掘った方々の苦労が伝わる石のトンネル

福浦港近くのもう車は通行できない旧道の先にあります。 福浦トンネルまでは徒歩でしか行けませんが、ローソク島遊覧船からもその外観を見ることが出来ます。 ややこしいのが、福浦トンネルの手前にある小さなトンネル。こちらも手掘りでできたトンネルのようなので、気づかないとこちらを福浦トンネルと勘違いしてしまう可能性があります。（私がそうでした。）

手掘りのトンネル

明治時代に人が手掘りで掘ったというトンネルです。 駐車場は無く、中は立ち入り禁止となっているため、観光資源としてはもったいない感じです。
