「鶴ケ岡城址公園」です

　鶴岡公園は、庄内藩酒井家が約250年もの間居城としていた鶴ヶ岡城だった場所を公園に整備しました。ですから公園内には、お堀や石垣、樹齢数百年の老杉があり、お城だった名残りを強く感じさせてくれます。 　その中心には荘内神社があり、公園内は緑が豊かで気持ちの良い場所でした。「日本さくら名所100選」に選ばれた園内には約710本の桜があり、春には素晴らしい桜を見ることができる場所でもあるそうです。
