Pretty amazing

It was a really astonishing little castle, it is not like there is much to see, but definietly worth if you stay nearby. The Trachian tomb nearby was also small but worth it

Great view, just above the village

Nice place to visit, just getting out a bit in nature, some 15km outside the Svilengrad in a village Mezek. Ruins of a castle, but the view is amazing. Recommendation to visit it

Better to come after hours

Came here after 18:00 and found nobody, however it was free to enter and wonder around. Not sure if the guard was lazy to follow us or it’s just normal, however definitely it’s better with nobody arou...

Amazing place, a must see

we were there in a sunny day and the view was fantastic, the fortress itself is partially preserved, but much better than other ruins in Bulgaria. Easy to reach from the highway.. Highly recommended
