La migliore struttura di Launceston occidentale è un hotel di base, ma pulito, sicuro e confortevole, a buon prezzo, nel centro di Launceston, ben situato per i giardini botanici e il confine di scimmie, proprio nel centro della città, e non troppo lontano dal fiume. La stanza aveva tutto quello che avresti bisogno o aspettarti per questo prezzo, ma quello che mi ha sollevato il posto era il servizio. Su un volo molto ritardato non sono arrivato fino a mezzanotte, ma il pranzo della notte apparve rapidamente, mi ha aiutato a controllare, e non mi ha mai lamentato di essere trascinato al divano di fronte a mezzanotte.

I am very disappointed as I thought I booked a room in Wrest Point but instead it was in adjacent property called Motor Inn. I felt that I have been cheated as the picture in the booking details showed me Wrest point Towel and not Motor Inn. I thought the room was called Motor Inn as I have not been there to know the existence of Motor Inn. When I queried about it, they said it was the agent's (trip.com) fault . To move to the main tower will cost me an extra of $80. I felt I have been conned and they should have placed the Motor Inn building photo instead of the tower of Wrest Point in their website for booking. (It is deceptive marketing - show you a ferrari for sale and got a lemon after you have paid for it) Motor Inn is an old building and does not have lifts to the room we were allocated and being retirees , we have to carry our bags up to 2 flights of stairs. On top of that, the room walls were not sound proof and you can hear every customer slamming their doors and flushing their toilets. I thought we have booked the room with the sea view instead there were only bushes as a window view. It was so embarrassing when I thought I could request for a room on a higher floor in wrest tower for good views but instead shown out of the door to an old adjacent building call Motor Inn. In all its websites and advertising, there is not 1 photo to show Motor Inn as Wrest Point . It has always being the tower used to promote the sale of their rooms. The Bistro food is poor quality and costly. We order from the caviary and the food came out to be cold and dry. We wanted to try the other 2 restaurants Kwan Ho and the one on the 17 th floor in the main tower but were told they were close. I thought being a top notch hotel, their restaurant will be open 7 days instead they are closed 2 days.( sun and mon). - the days we were there sat,sun,mon) They have a fantastic location but sad to say they don't have the marks of a 5 star hotel. The first picture is what I thought I booked but the second picture is actually what I got. The 3rd picture is what is in the website for booking and the last picture is what you get.

Had a recent stay for 3 nights and found it really enjoyable. After a little confusion with parking the car due to street it is located on being a bus thoroughfare, valet parking was prompt and we found we didn't need to get car out again. Great location in the centre of town and easy walking to everything Hobart has to offer. Rooms were very clean, although a little small, bathroom was a generous size although water did flood floor when showering. Did have to order another pillow as ones in room were rock hard. Breakfast was very yummy and buffet option that was offered had more than enough to satisfy. Gym was small with just enough equipment to do a workout. The Chocolate Hour was a bit of a letdown, not what we expected, but still another point of difference. All in all, a really nice stay and we'll certainly wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The room was pleasant & clean, the heater worked ok, & the bed was very comfortable. One drawback is that the door to the room was a lightweight door so anyone talking in the passage was loud enough to sound as if they were in the room. The view from the room was relaxing, but alas I didn't see any wildlife, that's nature for you. Unfortunately half the rooms were without hot water on the first morning, so it was a cold shower. The evening meal was ok, but not the greatest. Being on a tour we were lucky enough to have a cheese & wine tasting afternoon, which was fun. There are some paths through the grounds at the back. It was pleasant walk, where I did actually see some wildlife, lots of skinks. They run off pretty quickly.

Il pollo e il potato curry del capitano erano un favorito. Le camere erano pulite e 100% funzionali, in quanto in ogni camera è lasciato un feedback di manutenzione. Le tende di smarrimento hanno fermato tutta la luce per coloro che amano dormire o superare la decelerazione del jet. La sicurezza è stata migliorata con l'accesso alla carta di camera agli ascensori. È stato un cammino a 10 minuti a piedi, a 3 minuti a piedi alla fermata Skybus e a 5 minuti a piedi alla fermata Hop-on-hop-off. Buono valore e raccomandato.

L'unica raccomandazione che ho per i proprietari/amministratori è che il cubico di doccia è molto piccolo e sono un grande e grande costruito, quindi andare in giro per la doccia è stato un po' duro, ma altrimenti è così. Grazie per il buon soggiorno, il mio partner e io vi rivedremo al nostro prossimo soggiorno. 👍

Little bit dated. Booked through Qantas Hotels and somehow was upgraded. ( No requested room available? do not know.) Water shower deluge head is great. Plenty of towels washers etc. The body wash and shampoo bottles are squeeze to actuate, sounds simple doesn't it? Mattress very comfy. Pillow a little firm for me but I did have the choice of 5! You get a kettle and that's it. Fridge opens one way, cupboard door opens opposite way. Not user friendly. Mis mash of cups. No knife or fork. Had to book for a couple of nights the next week but was an extra 50 an night. Thought that was a bit unnecessary for a returning client booking the same room. We had two windy nights and the sliding door widows rattling was enough to keep you awake. Need to be wedged. Location to town. Excellent, walking distance.

Il Travellodge è un ottimo luogo per soggiornare vicino all'aeroporto e per un breve viaggio a Sorell. Il personale è amichevole e le camere sono molto grandi, pulite e pulite. This hotel met all our needs for the 3 night trip to Hobart. I would stay here again. It's centrally located to many things in town. The staff we met were all extremely nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfy. Bathroom is small, but its not like its a place where we spent a lot of time so it gets the job done. My two suggestions would be to add a shelf in the bathroom where one could place their stuff and add an overhead light so you could turn on the light when you came in the room. If you're a modest traveler who doesn't need a lot of frills or ton of space but looking for a clean and cozy place to spend the night, you'll like it just fine!

We booked this hotel for its location. You can easily walk to Battery Point, Salamanca …etc. The room needs some upgrading as it seems dated. Housekeeping cleared our rubbish the first day but did not on the 2nd. Overall, it was was a wonderful stay.

A great 5 night stay in the center of Hobart. It exceeded my expectations. Very comfortable clean rooms, good bedding and with good internet access. Importantly one of the few hotels in Hobart with its own parking. It is limited so you have to make reservations prior to your arrival , but then your place is guaranteed. The $20 charge is very reasonable and you can come and go as you please knowing that you will be able to park. The location is hard to beat an easy walk to restaurants , pubs, shops , constitution dock and the Salimanca markets. On top of this the staff were pretty special and made our stay very pleasant. I followed some of their recommendations and was not disappointed. Good coffee comes to mind from one helpful lady when I asked. A stay in the center of Hobart does not come cheap, but I found their price for a stay very acceptable in comparison to other hotels. A glowing report to say the least , but they surprised me with the quality of our stay and helped us very much enjoy Hobart. Thoroughly recommended. Would stay again in a shot when revisiting Hobart. Il parcheggio è il pavimento; l'ingresso è il primo piano, ma facilmente accessibile attraverso le scale e gli ascensori. È un bel hotel! Esso è pulito e dispone di molti elementi di comfort per farvi sentire a casa. Grande posizione, facile da entrare e uscire dalla città. L'ambiente era piacevole e accogliente. Il personale era il più bello personale che abbia mai incontrato in un hotel. Erano sempre amichevoli e chiesero come andava il nostro soggiorno ogni volta che camminava in porta.

I appreciate a hotel that offers a fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave! It always helps being able to cook a little. The view was quite good too, overlooking Launceston, and it was an easy walk into town. Beds weren’t comfy with the springs being closer to the surface than I hoped. And whilst it may be small, the TV only picked up SBS Food. A good channel, but after a big day exploring it’s nice to just zone out which I couldn’t do. Would recommend for a short, overnight stay.

Grande posizione. 5 minuti a piedi dalla parte principale della città per negozi e ristoranti. Camere pulite e tempestose e letti molto comodi. Ristorante è piccolo ma i pasti erano carini e il personale molto amichevole. La stanza dispone di tutte le attrazioni di cui hai bisogno (tea, caffè, bagno) Contrariamente al parco, bellissimo per i passi. Monkey da vedere tra 8:00 - 4:00

An iconic piece of Launceston history. A beautiful building containing beautiful furnishings throughout - particularly loved the wood furniture. Great location. A warm welcome from friendly, helpful Jude was the start to a most enjoyable stay. Spacious room with a very comfy bed. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. All good! Highly recommended.

Pros: The receptionists were friendly and willing to help. The bathroom was spacious. A purple pen was provided in our room so that I could write my postcard,which was good. Cons: I can't believe that the overall Google star rating of this hotel is 4.3/5 which is definitely overrated! I should have read the negative reviews from Tripadvisor before my stay at this hotel! I have no idea how often the housekeepers clean the rooms and change the bed sheets/linens but the carpet in our room DO need a deep clean(to vacuum)! Or at least they should vacuum the carpet more often. I could always feel some fleas/bugs jumping on my feet and legs every night. I tried to ignore them but unfortunately I had flea bites! This made me feel itchy and painful! Please see the photo below. On top of that, the wall light switches were covered with dust. It's funny that the hotel restaurant (Titanium Bar and Bistro) isn't open at lunchtime. What if the hotel guests feel hungry and want to have a proper lunch? The pillows were incredibly high,which wasn't comfy. The fixed showerhead was quite inconvenient - I prefer a hand shower. Dental kits and slippers weren't provided. We had to go to a supermarket to buy them and it took us 10 minutes to get there. Our room faced the car park so we were woken up by the noise (may be a rubbish truck) very early in the morning. I attempted to leave the review on Google but unfortunately it was deleted.

Mi piaceva il mio soggiorno al Pod Inn!! Pros - Passeggiabile per la maggior parte dei siti più importanti. - Una breve distanza a piedi dai negozi, ristoranti e negozi - Ha un ristorante accanto/associato al (?) ostello - Pods sono privati e spaziosi (e sono un grande uomo!) Letto era anche comodo! - Lumini e aria condizionata regolabili all'interno dei pozzi - Il luogo ha WiFi - Ha una stazione di carico per telefoni all'interno dei pozzi - L'area comune ha cucina Cons - La ricezione è aperta solo durante le ore di lavoro, perciò potrebbe essere difficile contattare chiunque fuori da quelle ore - il bagaglio è fuori - i Pod non sono troppo sonoro Tutti i pochi che non pensavo che mi piacerebbe stare in un hotel di popolare e sono molto felice di avere una splendida esperienza con Pod Inn Launceston!

We planned to stay at this hotel 3 years ago and our plan just resumed after Covid situation is not a key concern anymore. At first, we were quite worried about what we would get from the hotel after kept reading many negative reviews; however, we made a final decision to stick to our plan and it is the right decision! Everything was just perfect for us, especially its location. - Our room is clean and cozy. It has everything we need and a log fire to make us warm after hiking the whole day under the rain and a strong wind. No tv and wifi in the room but it is not our problem. We spent our 2 nights to enjoy the nature surrounding our room and Cradle Mt National Park. A telephone signal was quite strong, so we did not need free wifi at all. - All staffs were friendly and helpful. We sent many emails to confirm our booking, ask about hotel information, and make a reservation for our breakfast/dinner. They reply us promptly and provided all information we needed. Check-in and check-out process is really quick and staffs at the reception gave us a map and suggested us the track to walk around the hotel. - Foods are not bad as we expected as many reviews mentioned. Breakfast at Highland is on average and the choice of foods is not variety which is normal for the remote accommodation. If you would like to get the best slot for your breakfast, better book a table in advance. We also tried to have both lunch and dinner at Tavern Bar on the first day and we decided to spend for our dinner at Highland Restaurant on the second day. At dinner time, it is quite packed at Tavern Bar and it took more time to wait for a food which is understandable and please be patient. Booking at Highland is required and they have only set menu which is worth to try. - Only one thing is the room rate is a little bit pricey but it is understandable. It is only the hotel located in Cradle Mt. National Park, the remote accommodation that provide the best spot to access all hiking tracks in this park. If you would like to get some short rest after long hour hiking and the most convenient stay before and after hiking in Cradle Mt, this place is the most perfect and has everything you need!
