hotel is beautiful with lots of character and charm, even more so when lit up at night by lanterns. There is dark wood and tasteful decorations. There are communal areas to sit. We had booked a standard double but they very kindly upgraded us to the top floor room, which had amazing views of the old town and a balcony with table and chairs. The air conditioning was excellent, the beds comfortable, the shower was hot and powerful, it was very clean. The room had a TV, kettle, cups, shampoo & body wash, plugs by both sides of the bed, insect repellent plugs, towels. The hotel page mentions a fitness room but there isn’t one. There is a washing machine for use, as well as laundry detergent. The balcony had a rail we hung the clothes on to try. Our room was on the top floor and there wasn’t a lift - not a problem for us but mentioning it for others. For breakfast, we requested a time and they brought it to the room. We were given a few options to choose from. We had noodles, dumplings, mini banana bread and mini brioche bread. It came with small cartons of milk so we could have instant coffee we had brought ourselves. Above all, the hospitality and friendliness of the hotel owners was wonderful. They were so helpful. We used translate apps and WeChat app to talk. They ordered a comfortable taxi to take us to the train station. They helped carry our bags upstairs. When we checked in, they offered us local snacks containing tofu, rice, peanuts. They can get discounted entrance tickets to the town for you as well - we did not use this and just bought our tickets at the entrance. They sent us useful information via WeChat. The location of the hotel is excellent. It is just inside the entrance to the old town, and a few metres from the start of the scenic loop around the town. You can reuse the tickets to go in and out. Lots of restaurants nearby in the scenic area, and a large supermarket very close to the hotel, just outside the scenic area. A short Didi ride from the high speed train station as well. Totally recommend this hotel if you are visiting Furong Ancient Town, especially the lovely people who run it. Thank you for a lovely stay!

L'ospitalità Hunan è al suo meglio! Abbiamo avuto un ottimo soggiorno all'hotel Shuiyong Jinjiang. Le visione di montagna sweeping dalle terrazze, camere elegante e senza spot, giardini pieni di fiori e uccelli ummi, passeggiate serali per prendere grano, arachidi e meloni, e deliziose pranzi cucinati a casa (compresi molti verdure fresche e frutta, zuppa di wonton calda e noodles per colazione) rendeva la nostra permanenza estremamente memorabile e rilassante. Il personale è stato estremamente gentile, generoso e utile, organizzando il nostro pick-up dall'aeroporto e i viaggi alle diverse attrazioni (le “Montagne Avatar” sono basicamente proprio vicino alla porta), suggerendo diverse rotte per ogni giorno, informandoci dei cambiamenti costanti delle norme COVID, guidandoci a fare i nostri test COVID, ecc. Siamo davvero sentiti come la famiglia subito. L'intero posto è anche molto amico dei bambini, e i nostri due bambini amavano esplorare la zona. Non possiamo aspettare di tornare di nuovo!
