Good timing and so great to see

I always wanted to watch a lock working and baits being raised up levels. This was fantastic to see and we were really lucky to see 4 yachts being lifted up the levels - loved it

It is exciting to watch the boats going up or down the locks. It is hard work to do the ropes right and to keep the boat tight during the locking upwards.

Beautiful old locks

Beautiful big old locks and a popular tourist spot. They have yummy ice cream and it’s interesting to sit down for a while and watch all sizes of boats going up or down the 5 locks.

Great to watch

5 locks covering 15+ meters. Impressive and run by young summer employees. Great scenery that attracts many by-passers. Do come to watch!
