The name of the fortress is JUROMENHA, not Jerumenha, and it is really worth a visit.
In spite of the misspelling of the name of this castle/fortress, it is well worth the visit. Just be aware that if you enter the name as it is on Trip Advisor right now, it will not show up on GPS. ...

Splendid place full of history and exuberant views.
Travelling across alentejo we took a detour to jorumenha. Amazing spot unique. A pity is so badly preserved. But fully deserves a visit
