Well probably been better but they were bulldozing trees into river
Fished ponds stocked trout (rainbow) did catch nice bass. Great place to look for Pleocene fossils along river.

Classic outdoor camp.
Plenty of trees and shade for camping, some nice hikes with decent hills. Fishing is ok. A good spot to stage from for going up to the Niobrara.

We tent camped here in April and were the only ones in the campground. That said, I’d still camp here during the busy season (if there is one at this small, out-of-the-way state park). The tent si...
