Visit to Niwot
The Tree carvings were amazing along with the history of the Indians living in Niwot in the past. Niwot is a lovely small Colorado town that is worth visiting if you are in the Boulder area.
Great tree carvings in Niwot
Don't miss the opportunity to see these if you are in Niwot. Just two main sculptures along with a plaque tell the history of the town and Arapahoe Indian presence there.
Astonishing!
We almost stopped driving to see these gorgeous carvings. There is space to park, and there were several families around. Would love to see again!

Take a few minutes to stroll over to the tree carvings on the south side of Niwot Rd near 2nd Ave. For years I got to see sculptor Eddie Running Wolf transform these massive tree stumps into magic. ...
