This establishment does not live up to its reputation, nor do the photographs tell the whole truth. As soon as we walked through the front door we realised that something was amiss -- the lobby furniture showing in the photographs was non-existent! After exploring the rest of the facilities and chatting with the staff, we were ready to assume that some assets had been sold to pay ongoing utilities and other expenses; the funds they might have reaped from the sale certainly didn't go to fix the ice machine or the laundry equipment which were supposed to be available to the clientele, but were non-operational during our stay. We booked our room in May, and at that time were promised a complimentary breakfast; when I asked where breakfast was served, I was told that they didn't serve breakfast, so the photos of the dining area on their website were a bit misleading as well. They do get full marks for cleanliness of the rooms and corridors, and those travellers who prefer a firm mattress would have been very happy with the beds in our room. We also loved the fluffy white towels. Because we were disappointed overall with the accommodations, we changed our plans and checked out a day early. Overall, a disappointing stop on our tour of Northern Canada.

La mia stanza non era grande, ma era senza spot pulita e aveva tutto quello che avrei potuto desiderare. La doccia è stata eccellente con molta acqua calda, fornendo una macchina Nespresso con una microonde e un caldo e un frigorifero con crema reale per il vostro caffè mattina. Per la prima volta ho visto un vaporizzatore nella stanza che preferisco molto più di un ferro. Il ristorante, Belly of the Bison, è eccellente. Se torno a Whitehorse, rimarrò lì di nuovo.

We booked here based on the published claim by this hotel that a ”Shuttle is Provided” from the airport. The airport is 0.7 miles away, but too far to walk with suitcases. We double-checked when we reserved. But- NO Shuttle! We had to pay coming and going at $30 each way. We have had No answer from corporate, but have since read that others found issues with this lie. Also- the small restaurant onsite was closed. The power failure certainly wasn't the fault of the hotel.... but clearly, any reputable Business would have bent over backwards to try to rectify the $60 lost to Ubers by D-R-I-V-I-N-G us to the airport. Beware. The listing is still False even today. Absolutely no Customer service here at all!

I stayed here twice recently. Going and coming from Alaska. The pros are the staff are stellar. The price is pretty good, the rooms are clean. It is centrally located in down town Whitehorse. There is a restaurant on site that was pretty good, unsure if it had vegetarian options? The cons, some of the rooms didn’t have much of a view, inner courtyard that wasn’t much to look at. Of coarse if you like darkness, this could be a plus, especially in a place that has as many hours of light as this area of the world can have.. The hotel is maybe a little older with signs of wear in places. I have and would stay here again.

We were in room 229 for 3 nights to see the northern lights. The place is old and needs updating badly. It was also unbelievably noisy. You could hear every step of the room above us at all hours and out in the hall. Outside our window was mechanical equipment and it was loud at times. There is also construction going on next door and for one afternoon it shook the room for hours while we were trying to rest to go see the lights that night. The bathroom was run down and a bit gross. The people who work there are

Great hotel close to everything. After doing my research, I decided to reserve Elite for two nights. It was a short taxi ride from the airport where the Yukon taxi driver took all of our bags into the hotel..very thoughtful. The man at the reception was very friendly and was a fast check in as we booked through ***********. he told us where to eat, where to see the sights, etc. He was very helpful. It is an older hotel with a key access to our room. The room was very spacious and included a fridge, electric kettle, coffee maker, fridge, microwave and a bathtub. It was very clean, had 2 queen size comfortable beds. Walking distance to all of White horse. The electric heat was turned off but we called reception and they immediately brought up 2 portable heaters..great service.. would recommend

This is our third time staying at the Raven Inn, and we always come back for the modern, clean, comfortable rooms and great location! This place feels brand new and is very well appointed. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. This is the perfect place to stay in Whitehorse! Highly recommend and will be back!
