Old Whaling Station (dismantled +- 1913)

You will see this as part of visiting penguins. Not much to see really. It was a very windy day so we did not hang about.

visited the whaling station while we where in south africa it was a good inside to what they did to the whales

Might as well go if you're seeing penguins anyway

We saw the information boards while we were there to view the penguins at stony point. There really isn't anything else there about the whaling station.

Adjacent to the Penguins

Actually the Penguins seem to be taking over here as well, there were quite a few on the old slipway. There are some signs explains what the station used to look like.
